Yandere are crazy, and so in love with someone, they don't care who they hurt in their pursuit in making their loved one theirs. Yangire has some similar behavior, just not for their most precious one. They'll kill that person in a heartbeat.

I'd prefer tsundere, I really pity yandere characters. I remember a time when my boyfriend broke up with me for someone else... Wasn't a pretty sight (I didn't kill anyone, because cba getting in trouble with the cops, but I'm still not over him)
Anyways another example of yandere is Kaede from "Shuffle!" although she doesn't go on a killing rampage.
And the mental illness you're thinking of for yandere characters is 'Borderline Personality Disorder'

@Graddee Yea, Kaede is a pretty good yandere, another one would be Yuko from Mirai Nikki or Future Diary. Yea, i remembered about the Borderline Personality Disorder right after i uploaded this vid, lol.

I think Tsundere is cute, but if the TsunTsun act goes on for too long it gets really annoying.
Ryouko from Ookami-san is a good example of that...after a while I was like "JUST ADMIT YOU LIKE RYOUSHI FOR F***'S SAKE." lol
So I think, in conclusion, when it comes to anime I like yandere more.

Okei, finished now and will comment my opinion! I personally prefer Tsundere, because I'm a female, and yes I am TsunTsun + DereDere. =w= Also, you could have used Shion Sonozaki as another example for Yandere. I don't want to be killed for this, but I did not like Kotonoha, I prefer Sekai, and as for Higurashi, I love my Mii-Chan. (Mion is Tsundere as well, for those who don't know. Just a unique type of Tsundere) ANYHOW NIIICE VIDEO~ X3

I would prefer tsundere, because while I may be in love with the yandere for a while, the obsession would only serve to make me sick of her. And I'd like to keep living. But I have a question for you, what would you classify Misa Amane from Death Note as? (Other than obnoxious?)

HIGURASHI! I watched the anime and then read the manga; I preferred the manga. Despite me knowing what was going to happen during reading the manga I was more scared by it than the anime! Rena really is scary!
To answer your question I would have to pick Tsundere for the cuteness, but I still love Yandere.

Answering your question, I would prefer a tsundere character. I think a good example of one is Deedit from the OVA of Record of Lodoss War. Very interesting video, understood alot of what you were talking about. The topics you talk about that relate to otaku culture are very interesting and fun to listen to. Keep it up Otakuiankun1!
