Okay not to be rude, but common sense people. Stop respondingto the people saying negative and hateful comments. They want attention thats why they say the crap they say. They look for hot topics that they can say nasting things about so people react. They don't really mean any of the crap they say. They only say it to get a rise out of other people. If we start ignoring them they will stop saying stupid shit and then get bored of doing it to where they stop. If you see an SOB hit thumbs down.
You're right, as having strabismus to the point you're denied License Drive or having over +25:00 glasses by 17 due to lack of internal lenses as example is a pretty mediocre simile. And as you said, being just 'cross-eyed' isn't genetic and it couldn't fathom sanitary napkins as I am happy and agree with those decisions AND my own conditionl. I said once you have no right to decide if she or whoever decides or not about new life. Also, she would never be left ALONE... Just don't play GOD.
@Anderson1992 Sounds to me like America don't you just love the American health care so compassionate and if you think I mean I am being as sarcasstic as can be.
I think each case is more to do with the individual as opposed to the "situation" as a whole. Each identity in this documentary is completely different. Complex disorders, and an inability to comprehend childbirth or even contemplating rearing children, i reckon, should be handled by other authorities. However, if the individual even vaguely, feels an emotional connection to a child, "sterilization" should not even be an option.

1:04 How can that lady say that we shoudn't play god and decide who can have babyes and who's not ... WHEN SHE ALREADY PLAYS GOD BY KEEPING THESE ABOMINATIONS ALIVE?
How dare you call us abominations?! look whos playing God now. you're deciding who should be kept alive due to physical ability, and who shouldnt! I am in a wheelchair due to spina bifida, and I scuba dive, ski, play wheelchair basketball and im in my schools ROTC unit I speak normally, and im able to do almost everything they can. Your ideas are sick, hitleresque, and anyone thinking like that deserves to be lined up against a wall and shot.
You are looking at this from a wrong perspective. Spina Bifida does not affect your mental growth. This video includes people with cerebral palsy that still have a mental capability. They should not be included in this video because they have the right to have kids. The other woman in the video has a mental problem. If she does not know what she is doing, or how, how is this child supposed to be raised? From my perspective, she should not be allowed to have a child; the other two women should.
@happydays4427 thats not entirly true there is some evidence spinabifida can cause concertration problem I myself had the same school reports every year Andrew is unable to focas his mind on the job in hand .but realy it was that i was so boooooorrrrrdddddd'
@wheelchairby284 funny how you say peoples ideas are sick and to be lined up against a wall and shot. By that logic aren't just playing along with there thinking...they think what they want but you shouldn't go to there level.
How dare you, what gives you the right to call a living human being an abomination? As the mother to a sweet child with CP I am truly offended and saddened that people with your ignorant point of view are walking among us.
@4greatsons Replying to an SOB like stophaarp is giving them the the response they want. These people purposely say the most fucked up shit they can think of to get a rise out of people. Don't take it personally as offensive as it is if you can see throught to what their real intensense are you will know that ignoring their ignorent comments will stop them. Once they stop getting attention they will become bored and lose interest in this kind of attention seeking.
You're an abomination! I declare it! Why did your parents keep you alive? You're inhuman! You lack empathy! A fundamental human characteristic-therefore you should be removed from society, euthanized, or, at least, locked-up in a solitary-confinement cell for the rest of your life. You should be in five-point restraint and fed through a tube-for your own good and for the good of society. You are a threat to yourself and others, because you lack empathy.
I remember seeing a special that had chris Reeve voicing it and it talked about a paraplegic that got pregnent in collage and people looked at her like a freak.. She had the child and hopefully she is doing well. NO one has the right to decide for the indivuale... It is wrong and immmorial...
My God, have these people heard of the Americans with disabilities act? This is totally Hitler-esque...Sick. NO ONE has a right to decide for another whether or not they reproduce...Where does it end? Perhaps sterilize those with low character...or for political reasons...WHERE DOES IT END??? This is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and is NOT open to debate...NO FORCED STERILIZATION. If you know of a medical professional doing this, please post it so they can be dealt with.
It is wrong to decide what somebody's future will be. It is like deciding I can not marry AND have child because I'm disabled and have crossed eyes. "So let's finish his life now so there is no other crosseyed kid next future". It really scares me when I see people thinking they have the right to stop anyother future plan. "For her own protection?" That is a sick excuse.
Likening 'cross-eyed' to these examples is a pretty mediocre simile. And being disabled and/or 'cross-eyed' isn't genetic. The last woman couldn't fathom sanitary napkins and periods. If she gets terrified over uncontrollable bleeding every month, childbirth would be an alien and scarring experience for her. Possible life-long trauma is a definite outcome in her case. Note, in her case, specifically. I'm totally not generalizing this here. I reckon it is for her own protection, specifically.
Also don't forget that in the situation of the time people or the powers think they knew better.
It was more a convenience, for society in general, and in most cases people just did not know better... the tables are turning around and better communication methods have developed than being over looked.
No one has the right to decide who can or cannot have children.. Everyone has the right to make the choice on there own. Unless found incapable of not caring for the child. I am myself disabled and I did choose not to have children for my own reasons. But let the person make their own decisions.
There should be more discussion on this. Professionals and parents only have to listen to what people want and have this under mediation so that the child is in the process of making a decision. It is unethical to show a bias one way or other. Its up to each individual with their own needs and dreams. Blessings from Earth +++ The Saint +++

if some cannot take care of themselves how can people still question whether they should have babies....
VdaiTroy 1 year ago
that trisha girl obviously shouldnt be having babies.
VdaiTroy 1 year ago
@VdaiTroy The only one I agree should have
a operation not to ever get pregnant is that
trisha girl with a mind of a 3 year old.
The others in wheelchairs were a outrage
who are not mentally retarted and should
never be stopped from having a baby since
if they marry, that person would help and
most don't have babies by choice but their
are many who do and can have a baby.
