I'm not really sure. But on my last PGA 09 promo video (i can't stop mentioning:D) I'm playing vs Tiger Woods and you can take a look on some putting scenes after the main match.

BtW: I'd say I've got a great deal of virtual putting skills.:D And I personally think that the "put-parts" are the best in this game.

My all time favorite Sports game ever (and the only one I ever liked) was Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006. I can certainly relate to your love for the original XBox golf titles.
