I know it's a flawed system of MMA's 3 to 5 round matches. So in MMA, one guy can just do a hit an run and do no damage for round 1 and 2, but get wrecked in round 3, and still win, unless it's so bad that it's a 10-8, but then those usually get stopped.
Honestly, perhaps the worst decision I've seen in my many years of watching MMA. Ring got punked all around. He was taken down at will, roughed up, and simply punished. Fukuda looked like he'd just gotten a facial after the fight, not even a mark.
That it was a unanimous decision seems REALLY fishy, consdering Ring got beat up.

@hmongbiggie8 Yea but with this "10 point must" scoring system, which was originally developed for boxing matches, which have 10 to 12 rounds, it don't matter if the first 2 were even, one guy has to get 10 points, and the other a maximum of 9. I know it's a flawed system of MMA's 3 to 5 round matches. So in MMA, one guy can just do a hit an run and do no damage for round 1 and 2, but get wrecked in round 3, and still win, unless it's so bad that it's a 10-8, but then those usually get stopped.

Honestly, perhaps the worst decision I've seen in my many years of watching MMA. Ring got punked all around. He was taken down at will, roughed up, and simply punished. Fukuda looked like he'd just gotten a facial after the fight, not even a mark.
That it was a unanimous decision seems REALLY fishy, consdering Ring got beat up.

@Bunnicula71 Just to clear something up, a UNANIMOUS decision doesn't reflect on how badly one wins, it's just called that when all the judges agree on a winner.
I know some people say, "That was a close fight, but it shouldn't have been unanimous, maybe a split decision", but that statement makes no sense if you take it in context.
If 3 judges thought one guy BARELY won, but won none the less, then it's unanimous.
