  • dude, you are amazing. love this!

very passionate about music and recording at your age. really, you can go far with the right motivation :)

got some original songs you record?

  • ^____^b

  • awesome drumming and good selection of a song! usually people tend to cover rock songs, but this not as much. Beautiful man! Greetings from U.S

  • Sounds pretty good :) Kick a little sounding wooly for my liking though ;)

  • Sounds amazing bro.

  • Go to bandg4ever's page and listen to his piano cover of this, and do a drum cover to that :D

  • I think the original should be like this :)

  • nice.

  • well done!

  • How/where did you learn that.

  • How do yew do that! O:

    Im in a band

    were gonna play that song

I need to learn on the drums

    Like really. How

  • wow wow u r really good @^_^@

  • Great job

looked like you were jammin out :P

  • Finally somebody else that plays drums but likes Owl City too :D

Whenever I try to do something like this my snare is too loud or my hi-hat just fails :[

  • was just jamming last night and put this song on and loved it. didnt actually expect to see any covers, but nice job!

work on getting you're fills a bit more varied, and try it with a semiquaver triplet shuffle too, sounds so much more upbeat and exciting :) other than that nice wee cover.

  • Omg I love this cover Im trying to play this on drums, but you got the beat kid ^_^

  • are you using triggers because your drums sound awesome

  • haha thank you very much! NO I don't use any triggers and I onöy record with ONE stereo track.... No multitrack recording :)

  • hello from Greece Pascal. Its BEST !!!

  • Nice job! I just did heard of Owl City not too long ago. And now I enjoy listening to them a lot. You got it kiddo! at 39 years old, I still have an open mind for ALL good music. Check out my Owl City covers when you get a chance. Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you very much! I saw your Cover and it is awesome! ;)

  • Loved it! Im such and Owl City fan. lol

what is that blue thing around ur head snare? sorry for my ignorance but i totally forgot it!

  • hey thank you for the comment! ;)

ehm that blue thing is a ring which blocks the sound a little bit... I don't know the name in english... ^^

  • @jonasfanandreanicole hah its called a Zero ring, it stops the drums from ringing out so you dont get that anoying buzz at the end of the ring of your drum. in laymans terms...they dampen your drums :P

  • Great take! Nice to see you really feeling the song. Keep it up!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • don't be afraid to have some fun with that hi hat. this has some potential for some tasty licks

  • that guy is a talent!

  • did you get sheets do to this, or did you just figure out the cover yourself

  • Hey dude. No I haven't any sheet. I did an improvisation ;)

  • Pro dude :D

    Merry Christmas!!

  • From where u got the non-drum version? :) Great job dude :)

  • Yoo dude

This isn't a drum version... If you hear closesly you will hear the original drums. I've just mixed my drum over the original drums....

Thank you for your comment ;)

  • Love it!

  • Haha what do you mean with permission? ;) If you want take it there is no problem for me. Make me happy that you enjoyed it. For the camera angle I used Magix Video Maker.

  • hey! I use Cubase for the recording. Awesome sofware... ;)

  • awesome job pascal, loving it!! =)

  • Man, i like it! :D

  • Hey TheBenWelch!

Thank you for your comment... If only everybody could make such comments like yours... Yes I noticed it that I everytime use the same fills. I will work on it.... ;)

  • Your toms sound fantastic, and the grooves are really solid. I like.

The only constructive criticism I have to give is that you work on varying up your fills. They sound great, but you really only use about three different fills and just tweak them a little bit. Try using the rims of the drums, or choke hits on the cymbals.

    Nicely done, dude.
