  • Thanks for this awesome post! Genki is my favorite fighter of all time. Such an interesting and unique person in and outside of the ring.

  • wow, this guys my hero!

  • @subslament Wow. Thank you for doing a favor for the world and posting up such an epic documentary. I'm sorry to tell you this, but my trainer let me know about Genki Sudo. He was in the bathroom when he read a sign saying "Always Move Forward". He retired from MMA, and started to fight crime at night as a masked defender. He also has the power of slowly reversing pollution. To this day, Genki Sudo is saving the world one step at a time.

  • FOREVER Genki!!

  • 悩んでいるときは過去や未来を考えているとき

    ・・・It's true!

  • Go Genki!

  • I want the shorts genki has! at 3:04

  • Thanks for posting. Genki is one of my idols. Top bloke. Retired way too early IMO.

  • he says exactly the same thing as Krishnamurti

  • Genki is a Legends, so inspiring!

    We are all one.

  • IN addition to being a great fighter. Genki, indeed, seem to be a great and deep person.

  • Very inspiring!

  • someone the song when the credits roll please. too awesome

  • someone explain how they were allowed to fight, their weight class' are so far apart

  • @enzofigueroa They're just "Exhibition" type bouts. Anyway MMA isn't sanctioned or governed like boxing or muay thai. Promoters are free to arrange whatever fights they like and in Japan "freak" match ups like Butterbean v Genki or Gracie v Akebono or Conseco v Hong Man Choi are common place. But then again even in boxing you get freak exhibition type bouts, Shaquille O'Neal just fought De La Hoya and Sugar Shane and who can forget all those shitty Celebrity boxing bouts :S

  • @unregisturd what are you talking about? ufc, strikeforce, etc, all have weight classes, there are no "freak" matchups

  • @unregisturd Freaks, and freak fights, should stay in the circus.

And MMA is sanctioned in the US.

  • @MrCreepy92 Grow up my son, your view is weak and uneducated. Please realize martial arts is part entertainment phor the audience.

  • @sheemsheem No, a martial art is, by definition, an art used in the act of combat.

Eh, you keep watching your heavyweight vs. lightweight fights and talking down to me as much as you want, asshole.

  • genki sudo most unique fighter ever. we need someone like him in the ufc

  • Thanks 4 da upload man!

    Brilliant.....Genki is brilliant!

  • the che guevara trunks he is wearing are cool, i wonder where he got´em?

  • im going to miss yu genki sudo. hopefully one day i can meet him.

  • awsome documentary!! thanks for posting!

  • i loved this, thank you. genki's always been an inspiration to me as a fighter and a martial artist.

  • Genki is the reason why Japan is homeland of mma. Every fighter should be as creatinve and as busy and the ground as him. every mma fighter should make look fight as art.

  • great post man...thanks...love watching Genki on the ground

  • Genki!

  • the genki to butterbean ratio is like 1/4 lmao.

    We are all one!

  • tks for this post!

  • Music goes perfect with the video. Great fighter, great music, Perfect Video.

  • grea documentary

  • 短編映画みたい☆

  • I think these 5 parts are only about 40 minutes of the original documentary, which is 65 minutes long. It's available to buy online, but I don't think it's subtitled. Someone fansub please!

  • my favorite mma fighter of all time. sucks that he was big before mma really made it big in the US. he's almost an ali or a Robinson of MMA.

  • he could have done SERIOUS damage if he would have put on about 25-35lbs of muscle and put his ass in UFC more. no one is sure how to fight him. and that is what gives him such an advantage.

  • COOL

  • good movie! *clapclapclap* =)

  • he is quite a buddhist. great guy. would really like to meet him

  • Thx for posting.

    Great stuff!

  • genki was a true g

  • his fighting career IS over... if u seen n e of his movies... he WAS a true g

  • genki A DEMI GOD

  • Wow!!! I am more of a bigger fan than ever. I knew the man was deep but not so philosophical about fighting and life. This was a great documentary.

if learned much of hes words!

    Genki sudo !

  • WE ARE ALL ONE

  • we are all one!

  • this guy is very spiritual..i actually felt better listening to his "philosophies"

    great fighter.

  • That's cool Sudo and Butterbean agreed to do that fight...makes for some good entertainment

  • Awsome....

  • genki a true martial artist

  • Genki your the best bro, good luck in all you do

  • Just finished watching this and wanted to say that Genki embodies the spirit of his nickname. He has a samurai's fighting heart, and his philosopher mind. A true inspiration.

  • i love genki thx!!!

  • Man, that's a great documentary. Thx for the upload.

  • yhx for the upload bro. gamsa hapnida!

  • thanks for this series, never got to see Genki fight live... he was before my time in MMA. Hopefully he has one more fight left in him. His insights, while weird, are very cool and explain a bit of his showmanship.

  • genki videos are always appreciated. this series is a gem. thanks subslament.

  • Awesome!!!! Genki is one bad motha

  • We are all one!

Is Genki still training? I respect his choice to stop fighting, but to lose a talent like that from the martial arts would be a shame.

  • he had some injuries and physical problems.

he might be back eventually though

    i do hope

  • Hey man, do you know what all this music is by any chance?

  • thank's men

is impresive genki, is the best

  • welcome dude, is a pleasure sharing it all
