  • thanks for posting this great vid.

  • @max9871123456 you are very welcome..glad you enjoyed it! Russ

  • he learned to play from jimi hendrix

  • @HackerGuitarist that`s just an urban myth...Frank is a self taught player......Russ

  • @lindaharris26 he knew the basics but .. after marino had a bad car accident , hendrix came to his hospital and taught him daily all his techniques,, after Marino got out his career took off.you can tell from his playing

  • @HackerGuitarist Sorry...but none of that ever happened. Visit Frank`s website. Just google Mahogany Rush and you will find his official fan page listed. Youtube will not allow the posting of the link. The real story is posted there or you can ask Frank there...he will personally answer you. Russ

  • @jeff9ish:DavidFrazier is correct. A Firebird body, not upside down though as the whammy is connected at the bottom of the bridge. He has after market DiMarzio pick-ups (correct for the day) Bridge and Neck but I can't make out what is in the middle position. A soap bar or a strat pick-up? Could it be empty? Johnny Winters Firebird tone is obvious though.

  • only guitarist i ever saw empty a club floor because he was jamming too much !! i fucking did not miss a note!! frank is the man!!

  • Woah, Vince can rip it.

  • Holy crap, these needs to remastered and released. Fantastic find. Much thanks.

  • I really really really hope this can be produced and available on CD...I hope Frank can start looking into this and getting the rights or at least something to have it done from the master video takes

  • next life i'm going back to the 60's & 70's

  • My God, Where did you get this? Lawd have mercy!

  • @hadji457 several years ago...at a flea market! lol (A well spent 20 bucks!) Russ

  • @GalaxyRover1020 very welcome glad you are diggin` it! Russ

  • thanks for posting this,i especially liked that version of king bee, even vince cuts loose, that was awesome

  • @DavidFrazier100 you are welcome...yep-Vince can play a mean axe too...must be in the Marino blood! Russ

  • @DavidFrazier100 what kind of guitair is vince playing

  • @jeff9ish my friend i can only guess it looks like a gibson firebird, maybe turned upside down and not really a gibson

  • @DavidFrazier100 The guitar you describe is simply a Gibson Firebird. Could add that it's typically called a Firebird Non-Reverse. What you are used to seeing is the reverse model of the Bird. The Explorer has a more dramatic but similar body. A lot of Firebirds had P-90s and Reverses had mini-humbuckers. Not across the board, but usually. If you look closely at an old Firebird, you will not see the tuning 'keys' sticking out of one side of the headstock as they were banjo keys that simply...

  • ...well...I think that you're Harry Potter senior version...:-)))

  • Christmas has arrived early this year ......

    Wonderful, Russ!
