This might be the best version of a song I've heard of LEON. Since he's an Engloid I'm quite impressed. I haven't heard many songs of him though (lol, and unfortunately the others sucked). The screm in the beginning was really - like REALLY - good. Much better than Kaito managed to do it. xD

I haven't read all the comments, but those I read weren't very positive. I think it was great though!

@fireangel783 Well for one KAITO would be the Japanese version of LEON because LEON came out before KAITO. Infact LEON and LOLA are the first Vocaloids ever realised. But anyway no sometimes Vocaloids sound similar. At times I confuse Rin with Miku or Gumi with Luka. It's just a fault of the program.

@fireangel783 KAITO was released on February 17 in 2006. Both MEIKO and KAITO are official Vocaloids. Many people do not know what makes a Vocaloid official so they often mistake Teto Kasane or Neru Akita as a Vocaloid while they say less popular Vocaloids aren't official. What makes a Vocaloid official is by having a Voicebank that is run through the VOCALOID program. Some times people edit those voices to give their Fanloid a voice, but this does not make them official.

VOCALOID has Japanese and English capabilities, and VOCALOID3 shall have Korean, Chinese, and Spanish options as well. Leon is one of the English-speaking VOCALOIDs, more commonly referred to as "Engloids". Leon and Lola were the first two VOCALOIDs, before MEIKO and KAITO. Sweet Ann, Tonio, and Luka Megurine all have English voicebanks. Plus, there are tons more Japanese VOCALOIDs, like Yuki Kaai and Kiyoteru.

I tend to judge this song by the scream. If it's one flat note, then I don't think it's very good. If it wavers slightly and has feeling, as a real voice does, then it's good. I like this version!!

For the first vocaloid created with old software I have to say he actually sounds great. The only thing I can say is that if his voice was just a little more clear and louder then he could kick all the other vocaloids' asses with this ver.

I agree, y'know it's kinda funny how ver. 2 Vocaloids are getting upgrades, but the original 5 (Leon, Lola, Miriam, Meiko, and Kaito) don't need them, they just need better composers and songs that fit them or even they're own songs.

on a random note it'd be pretty cool if one of the English- singing ones could get an upgrade that allowed them to sing in other languages.

Most of the English vocaloids I have heard are either too electronic sounding to make out the words or too low to fully hear what they are saying.
