@lilgoldengirl16 I'm so glad you are excited! There really is no end to all the items that you can create - and with very easy stitches too. If you have any requests or suggestions for tutorials, I'd love to hear from you. Hugs
you should think of a name for because it is lovely! :) Thank you so much for sharing your pattern. I'm having a baby in May and am now making a baby blanket with this stitch! thank you again and hugs right back
@lytanner1 The scarf took 2 skeins (they were small) I'm thinking any soft 4 play yarn would work fine. I've made several with different yarns and they all turned out fine. Thanks so much. Hugs Eva
Wow I just started crocheting again after initially learning as a lefty when I was 12, so needless to say it has been some years. This video was really helpful and easy to follow I am currently working on my first scarf like this and it is coming along really nicely, so thanks so much for the great tutorial :) This stitch makes a really cute and interesting texture for a scarf.
@palkal77 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I'm so happy that you've found the video helpful. Would love to see a pic of your finished project! Eva
@Chemmmn It sounds like you are having trouble with tension - stitches tight in some areas and then looser in others. This is usually just a matter of practice. Too heavy could be caused by the type of yarn you are using. I'm sorry you are having some trouble getting it right. Try to relax and know that it is a learning process and you will get the hang of it. Feel free to PM me if you'd like more help. Hugs Eva
Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!! You have been by far THEEEE easiest to comprehend and follow for beggineers!!! I Finally was able to start and FINISH my scarf projects and I love it thank you sincerely!
When I first learned how to crochet, I made up a pattern similar to this one. The problem was that I added a chain at the end of each row, so my scarf was a strange almost-triangle shape! It's nice to know my "invention" is like an actual pattern! :)
@katuni08 Thanks so much for watching and sharing. I've made my share of weird shapes too! And I can't count the number of times I've pulled something apart to start over. It's how we learn. Thanks again Eva

Oh, ok. I thought in the video you used that small skein of fleur from eBay.

How many skeins did you use? Is there another yarn that is similar?

Some areas in my scarf are tight and some are loose. Is this normal? I hate it. It feels heavy too.
