They are the one's causing the problem cause you can't put cannabis in a pill and the gov't won't fund research because they don't want to fund the truth.But ask the gov't to give you money to research any other drug on the planet well then it's like "how much money do you want?" Only problem is you can't hide the truth forever!!!

Uhm, there are already pills of cannabis, it's called marinol, so yes you can put it in a pill.

Marinol is a synthetic derivative of just one of the more than 400 compounds found in cannabis. According to many people who have used marinol, it's either not effective or it's too edgy. The compounds found naturally in the plant have a synergistic effect that is much more effective than marinol. So no, marinol is not cannabis.

About the "conspiracy"... The reason why most psycoactive plants are illegal is not because they are necessarily dangerous. It's simply because big pharma can't monopolize or patent a plant. So they must create synthetic derivatives of the plants so they can patent them, thereby stuffing out competition for a decade or so and enabling them to justify astronomical prices. Let people grow plants for God's sake. Don't people realize how primative we are to be restricting plants! What a joke.

they should just say ok, your restricted to a X amount of plants for your disability or what ever ur on it for, and put them in jail if they sell the bud or what ever the case, cigerettes are far more dangerous than cannabis, but its all about money, there is no conspiracy, its about people in high places making money

Listen I know why cnn didn't post it on their live show $, but it is one of the most grotesque injustice's of the past 75 years (imprisonment and so on). The people need to know where these candidates all stand and cnn should not be allowed to discard major important topic's based solely on their funding (greed) from the drug company's.

Especially when alcohol's side effect of drunkeness is far more invasive) and yet relieves symtoms of disease (from cancer to heart disease to alzheimers to chronic pain to A.I.D.S and M.S the list goes on and on) as much if not better then these synthetic drugs flooding the market by the FDA's approval. Where is the justice??? Like someone said in the debate.. something to the affect that the only greater sin than abuse of power is standing by let letting and watching the injustice continue.

How can they be ok to prescribe but a harmless plant with no mortal dangers short or long term or major side effects (eccept for the short term "HIGH" some people could do without so let them choose another type of drug that suits them but don't ruin it for everyone else who needs it.

Let alone drug's such as the depressent morphine which is addictive and deadly with major side effects and percocet which is made up of the stimulant thebaine which is the narcotic in heroien and has the same dangers as all other opiates such as morphine and codiene ( drug's derived from the opium plant).

How can the government stand by their claims that cannabis has no medical value? And how can the people stand to let it continue? When by far it has more remedies for a list of ailment's so long each and every person will relate too at one point in their live's.With cannabis having far less dangers then the most ordinary over the counter medicines such as asprin and acetaminophen both can kill and have killed people in drove's.

Cannabis works it has been proven time and time again by unbiased scientist's(at one time or another, now they've just become activist's on the side of the truth)using the gold standard of resarch trial's "double blind studies".
