I absolutely loved this game played it six months ago, played it twice - different outcomes etc etc and I still havent found a game that compares. I like LA Noire but havent completed that yet. anyone recomend any other similar games?

I like how the game makes you feel as if your part of it. It's really dark and I love how there's so many twist's in the storyline you just don't know what's going to happen next. The decision making in this game is incredible. The only thing wrong with this game is the voice acting is a little off like someone said earlier. Heavy Rain is a perfect game. 9/10 for me :)

Actually a really good game. Was interesting in that you could fail and just branch of to another section of the story line. Sometimes I wasn't even sure whether I had succeeded or failed which was a great indicator of how it immerses you in the world.
this game is alot like the movie finding nemo. and heres why ---> in finding nemo, the dad fish's kids get killed. in the beggining og heavy rain ethans son jason gets killed. in finding nemo, nemo gets kidnapped. in heavy rain shaun gets kidnapped.throughout finding nemo, the dad fish goes through all these crazy stuff to find his son. in heavy rain, yuh do these crazy trials just to find yuhr son. in finding nemo, nemos in a fish tank, and in heavy rain shauns in a water filled grate.so yea...
My complaint about this game was that it can be completed within 12 hours, the voice acting was also a little off, the plus side is that i am not usually into this type of game and yet it kept me coming back for more, i was totally engrossed in the game, it really does make you feel ''one with the character'' i honestly started to feel the emotions of the character i was playing. Excellent graphics, some slow parts, alternative endings. I would not pay more than £15.00p for the game.
My only complain was the voice acting for this, half time the voice just sound half assed like dad didn't even give a shit or over acting dramatic. All voices were perfect for characters they just didn't always feel convincing at times. If they could just fix this and do some type of game just like this would be instant classic in my book.

The most amazing game I have ever played.. this truly is the game to justify the Playstation 3 being around. So easy to get immersed in and such a unique play style that allows you to feel like your in the game and YOUR experiencing what the Characters are doing, and with 6 alternate endings!

I honestly have not found a game that has thus far had lasting effect on me as this one. I would rate it 7 out of ten. I feel as though it was far too easy to complete..add some real challenging puzzles and decision making and you got yourself a 9/10 game.

This game does have its fair share of flaws but it also does many things right. It has a very atmospheric soundtrack, incredible graphics (some of the most well rendered humans ever), some really memorable and likeable characters (Madison was amazing) and an interesting (although flawed) story. I've played the game to completion numerous times with my girlfriend and we had a blast. Don't care what it is (a movie-game or an interactive movie) as I had a great time with the experience anyway.

This game does have its fair share of flaws but it also does many things right. It has a very atmospheric soundtrack, incredible graphics (some of the most well rendered humans ever), some really memorable and likeable characters (Madison was amazing) and an interesting (although flawed) story. I've played the game to completion numerous times with my girlfriend and we had a blast. Don't care what it is (a movie-game or an interactive movie) as I had a great time with the experience anyway.

I feel like a lot of games have better story lines... amnesia, Return to Castle Wolfenstein (maybe the greatest shooter of all time), Riven, and I can't think of many other games right now but there are some awesome ones. Heavy Rain was good, but not that great, and it was more of a animated movie than a game.
