Not exactly fair to say that "Republicans" get special treatment, or that "Republicans" are corrupt. In Oak Forest, my neighborhood, BOTH Democrats and Republicans have joined together to defraud 5,500 homeowners and protect OFHA, Inc. When OFHA, Inc. sued my family 10 years ago over Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, it was a Republican Judge who stepped down before our case was heard, and a Democrat who judged that our inalienable rights were stripped... Corruption goes both ways.

I'm definitely voting for Ginny McDavid. Republicans like Bohac think the Police Department and County Sheriff are their personal security guards. Everyday citizens have been bankrolling this good ole boy network way too long.
