I remembering seeing Kickboxer 1 with van Damme. After that I heard there is also Kickboxer 2. My cousin already saw it for months lol. Finally it took me years to see Kickboxer 2. Sasha Mitchell did excellent work. I will never forget the feeling how interested I was on the Sloan story line.

Sorry but this movie is awesome! much better than the first but thats only my opinion. Plus the eye candy aint bad either, sasha mitchell is GORGEOUS i'd advise the females to give it a watch on that reason alone, lol, you wont be disappointed. Promise! :)

Ps, it takes some getting used to watching sasha when he aint saying 'dude' all the time haha! (love cody too btw!)

personally, i was never a van damme person even though he's an exceptional fighter.

i always love the underdog type movies and that's what did it for me in this- sorta like best of the best w/eric roberts. this film with sasha mitchell leads up to one hell of a fight scene that makes the whole movie.

i was just watching the last season of the tv series dallas with sasha mitchell in it and they show him with his new shoulder tat which got me thinking of watching this again.

Actually I love all 5 Kickboxer movies. Yes, original movie was very unique but being B-movie fan I must admit that its sequels were also great. Kickboxer 2 was very dark compared to the first one but Sasha Mitchell was wonderful and thanks God they put Dennis Chan's character. I love him

I love JCVD, but I grew up watching Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, and a bunch of imported Hong Kong films. JCVD's fights never really impressed me as they were comical compared to Hong Kong's finest.

Tom Poe is actually Michael Qissi, another martial artist who plays in Van Damme films. Remember Lionheart, the last fight Atilla, that is Abdel Qissi, his brother and Tom Poe {Michael Qissi} is the young legionnaire that was sent to bring him back with the old guy.

The BIG problem with this is reusing the "villain" from the first film, the thing about a martial arts movie villain is the fact that they are considered to be invincible, once beaten it is proven that they are not invincible and the metaphorical "mountain" has been climbed, they can never be reused. One exception is this: The villain in Undisputed 2 CAN be used in Undisputed 3 because hes the "hero" in the sequel, and a hero unlike a villian does not need to be undefeated.

Tong Po shot Kurt and Eric Sloan out of anger. A few years have past since the first film, all the Kickboxer films dont really connect with one another. Shasha Mitchel was casted because he was just ghetting into body building and Tai-Kwan-Do, explains him being the perfect image for this film. This is my favourite Kickboxer film out of all five. The fith doesn't deserve to be a part of the series. David Sloan is killed at the beginning of the 5th film.

Ho visto alcuni pezzi del 5, tra cui l'introduzione in cui "un'ombra" che dovrebbe essere David, che le prende e muore, il protagonista è un cinese molto kung funiano ma che con la kickboxing ha poco a che vedere... Su youtube se vuoi, a pezzi, c'è il film completo...

Comunque se ci fai caso, Tong Po sembra cambiare anche dal primo al secondo anche se è sempre Qissi, merito del trucco...Inoltre nel 2 Qissi sembra un po' imbolzito e da meno l'idea del combattente tailandese...

Un momento però... Van Damme lo ha letteralmente "stracciato", ha subito solo all'inizio perché non poteva combattere al massimo, ma se lo avesse fatto il combattimento sarebbe durato due minuti... David, che è molto inferiore a Kurt (riflette del resto le qualità atletiche degli attori), invece combatteva al massimo fin dall'inizio e ne ha prese parecchie. Solo nel quarto, quando però Tong Po' era interpretato da Krifa ha fatto di meglio avendo quell'aureola di invincibilità
