Hey just wanted to know, within how many weeks or months did you see a difference in the thickness or the length of your hair from using castor oil/??
Amazing!!!. I know trim help hair grow fast. But to me everytime I get a trim my hair stays the same length. It just wont grow longer. I cant even get to BSL -_- I am really tired of my hair being the same length
You have beautiful hair! I was thinking abt switching to S & B Triple Hydration. How exactly does the oil work--do you pour it into the relaxer (at what step) or the conditioner?? I'm confused as to which step you add the oil. I'm using Africa's Best Organics Olive Oil now, I love the way my hair turns out, but everytime I relax--I get really bad dandruff a few days later. I guess my scalp is really dry & sensitive. Do you think the oil would make it easier on my scalp?
@HoneyHoneyBaby, the instructions will tell u what step to pour the oil in. I believe it is the last step. I love this relaxer because it doesnt fully straighten my hair bone straight, so it gives me chance to preserve my thickness. The oil is meant to hydrate your hair during the relaxer process, im not sure about the scalp though. Thanks for commenting!
@talulabunny...Trimmed ends helps retain the length of the hair. Breakage is caused by an imbalance of protein and moisture, and also repetitive heat usage and not protecting your ends.
@Dezyerlve...when i deep condition, i apply Keracare Humecto conditioner to my hair after shampooing, and i put a plastic cap over it and sit with my heating cap over my head for 1 hour. Deep conditioning is meant to really seep into your hair cuticles and make give your hair elasticity. Hope i helped!

would you say that there was a great difference in your hair growth when you proceeded to use the jamaican black castor oil........how did you personally use it? thanks in adavance
@Mishkaology...I would say that it did make me get about almost in inch more of my regular hair growing phase. Its a really good natural hair growing product. I use it 2 ways: I apply it to my scalp only on wash days when my scalp is clean (once a week), and i apply it as a sealant to seal my moisturizer into my hair every morning and night. I night, i mainly focus on my ends and apply the oil to my ends, and put a plastic shower cap over it over night to make my trims last longer! ;-)
Looking good. I'm in agreement with health. I used to obsess with length as my hair used to be shoulder length before going shorter about four years ago --- I kept going shorter and shorter and as of late I am just growing it out, continuing with my regimen and knowing that length will come later. Only time will tell. Continued luck in your journey hon!

i know exactly what you mean about the trimming!! i dust my hair every 2 weeks to make my trims last longer! maybe you should give that a try. with dusting, you lose no length! you only cut the very tip of the ends! hth

@pigalisa I saw a difference in 2 months. I used it twice a say, everyday of the week. My hair was visually thicker!

Your hair looks greats and it's come a long way. Do you do a lot of protective styles and if so what styles do you do.
I believe you can achieve MBL within the next year if you continue to care for your hair the way that you have been.
