I guess now I have to give Nintendo more of my money to play this damn game here just take my wallet and in return give me a 3DS, this game, and the inevitable pokemon game that is to come out as well in the far off future.

Darn it! This looks horrible compared to the original Luigi's mansion! I wish they would have kept the same ghost looks. And I wish it looked more scary. I'm 10 I'm a kid. @aoitori101 Actually, Luigi has taken up a job as someone who is being payed to clean up ghosts from different various mansions. You start at Egadd's Lab and are then teleported to one of at least 8 different mansions. I have seen some videos, and it is looking a lot better in more recent vids.
The only thing I'll hate about this game is the ghost design. The first game's ghosts were really creative and unique; however the ones in this game seem boring and childish, it looks las if they didn't even TRY. I would've been happy even if they'd recycled the ghosts from the first game, even though it would seem unoriginal, they are much better than these!
Kids of this generation are becoming less scared, why are nintendo making this less scary, all it does is keep away people buying it because its too childish

@Shiga2714 I just hope its better than the trailer I would love to see boss fights where you have to think to defeat them. I've seen 3D land on here and there just seemed to be something missing but I don't know what. I guess its one of those things thats actually a lot more fun than you think, hoping LM has the same outcome. But I know it will be good quality seeming though its Mario and I noticed a big improvement between the DS and Wii New Super Mario Bros so I guess same will happen for this

@Rileyix Nah, trust me. Recently, Nintendo has been stepping up their game quality. Skyward Sword and 3D Land both received perfect/near perfect scores (3D Land actually got a 5 out of 5 on X-Play). Reason being, I think Nintendo wants to step up recognition to prove the 3DS is capable of being successful. There are some good games our right now, but I think most fans want more first party games first. Believe me, I love that there's going to be a LG's sequel, and I have faith in Nintendo.

Scary aura in the first game? Nintendo made the ghosts amusing in the game so it doesn't scare little children! I for one am I excited about this game. The rooms look beautiful, which shows that the 3DS could even compete with the Gamecube when it comes to graphics. The only thing I don't like are the ghosts, I like the old ones better.

When I first got this when I was 5 (two years after the release), I was scared to see the ghosts popping out and rarely played the game. When I turned 7, I became addicted to the game.

I loved the game so much even though since i was a kid, it scared me. luigi has been my favorite nintendo character since. so yeah. also, the reason i'm defending this sequel is due to what i said before, i love luigi and i'm open to any game with him as the star (excluding mario is missing)

OK,you know what? Mario game catogories are kinda in the toilet. I mean,Luigi has a game,wario has a game,MARIO HAS OVER 9000,Hell,Peach has her own game! But they need to make 2 games,1 where Bowzer is the main character (not BIS,that was mario,luigi and bowser.),and 1 where WALUIGI is the main character.
Then the mario series will be complete.

I love Luigi's Mansion! It's really awesome....... but this one is a little to childish. I like Luigi's emotions and faces, though. The ghosts are too unrealistic.

@0O0G4MER0O0 Call the engrish police! Also what do you expect out of a game that is PORTABLE? I mean a console is better than portable in graphics and shit. But portables is...portable. If you have used a PSP or DS or any others you'll realize. But the 3DS has the best graphics out of any handheld.

2. 3DS outsold more then the PSP and PS3. It's a big system and a lot of people love it with great games under way.

When I first got this when I was 5 (two years after the release), I was scared to see the ghosts popping out and rarely played the game. When I turned 7, I became addicted to the game.

@DeCans1999 I admit the soundtrack is good, but that second statement is false. i grew up with luigi's mansion, the gamecube was the first console i owned and luigi's mansion was the first GAME i owned. I loved the game so much even though since i was a kid, it scared me. luigi has been my favorite nintendo character since. so yeah. also, the reason i'm defending this sequel is due to what i said before, i love luigi and i'm open to any game with him as the star (excluding mario is missing)
