@watchmenoftheadvent1 Wrong! You need to study the Bible more in depth. Properly translated, the two witnesses are two individuals that are in flesh bodies. The old and new testament cannot die flesh deaths and be resurrected. Might I suggest that Moses and Elijah who transfigured with Messiah during his flesh life on this earth would be the fulfillment of this prophecy? They are still capable of shedding human blood.

@luckisalady1 I'm afraid you're wrong about that. The prophecy of the two witnesses is not literal but symbolism. Moses and Elijah will never return to this wicked earth again, until after the thousand year reign, along with the rest of the redeemed. They appeared with Christ on the mount of transfiguration to encourage Christ about the sacrifice He was about to make. This prophecy clearly refers to God's Word (Old and New Testament) being cast down during the French Revolution, research it.
