@HayZing You're an idiot. Obama had nothing to do with the information gathering that led up to Osama's discovery, all the processes and policies in place from the previous administration. Obama had to think for DAYS to shoot the pirates holding hostages. Most of the most wanted top leadership was shot or captured during Bush's time in office. I know the truth hurts you ass munch, but there it is.
Remember one of George W. Bush's campaign ads in 2000? He said he would keep us safe from terrorist attacks. Interesting how that was one of his main campaign promises.
What was the campaign promise for Barack Obama? The economy.
Seems like they do the opposite of what they promise, every time. So if you hear a candidate saying he will destroy the economy, never bring the troops home, and get terrorists to attack us, maybe we should vote for that candidate.
Lol...kept us safe...I feel less safe now than I did before 9/11. We have troops in 120+ different countries.
Technically, we did get attacked on our watch during 9/11, because we were um...watching it happen and the government did a great job of acting like ants in molasses. Now if someone is making out in a bathroom with another person for two long fighter jets will intercept the flight after like 10 minutes.
Regardless of what you think happened on 9/11, the government FAILED miserably.
Chris Matthews...what a twerp. If the first word out of someone's mouth doesn't fit the response he wants to hear, he changes the question and derides the interviewee. As I said many years ago, "He's all hair and spit." He's got a lot of passion, sadly, it''s the same passion an un-aimed M16 has...brainless and no purpose.
He should report to the nearest playground so the 6th graders could punch some sense into his head....Figuratively, speaking.
"..shall be drawn to the gallows, not walking or carried.." Sadam strike again..? f'ing liars.. how about we de-tongue these liars before we hang them so they can't lie to innocent people in their next life..? lol..
Seems that everyone forgot that we (Dem congress, senate and Pres) did nothing when the WTC were attacked the 1st time, not to mention the embassy bombings, and the real eye opener, the attack on USS Cole. What did Clinton do when Al Qaida struck the Cole? Sent the friggin' FBI instead of the full force of the US military which would have prevented 9/11! But hey, let's blame Bush just for the hell of it and on and on....
Sadam strikes??????????????? Ari Fleischer is a degenerate lying scumbag. He knows as anyone who has half a brain knowns that in 2001 New York was attacked by a bunch of Saudis, some Pakistanis, and some others [Wahabbi sect all] BUT NOT ONE IRAQI. And he knows that Saddam had absolutely nothing to do with it. He is just trying to revise history.
Fleisher, you stupid kike! 911 DID happen on your watch! How dare YOU say otherwise! What? Were you asleep during the entire Bush Administration? Fucking moron!
"kept us safe...came in on a recession...." Come up something new, god damn it. The birth certificate, Michelle's suggestion to get children outside to exercise, Obama smokes camels. The next made up bull shit will be that there is a crap table in the situation room and he throws dice in the rose garden. Nobody objected to laura bush's campaign against illiteracy, well, just her husband-and he won that one.
@HayZing Great post. Remember the Miami seven that bush had the FBI set up as terrorist? They literally found them at a bus stop, paid them over $200,000, a car, pot, and had to try them three times to get convictions. They could not drive a shopping cart into a dumpster, much less a plane into the sears tower.
look up richard gage, 9/11 conspiracy. refusing to look into something thats rooted in science and common sense, means your hiding something. fuck blind patriatism, brings new meaning to "wool over the eyes" stop being so stupid people
@AlecMBertrand ... I dont think 911 was a "terrorist" plot, at all. I think 911 was devised by bush & cheney so they would have a reason to invade Iraq. Think about that, if it was REALLY Osama they were after, why would they concentrate on Iraq? They wouldn't have gone to Iraq, at all. They'd have concentrated all their efforts in Afghanistan and/or Pakistan, but instead they invade Iraq? Ummmm ....that's like getting a 911 call in california & then responding to an address in New York.
@Samantha30090 There is a clip out here wherein Wolf Blitzer asked then Gov. bush a question to which shit for brains said that if he were (appointed) elected president, he would go after sadaam for these fairy tale WMD's. Your analogy is very well stated. It's like thinking that if you get a hand job you got a chimney sweep, or your car got washed. Great post.
@MrEatonbeaver ... thanks, I'll look for that video clip by Wolf Blitzer. It just amazes me how gullable American people can be. I suppose that's because they haven't a clue what's really going on in the world. Sad, dangerous situation, and it's ruined life for us, it's ruined our country.
Let's see...9/11/01...yep, Bush was president. The attacks happened eight months into his presidency - in other words, on his watch. How can you dodge logic like that?
I think it's wonderfull that a developmentally challenged person like Chris Matthews could find work and is so independent. I bet he even dresses himself and everything. Kudos to MSNBC for giving someone with such limited knowledge his own show. Shame on Fox for only hiring intelligent people. MSNBC understands that hardball doesn't need intelligent people to interview intelligent people.
@beowulfthedane You do realize that a) the attacks DID happen on Bush's watch, and b) Osama was behind them, not Saddam. Who's the developmentally challenged one here?
What? Did I hear Ari Fleischer claim that Saddam Hussein was behind the attacks on the US? No, no no. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. The US couldn't find the weapons of mass destruction, and they couldn't prove Saddam was behind 9/11. Oh my God, people who think like Fleischer are in power, making critical decisions? Kick his f**k**g arse out of our lives.
As Americans, we need to stop blaming the economic struggles of our country solely on the president. It's not any one person who caused the economic crisis but rather Americans borrowing money that they simply would never be able to pay back. If we are to blame something, Americans should be blaming our own irresponsibility.
Stop trying to pin this solely on Bush. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. And in no way am i a supporter of Bush either. This could have happened to anyone.
Thanks to Bush's inept handling of the wars (be they justified or not), this country is f*cked. He raised the deficit exponentially and the opinion of us throughout the Muslim world now boils down to "If we didn't have reason to attack them before, we sure do now." The idea that Bush made us safer is blatantly absurd and absolutely counter-factual.
@Distortion0 May I say THANK YOU! I'll flesh it out a bit more Distortion.G.W.Bush, a very sick man, threw away the lives of 5K U.S soldiers, caused the woundings of several 100K more,& is responsible for the deaths of 1.5mil Iraqis.&I didn't even mention the quagmire in Afg.He turned a massive SURPLUS into the largest public debt in history. The estimated final cost of killing Saddam will be 3 to 4 tril. Figure the same for the folly in Afg. Here, I must say shame on Obama for continuing it.DONE
lol.....looking back on the BUSH YRS all i think about is HIS involvement and HIS cronies involvement with 911! Fucking prick should be strung up by his balls for starters and for the cunt Condeleza Rice, she is one lying bitch who should have her tong cut out and fed back to her!!!
ari just said that Saddam had something to do with the attack on 9 11 and the world is much better of with out him... true we are better off with out him but the fact still remains that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 911.
we were hit on 9 11 and not hit since...ari says, but since 911 was perpetrated by elements inside the bush administration, in-order to advance the neo-con agenda and the new world order, then it is not surprising that we weren't hit again.
What a cocky arrogant asshole---no surprise he worked for Bush. Saddam stirking who again? Iran? wouldnt that be in Us interest as it was in 1980s? And Fleischer should have been charged along w/ Scooter Libby in the CIA outing scandal---somehow he got immunity for his cooperation. Big man isnt he?
cut me a break...if u study that neocon doctrine" pnac" you will clearly see they(neocons) wanted to invade iraq years b4 9/11...as cheney admitted...then per condi rice bush get a briefing that he completely ignored..it was titled "bin laden determined to attack inside the united states" ! it outlined planes were involved! bush and his neocon pals sat back and did nothing..they let it happen so they would have their reason to invade iraq..some americans are so blinded by ignorance..its amazing
Muslims are throwing a big propaganda campaign spreading lies about 9/11 blaming everything on the US government, or the jews or the "illuminati". Idiotic. Its like letting the thief proof he is innocent by taking his words for it.
@FreedomResistance Sneaky Jew the Muslims are not doing any campaigns, watch "TERROR STORM 2ND EDITION" All conspiracies are done by the U.S and Europe and other countries except for Islamic countries because we dont care what yo think.LOL Dont bring your RACIST diseases from Israel to America or to the world. Everyone already knows you guys are racist and big manipulaters that sponsor the mass media to make Islam look evil when in fact its the most peace full religion on the face of the Earth.
@RB1US: Saddam Hussein did attack us, he tried to assasinate George H.W. Bush in Kuwait in 1993, his regime fired shots at our military aircraft for a decade as we enforced a no fly zone to prevent his criminal regime from commiting further acts of genocide against the oppressed Kurdish people. So, he is right, Saddam will not have the chance to do any of this again.
@athabascka-and that attempted assassination of Bush Sr was one of the reasons Bush Jr was so hot to invade. Twisted and selectively used intelligence info to make the case, and most of our Senators and Congressmen did not have the guts to stand up and demand more evidence.
@RB1US Yeah he did, and this interview was in 2009? They were warned in a briefing about who and how it might be done, then committed treason to start a conflict and that Patriot Act was snuck in....Talk about HOW DARE YOU!!.
@RB1US please, you know what he meant....he simply meant that we would be attacked again but this time by Saddam....not that Saddam would attack a second time!
I just think this is very insulting to about half the population of the country who are republicans. Republicans did not want 9/11 to happen, they were not hoping for something like 9/11 to happen. It was an atttack on all of us, not just democrats or republicans. Many people lost their lives. When intelligence comes in, you make decisions on what is a threat and what is not. What this is is monday morning quarterbacking. And keep in mind it was the left who made excuses for the terrorists.
@athabascka I wish I could get you past the VENEER of appearance that political party matters one bit. IT DOESN'T. But you cannot for the LIFE of you seem to get it. BUSH, and his chickenhawk administration, not the republican party, were AT FAULT here. It's just that simple.
Bush LIED when he said no one in his administration or the last considered crashing planes into buildings. THEY DRILLED THE MILITARY FOR THAT VERY THING, including WTC and the Pentagon. Not misspoke. Lied through his teeth
Go fuck yourself Chris Matthews. These types of partisans don't give two shits about our country and how it was attacked, they just want to blame the other side. Seriously, go fuck yourself.
Bush was GOV of Texas 44% of the entire nation's deathrow sentences are carried out in the state of TEXAS. He didnt care who it was , but somebody had to die regardless for 911 in his eyes. That is the mantality he has. And its fucked
@splicedenergy Bush, Chaney, Rumsfield, Rice and all the rest deserve to be in a BODY BAG, better yet, let lock that ALL up in one of the FEMA CAMPS, Lets put these facilities to good use and fill them all up with the members of the Illuminati and their family's!!!!!!!!
Ever notice how whenever Bush tries to talk with some humility, some insight and some 'compassion', all the words come out wrong and he starts making some of his famous 'gaffes', but when he talks about punishment and retribution, suddenly his English is impeccable? He does enjoy being a total mean, nasty vindictive little prick, doesn't he?
@splicedenergy A sheriff and a deputy from one of the counties in texas were convicted of water boarding an inmate. Guess who the Gov. was? I'll never call him or consider the ted haggard, jeff gannon cock sucking son of a bitch the president. The only office that we know he lawfully held was Gov. You can't convince me he wasn't getting blown, and since it so important, let's hire and spend millions of dollars on a special prosecutor. Outs a CIA agent and he wasn't water boarded.
"to date we have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States."
Page 66 of the 911 Commision and msnbc(.)msn(.)com/id/5223932/
9/11 Happened on Bush's watch. To any dimwit who lacks a calendar, access to the Congressional record, or the ability to see plain facts, 9/11/2001 was on Huckleberry's watch, when he spent 40-ish percent of his presidency on vacation.
But, I agree, he sure reacted like it wasn't his watch when it happened.
I'd love to read a chapter of "My Pet Goat" to all the Bush-mongers. I'd even help them with the big words.
@athabascka Excellent analysis. It's complete horseshit, but...really well explained and thought out. Here's a thought: could the administration have refused these guys passports based on the objections raised in our foreign embassies when they were clearly red flag apps?
Reading. It's what's for dinner.
I'm not a partisan, because I think the two-party system is a sham. Hello, new Transient Official, same as the old Transient Official.
They PREDICTED the attacks, by the way, and drilled.
@athabascka Just thought I'd clear up some 'crystal ball' mystery:
Operation Able Ready, on the trail of the specific alleged hijackers of 9/11 sent memos and intel directly to John Ashcroft on more than one occasion, and he REBUKED them for it. I know they were being really vague, because all they said was 'dangerous Saudi nationals trying to procure weapons, learn to fly planes, and getting DC and NY maps, and imminently going to attack'.
They COULD have done nothing? You mean they DID nothing
@OneVoiceMore: You cant blame the entire republican party for John Ashcroft. That is stupid, and those who do so are democrats who are VERY desperate to keep their power.
@athabascka I'm not into the delusion that one party differs one bit from the other.
Nor am I so chickenshitted as to think you can't blame the administration ON DUTY TO SECURE THE COUNTRY for the failures of MANY of their members, the president included.
I don't NEED to blame the entire republican party, nor did I. I blamed the top echelon failures, Bush, Ashcroft, Cheney and Rumsfeld, for their clear dereliction of duty.
@OneVoiceMore: I dont see any dereliction duty. The same logic would apply to FDR, that Pearl Harbor happened on his watch, statement which implies fault. It also holds a non-human standard for presidential administrations. If Al Gore had been president (as he should have been), it would have been on "his watch". If you had been president, it would have been on your watch. See? It doesnt matter who is president, it still would have happened.
@athabascka Goodness. I'll do some digging FOR you, but there's a very compelling case to be made that FDR performed a LIHOP on Pearl Harbor. Let It Happen On Purpose, to get us into WW2.
I disagree that it 'still would have happened'. With a less lax president, and less aggressive pre-existing desires for a reason to go into the Middle East, on the part of the highest tiers of the administration...who's to say?
You're not -explaining- this to me. You're justifying gross criminal negligence.
@athabascka If -I- had been president, or at least VICE president, the order would've gone out when the jet was still 50 miles out from the Pentagon. SHOOT IT DOWN. Cheney had his chance, as was testified to the 9/11 commission.
You seem like a nice guy, but until you've read the transcripts, and see CONSISTENTLY that everyone tells almost identical tales EXCEPT the administration, you see a pattern of ass-covering AT BEST, and outright lies, demonstrable lies, at worst.
@athabascka But, and this is not unique to the Republicans, although they've raised it to an art form, I can blame certain Republicans DIRECTLY for their own behavior. And when I do, inevitably, someone who is a lock-stock-and-barrel Republican will suggest that I do so for partisan reasons, rather than the real reason: I'm telling the truth.
9/11 happened on Bush's watch. It's just that simple, and Ari here is NUTS for saying Hussein won't get a chance to attack us "AGAIN".
@OneVoiceMore Ah bah, was responding on the wrong video thread with my last remark. Ignore the second paragraph, please, since I lack an edit function on YT.
@OneVoiceMore: I'm neither republican or democrat. I'm mostly a libertarian, although I am for both wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The problem with your proposition is that our elected leaders are just as human as any of us. When information is presented to us, we make choices with what we have, we make decisions according to the best of our ability. Had any official had enough information to prevent 9/11, it would have been prevented. The problem is now what we did know, it what we did not know.
@athabascka I politely differ on the level of pre-knowledge. There were specific warnings, about the specific hijackers under surveillance, specific alarms set off about flying planes, selecting target cities, and duly reported up the chain of command by the FBI to John Ashcroft.
Those agents of Able Ready and Able Danger were rebuked by Bush's administration, and had to turn 'whistle-blower' to get that fact out. The Bush camp strove to hide that.
@athabascka Are you really that stupid and naive. NORAD knew of hijacked planes being used as weapons before 9/11 then Bush goes on TV and says "how could anyone have known?". And you really can't be a libertarian and support the Iraq war. It's very contradictory.
@DJFG85: I'm a libertarian for all people, not just Americans. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a victory for the liberty of the Iraqi people and of enlightenment values over religious/primitive values. Now, do you mean to say that 9/11 would not have happened if Gore and the democrats were in power? That is very "stupid and naive".
@athabascka Religious/primitive values? Saddam was one of the first leaders of an Islamic country to ban sharia law and would eradicate any extremism in his country. His top prime minister was a Christian. Second, He increased the literacy rate of women to over 90%. And if he invaded Iraq "for freedom", why not North Korea which ACTUALLY HAS WMDs and has the capability to hit thousands of US troops in Asia. Why don't you ever read before commenting and looking like a total retard?
@DJFG85: I never made the claim that Hussein was a religious extremist. He was not a theocrat, he was a fascist dictator, and he was the worst dictator in the region. Committed genocide, invaded a UN member nation, harbored terrorists, used illegal weapons, and we could not be sure what weapons he still had. After Hussein was overthrown, we had trouble with an alliance between the fascist Hussein loyalists and the al Qaeda theocratic killers. (Continued...)
@DJFG85: You are right to say Saddam was not a religious fundamentalist, and he did increase literacy. But he always kept a tight grib of control over Iraqi society. It was his rejection of human rights and democracy which makes him primitive, so i defend that statement. I believe North Korea will be next. And please, dont use personal insults. It makes you look foolish. The word retard is offensive.
"911 happened on Bush's watch. Bush sat paralyzed reading a grade-school book when his JOB was to act like the commander in chief. Good fucking riddance to the worst president in history. Except for his dad."
Bush made it TWO TERMS. He drove loons like you out of your skulls. Obozo is already history, he will go down as the most inept President in the history of the United States.
This is hilarious. You're idolizing that stuttering moron? Just because he stutters a LITTLE less than you, and is only SLIGHTLY stupider...does not make him iconic. LOL.
You're cheering George Bush? George BUSH.
That really says it all.
By the way, read a HISTORY book. Pretty sure no matter what, Herbert Hoover is still considered the most inept president, but Bush will get his own chapter in that book.
LMAO, oh another conspiracy added to the silhouette loon job of America. You are the poster child for MOONBAT.
Yeah I know, Obozo is the greatest of all time. Barack Hussein Obama, yeah that says it all pom pom boy. Don't worry, you won't be snatched up by the Boogy man, if you get scared about your "Patriot Act" grab your son, he looks like he has more balls than you do.
Hey, maybe Bush was flying the planes! Or maybe he hired Elvis?
@topcat42 It's always interesting that right wing extremists feel the need to make fun of the President's name, as if that somehow adds credibilty to your arguement, when it actually does the opposite. No one needs to do that with George W Bush' s name, as it has become synonymous with the worst this country can produce. And while Goerge W Bush was not flying planes on 911, he did far more damage to this country than those terrorists ever could....
LOL you just did it with Bush. You cry like a girl when I said Barrack Hussein Obama . Barrack Obama (feel better) will go down as a worst one term president than Jimmy Carter and that's saying a lot. I am happy he won so people can see what really can happen if the wrong people are in charge.
@topcat42 I did what? I do feel better- if you have an arguement to make against the current administration, make the arguement. Calling Obama an insulting name won't help you in doing that. Looking at your posts here, I can't tell what they are. Please explain in detail why the Bush Administration was superior to the Obama Administration. Since many posters here (including myself) think you are just an Obama basher-prove us wrong by articulating your points
So calling Obama by his REAL name is insulting? When he was sworn in he was sworn in as Barrack Hussein Obama, was he being insulted?
I will be happy to educate you on Obama as soon as you explain how Bush did more damage to this country than the terrorists of 9/11. Articulate your points.
@topcat42 I was referring to your Obozo remark, but you knew that.
The terrorists can only commit mass murder. They cannot destroy our Democracy,Constitution and Economy in the same way that Bush did. If you do not agree that Bush did serious damage to the USA, you're not looking at the facts.
I have issues with several things Obama has done, but he is doing a far superior job than Bush. But- you are stating that he is the worst president in history-that's a big statement. Prove why.
Oh ok, yes Obozo is my little pet nickname for him. Did you go after people who were calling Bush little names or do you just have selective bashing? I didn't see you go after the guy in here who called Bushed (Nazi).
Oh, terrorists only commit mass murder. They can destroy the Economy and Democracy you you really should look at the facts. I know mass murder is just a silly thing to you but to many other Americans it is on the top of their list.
Obama has been in office for almost 20 months now and the unemployment rate is worse than when he took over. He has already quadrupled the deficit. Bush had over 50 consecutive months of job growth while he was President something no other prez before him has done. Obama has done nothing on illegal immigration except try to block moves by other states that are fed up. His Administration has done nothing but play the race card at every opportunity.
@topcat42 Well- Reagan did the same thing to the defecit . Bush 's job growth is shaky at best. I don't know anyone who has REALISTIC idea about illegal immegration reform. What do you propose?
@topcat42 Good God. This drivel is straight from the Limbaugh website.
Remember, Bush's unemployment statistic was a first in history, because it was the first time they stopped counting people who are no longer looking for jobs.
Put the rose-colored glasses down, pudgy.
I LOVE reading your drivel. Bush took a record surplus and turned it into a record deficit. BRILLIANT!
Well I'm happy to see that I am on your mind 24 hours a day, Gomer.
This is my favorite video of all time. Ari had Matthews not knowing what day it was. Anyone can see the beating Matthews took but hey I understand you can't, shit you can't even see the lashing I gave you out here.
Are you happy 9/11 happened while Bush was President, Gomer? Do you snap one out over it?
@topcat42 It's hilarious seeing someone out there who is SO BACKWARDS that up is down, ugly is a 'hunk of burning love', inarticulate nasal drivel is considered to be 'prose'.
Matthews BITCH-SLAPPED Ari, and so did the American public, for the overt lying, which you clearly admire.
At least you admit 911 was Bush's fault, at the very least. It outrages right-thinking people. He topcatted that one. Bad.
No thanks. If I wanted $50 from you, I'd just bone your wife again. She pays for strange.
He will be raising taxes in an economy that can't afford to have this done. His Government s growing by the day. He never closed guatanamo like he said, never got out of Iraq like he said, stimulus packages full of pork. As you are well aware his approval ratings have dropped over 30 points in 20 months, he is done and the next President (Romney) will quickly take charge and do what s right for this country.
@topcat42 Taxes need to be raised. He has not said he will do this to anyone other than the wealthy- but the reality is we will not get over this crisis without it- and could not have two years ago either. A Republican president will HAVE to in four years if Obama is out. I agree with you about Guantanamo and Iraq. The stimulus bill was unfortunate reaction to the crisis he walked into, and Congress screwed it up ,not him. but has had mosdest success.
I'm pretty damn sure President George W. Bush was the President on September 11, 2001. There was an August 6, 2001 memo that the Bush Administration had that detailed the very things that happened on September 11 the Bush Administration did nothing. They went after Al Queda by sending troops to Afghanistan then about a yr and a half later they scrapped that and created an unnecesary war in Iraq. Now Obama is stuck with the mess
So what. Presidents get memo's everyday. What was Bush suppose to do suspend flying? They never scrapped troops in Afghanistan, educate yourself before you come out here looking foolish.
@topcat42 LOL @ "what was bush suppose to do" gee I don't know, maybe detain/deport those who would later go on to carry out the attacks. And I think a memo detailing the biggest attack on US soil should be taken with a lot more seriousness. And they didn't scrap the afghanistan war but they made it secondary to the Iraq war, a war there was absolutely no reason for us to be involved in which allowed the Taliban to become stronger
Knock knock anyone home? Presidents get detailed memo's everyday of attacks. You think this was the first one??? If Bush would have detained these cowardly terrorists before the attacks, you loons would have been crying like girls about peoples rights, who you shitting? Well YOU said the scrapped the Afghanistan war, make up your mind. The Taliban is as weak as it has ever been, come on man wake up. Are you another loon like this guy in here who says 9/11 was an inside job?
@topcat42 Obviously I don't think 9/11 was an inside job since I said terrorists carried it out, I just said it was a tragedy that couldve been prevented if we didn't have incompetent leadership. I would love too see if you would give President Obama this much leeway if God Forbid the same thing happened under his watch. Doubt it considering all the noise the wingnuts make for the pettiest things he does. And the Taliban is much stronger than before thats why our troops are having trouble now
You bet I would give Obama leeway if we got attacked again. You see the difference between you and me is I blame the cowardly TERRORISTS when they attack, I don't blame the Government. The Taliban s much weaker now than it was before we went into Afghanistan, that's a fact.
Well I guess that proves 9/11 was an inside job since Bush was reading to school kids when terrorists flew planes into buildings. Loons are loons and you are a perfect example of that.
@topcat42 And you're just another example of an intellectual coward. If you can't put two and two together..."The country is under attack", and Bush just SITS there, and what any credible attorney could do with 'mens re' (look it up) is cast reasonable suspicion on Bush for foreknowledge. I never claimed that one single fact 'proves' 9/11 was an inside job. You have to do a little more mental exercise than that. Oh, and don't twist the facts: Bush was sitting on his ass AFTER someone attacked.
Oh should Bush have grabbed his gun and ran outside of theclass room with guns blazing? Or was he flying the planes and that was his double in the class Room?
@topcat42 This is what you call a RESPONSE? No, what Bush should have done immediately after hearing the quote, "The country is under attack" is exactly what any idiot redneck should have done. Sit there and listen to children with higher reading skills demonstrate their abilities.
Are you SERIOUSLY defending his ineptitude and paralysis?
Good God, does your wife know you're his little bitch?
Screw Chris Mathewes. It's all fine and well that he's critical of dubya on Obama's watch, but where was that criticism WHEN DUBYA WAS PRESIDENT????????????
The answere is that he was more concerned about his paycheck than reporting important news that Americans needed to know. Reporting things 8 years late is worthless.
1. I'm not crying. Bush dropped the ball...quite possible on purpose with treasonous intention. I'm FURIOUS about that.
2. If an attack occurs on Obama's watch, it occurs on his watch, and AFTER 9/11, he's even more culpable, since we've already been attacked on home soil twice.
3. Hating a bad president does not make one an automatic fanboy of the opposition party's candidate. Bush was a criminal, a treasonous one.
Obama is just another propped up transient official.
@OneVoiceMore 1. Oh no, not another 9/11 was an inside job! You are a loon and a moonbat and I am FURIOUS about that.
2. If another attack happens in the next couple of years I won't be blaming the sitting President, I will be blaming the cowardly terrorists and I certainly wouldn't be a complete imbecile and say Obama let it happen.
3. You can hate all you want but when you imply that Bush was in om 9/11 well that just makes you a crackpot.
1. Get a grip on yourself. Do you seriously have no idea how many LIHOPs and disinfo triggers America has used to launch wars? Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin...get a grip. Sheeple get all ass-hurt when they learn their heroes are the worst of villains. You'll get over it...when you wake up.
2. You'll spew whatever the GOP propaganda machine tells you to.
3. If Bush wasn't IN ON it, there is no doubt AT ALL that he cynically and illegally used it as an excuse to GUT this country's...
...most sacred principles and founding document. Patriot Act my ass. Bush is a Fascist, and you need to wake the hell up. I don't say Obama is any different. The presidency is a puppet show.
Not one terrorist in the world scares me more than the current trends in this country toward clearly observable fascist machinations. Warrantless searches? President with the sole power to name 'enemy combatants'? Torture?
What exactly are you defending? BUSH? His POLICIES?
...disappointingly underinformed little mouthpiece, and defending Bush, his Father, his Nazi-supporting grandfather or their impact on this country's freedoms and reputation is NOT something a genuine patriot would defend.
I hope your conscience wins the battle over your ego.
... in their rooms. Heaven forbid if a bug is thrown in their cell, loons like you cry bloody murder. Heaven forbid if we make the lives of known terrorists that masterminded 9/11 uncomfortable because moonbats like you will feel sorry for the poor terrorists.Bush won 2 terms as President because people knew in 2004 that he was doing the right thing, deal with it chump. He will never be charged, he is a millionaire living happily ever after , deal with it chump.
@topcat42 You're so full of shit you squeak, Fascist. I stay here because REAL patriots stay and change the wrongs. Fascists cheerlead torture and warrentless searches, and torture (waterboarding), you silly little Elizabeth Hasselback. You condone TORTURE, and you make a case that they're alive now and that makes it okay. You sorta forget we got NO NEW INFORMATION out of them by torturing.
I'll stay right here and kick your Nazi asses. THAT'S American, but you wouldn't understand that.
You're such a Rosie O'donnel. You stay here because you collect welfare and live off this country that you trash. Get the fuck out if you hate it so much, pussy. Well explain to me what is torture? We got all kinds og info from these hero's of yours, including attacks that were prevented. You couldn't kick the ass of a fly you far left loony joke.
Ouch fascist is really hurting me.Oh boy now you are challenging me to a fight? Not I'm right here in Leominster Massachusetts tough internet warrior. Give me your phone# and I will call you right now tough guy. Hurry up.
Hey tough internet warrior. You challenged me out here , you said you would love a "visit from me" so that either means you are a homo or are looking for a fight. I told you where I am internet warrior now you want more info? Don't start something you can't follow through with, sunshine. Talk is cheap.
@topcat42 Wait, Bush won two terms? In what lalaland? Oh, wait...you think he was ELECTED. Heh. Dipshit. Yes, he's an impervious millionaire who will never serve the life sentence he deserves, I agree. This country isn't about justice, or truth, and on that I agree with you. It's about the rich absolutely corrupting any reality of law, and smirking at people. I can deal with that. I can deal with their little frilly cheerleaders, too, RahRah.
But I won't hide behind soundbytes and say it's okay
Aww jealous of the people that made in life loser? Listen loon, get off your lazy ass and stop blaming the United States for why you can't make it in life.
@topcat42 Not at all. I'm doing just fine, and yes, I'll take fries with that, Zeke. Thing is, I believe in an old concept that eludes Nazis. I believe wealth should not be a shield from justice. I'll say it in smaller words. You're the bad guy. You're the problem.
@topcat42 Of course you're not rich. I never for a moment thought you were. You're also not educated, so please don't 'clear that one up' for me, either.
What you do is nothing about discussion. If someone disagrees with your idol, the lowest Bush primate, you get all butt-hurt and start spewing bile and venom. Where you come from, that passes for 'patriotism'.
You're clearly obsessed with making sure you discredit me BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. Which means I got under your thin skin. You lose.
Sorry loony tunes but I gave back what you dished out and then you were so flustered after the ass kicking I gave you out here that you challenged me to pay you a visit, lol. Take your beating like a man if you are one. You can trash the country all you want, It's your right but I will certainly expose you for the fraud that you are in the process.
@topcat42 Which makes you ant-food, parasite. I realize you need, and I do mean NEED to constantly shore up your flagging ego by declaring MAJOR VICTORIES daily. Me? I think you're hilariously cute. You've been a very good little pet monkey, and I've enjoyed your antics.
Hey, here's an original thought...call me emasculating names! Oh, wait...that's all you've got in your purse.
@topcat42 What is it with you feminizing males and all the constant bed references? Can you not HEAR your latency? It's all right, Pumpkin. I'm secure in my sexuality, and you decidedly need an orientation anchor.
I'll do my best, but your case seems pretty deep-seated. And it's okay that you never served your country a day in your life, chickenhawk. You're protecting Western Civilization on YouTube, and a lot of....people...really need that.
Here we go again, Gomer Pyle at his best. Golllly Gomer, Shazaaam! You really need to find yourself a wife Gomer. How come at your age you're not married? The only way you would be able to serve in the military would be through the don't ask don't tell program. Now hit the floor and give me 50!
@topcat42 You're hilarious. Your psychic routine falls way short of ... well... anything. What I haven't done is wave my peepee around to prove my manhood, or presume that being married means anything more than some blowhard on YouTube SAYS he's married (the ultimate gay man's cover story...if it's true).
Gays in the military? All of them more of a man than you. Every single one of them.
You shouldn't hate the people who give you your rights. YOU clearly don't defend them. You abuse them. Fool
You don't have a pee pee, you have a clit clit. Well glad to see you come out of the closet, you are making progress. There's nothing wrong with you being a fag in the military, embrace it.
Well loon, if you areso scared of this country what the hell are you still doing here? Why don't you move to Iran or Afghanistan amongst your people where you will feel safer? Oh poor baby crying about waterboarding being torture? 3 people were waterboarded who are still as healthy as they were before they were poured water on. It saved American lives but I'm sure you could care less about that, you are more concerned that the terrorists have air conditioning and televisions...
@topcat42 I love this particular bit of Fascism: "If you don't like this country, leave!" It's the sort of neo-patriotic soundbyte cowardice that would've had us still fleeing British subjugation, that is, if the real heroes were like YOU.
I'll be right here, right up until the good guys win or lose. Hint: You're not one of the good guys.
The parallels between 1930 Germany and this country are undeniable. But that would require you to do some actual reading. So put down My Pet Goat, genius.
Tes you will be right here crying like a bitch about the poor terrorists while hiding under your bed. You're not a good guy, shit I doubt you are even a GUY. Your hero is probably Keith Olbermann. Of course you will never leave the country you trash because you know you could never make it anywhere else.
@topcat42 Good god, does this pass for conversation in your part of the trailer park? I absolutely believe the CRIMINALS responsible for 9/11 should be lined up and shot on national TV. Bush dropped THAT ball, too, and all of his ass-licking fanboys make excuses for the weakest commander in chief the US has ever had.
By the way, I think Bush is one who should be lined up and shot.
One of the fun things about traveling abroad is realizing what dipshits most Americans are. We trail the WORLD...
@OneVoiceMore ...in education (thank you for your poignant proof of that), health care, and we are selling our real estate faster than your mom does crackheads.
It's PAINFULLY obvious you've never left this country, or for that matter, your county in Alabama, or you'd realize that American arrogance, not SUPERIORITY, comes mostly from those who have zero clue what the world is like.
I'll stay here and fight. YOU NEED ME TO, since you haven't the moral fiber or courage to do so yourself.
Oh boy, mommy jokes now? Can the fag jokes be far behind? You couldn't fight your way out of a bag. You sit behind your computer screen scared shitless to show yourself while you trash the country that you could never leave because you couldn't survive anywhere else.
@topcat42 Oh, but wait, YOU'RE the tough guy. Everyone who disagrees with you is a woman (misogynist much?), or a loon. You're clearly fat, underemployed, abusive of your wife, and unable to hold a civil discourse with anyone outside of...who? Rush Limbaugh?
You're clearly a little bed wetter since you wouldn't show yourself out here if your life depended on it. You came out here full of piss and vinegar and when I gave it back to you you challenged me to a fight but of course ran and hid under your bed afterwords. I'll tell you what, you say I am fat, wife beater blah blah blah. How about we have a live video debate and let's see who the fat one is. You in or out tough internet warrior?
I know you NEED to think I'm somehow afraid of you, and I'm sorry for your insecurities. I do think you're an intellectual inferior, and a moral coward, but what's on your mind?

Obama had to think for DAYS to shoot the pirates holding hostages. Most of the most wanted top leadership was shot or captured during Bush's time in office. I know the truth hurts you ass munch, but there it is.

Remember one of George W. Bush's campaign ads in 2000? He said he would keep us safe from terrorist attacks. Interesting how that was one of his main campaign promises.
What was the campaign promise for Barack Obama? The economy.
Seems like they do the opposite of what they promise, every time. So if you hear a candidate saying he will destroy the economy, never bring the troops home, and get terrorists to attack us, maybe we should vote for that candidate.
rainstormseattle 4 months ago 2
Lol...kept us safe...I feel less safe now than I did before 9/11. We have troops in 120+ different countries.
Technically, we did get attacked on our watch during 9/11, because we were um...watching it happen and the government did a great job of acting like ants in molasses. Now if someone is making out in a bathroom with another person for two long fighter jets will intercept the flight after like 10 minutes.
Regardless of what you think happened on 9/11, the government FAILED miserably.

He should report to the nearest playground so the 6th graders could punch some sense into his head....Figuratively, speaking.

What did Clinton do when Al Qaida struck the Cole? Sent the friggin' FBI instead of the full force of the US military which would have prevented 9/11! But hey, let's blame Bush just for the hell of it and on and on....

It was an atttack on all of us, not just democrats or republicans. Many people lost their lives. When intelligence comes in, you make decisions on what is a threat and what is not.

@athabascka What about the report that said Bin Laden determined to hijack planes and fly them into buildings delivered on August 9th?
sexyfoxx86 1 year ago
@athabascka Just thought I'd clear up some 'crystal ball' mystery:
Operation Able Ready, on the trail of the specific alleged hijackers of 9/11 sent memos and intel directly to John Ashcroft on more than one occasion, and he REBUKED them for it. I know they were being really vague, because all they said was 'dangerous Saudi nationals trying to procure weapons, learn to fly planes, and getting DC and NY maps, and imminently going to attack'.
They COULD have done nothing? You mean they DID nothing
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago
@OneVoiceMore: You cant blame the entire republican party for John Ashcroft. That is stupid, and those who do so are democrats who are VERY desperate to keep their power.
athabascka 1 year ago
@athabascka I'm not into the delusion that one party differs one bit from the other.
Nor am I so chickenshitted as to think you can't blame the administration ON DUTY TO SECURE THE COUNTRY for the failures of MANY of their members, the president included.
I don't NEED to blame the entire republican party, nor did I. I blamed the top echelon failures, Bush, Ashcroft, Cheney and Rumsfeld, for their clear dereliction of duty.
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago
@OneVoiceMore: I dont see any dereliction duty. The same logic would apply to FDR, that Pearl Harbor happened on his watch, statement which implies fault. It also holds a non-human standard for presidential administrations. If Al Gore had been president (as he should have been), it would have been on "his watch". If you had been president, it would have been on your watch. See? It doesnt matter who is president, it still would have happened.
athabascka 1 year ago
@athabascka Goodness. I'll do some digging FOR you, but there's a very compelling case to be made that FDR performed a LIHOP on Pearl Harbor. Let It Happen On Purpose, to get us into WW2.
I disagree that it 'still would have happened'. With a less lax president, and less aggressive pre-existing desires for a reason to go into the Middle East, on the part of the highest tiers of the administration...who's to say?
You're not -explaining- this to me. You're justifying gross criminal negligence.
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago
@athabascka If -I- had been president, or at least VICE president, the order would've gone out when the jet was still 50 miles out from the Pentagon. SHOOT IT DOWN. Cheney had his chance, as was testified to the 9/11 commission.
You seem like a nice guy, but until you've read the transcripts, and see CONSISTENTLY that everyone tells almost identical tales EXCEPT the administration, you see a pattern of ass-covering AT BEST, and outright lies, demonstrable lies, at worst.
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago
@athabascka But, and this is not unique to the Republicans, although they've raised it to an art form, I can blame certain Republicans DIRECTLY for their own behavior. And when I do, inevitably, someone who is a lock-stock-and-barrel Republican will suggest that I do so for partisan reasons, rather than the real reason: I'm telling the truth.
9/11 happened on Bush's watch. It's just that simple, and Ari here is NUTS for saying Hussein won't get a chance to attack us "AGAIN".

The problem is now what we did know, it what we did not know.
athabascka 1 year ago
@athabascka I politely differ on the level of pre-knowledge. There were specific warnings, about the specific hijackers under surveillance, specific alarms set off about flying planes, selecting target cities, and duly reported up the chain of command by the FBI to John Ashcroft.
Those agents of Able Ready and Able Danger were rebuked by Bush's administration, and had to turn 'whistle-blower' to get that fact out. The Bush camp strove to hide that.
HIGHLY preventable, with just five arrests.
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago
@athabascka Are you really that stupid and naive. NORAD knew of hijacked planes being used as weapons before 9/11 then Bush goes on TV and says "how could anyone have known?". And you really can't be a libertarian and support the Iraq war. It's very contradictory.
DJFG85 1 year ago
@DJFG85: I'm a libertarian for all people, not just Americans. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a victory for the liberty of the Iraqi people and of enlightenment values over religious/primitive values. Now, do you mean to say that 9/11 would not have happened if Gore and the democrats were in power? That is very "stupid and naive".
athabascka 1 year ago
@athabascka Religious/primitive values? Saddam was one of the first leaders of an Islamic country to ban sharia law and would eradicate any extremism in his country. His top prime minister was a Christian. Second, He increased the literacy rate of women to over 90%. And if he invaded Iraq "for freedom", why not North Korea which ACTUALLY HAS WMDs and has the capability to hit thousands of US troops in Asia. Why don't you ever read before commenting and looking like a total retard?
DJFG85 1 year ago
@DJFG85: I never made the claim that Hussein was a religious extremist. He was not a theocrat, he was a fascist dictator, and he was the worst dictator in the region. Committed genocide, invaded a UN member nation, harbored terrorists, used illegal weapons, and we could not be sure what weapons he still had. After Hussein was overthrown, we had trouble with an alliance between the fascist Hussein loyalists and the al Qaeda theocratic killers. (Continued...)
athabascka 1 year ago
@DJFG85: You are right to say Saddam was not a religious fundamentalist, and he did increase literacy. But he always kept a tight grib of control over Iraqi society. It was his rejection of human rights and democracy which makes him primitive, so i defend that statement. I believe North Korea will be next. And please, dont use personal insults. It makes you look foolish. The word retard is offensive.
athabascka 1 year ago
Worth repeating, for the slowcoaches.
"911 happened on Bush's watch. Bush sat paralyzed reading a grade-school book when his JOB was to act like the commander in chief. Good fucking riddance to the worst president in history. Except for his dad."

Bush made it TWO TERMS. He drove loons like you out of your skulls. Obozo is already history, he will go down as the most inept President in the history of the United States.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 HE defrauded one term.
Patriot Act. Nuff said.
Nazis lost once. ;)

Or maybe he hired Elvis?
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 It's always interesting that right wing extremists feel the need to make fun of the President's name, as if that somehow adds credibilty to your arguement, when it actually does the opposite. No one needs to do that with George W Bush' s name, as it has become synonymous with the worst this country can produce. And while Goerge W Bush was not flying planes on 911, he did far more damage to this country than those terrorists ever could....
casadyrocks 1 year ago
@casadyrocks
LOL you just did it with Bush. You cry like a girl when I said Barrack Hussein Obama . Barrack Obama (feel better) will go down as a worst one term president than Jimmy Carter and that's saying a lot. I am happy he won so people can see what really can happen if the wrong people are in charge.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 I did what? I do feel better- if you have an arguement to make against the current administration, make the arguement. Calling Obama an insulting name won't help you in doing that. Looking at your posts here, I can't tell what they are. Please explain in detail why the Bush Administration was superior to the Obama Administration. Since many posters here (including myself) think you are just an Obama basher-prove us wrong by articulating your points
casadyrocks 1 year ago
@casadyrocks
So calling Obama by his REAL name is insulting? When he was sworn in he was sworn in as Barrack Hussein Obama, was he being insulted?
I will be happy to educate you on Obama as soon as you explain how Bush did more damage to this country than the terrorists of 9/11. Articulate your points.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 I was referring to your Obozo remark, but you knew that.
The terrorists can only commit mass murder. They cannot destroy our Democracy,Constitution and Economy in the same way that Bush did. If you do not agree that Bush did serious damage to the USA, you're not looking at the facts.
I have issues with several things Obama has done, but he is doing a far superior job than Bush. But- you are stating that he is the worst president in history-that's a big statement. Prove why.
casadyrocks 1 year ago
@casadyrocks

His Administration has done nothing but play the race card at every opportunity.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 Well- Reagan did the same thing to the defecit . Bush 's job growth is shaky at best. I don't know anyone who has REALISTIC idea about illegal immegration reform. What do you propose?

@topcat42 Good God. This drivel is straight from the Limbaugh website.
Remember, Bush's unemployment statistic was a first in history, because it was the first time they stopped counting people who are no longer looking for jobs.

He will be raising taxes in an economy that can't afford to have this done. His Government s growing by the day. He never closed guatanamo like he said, never got out of Iraq like he said, stimulus packages full of pork. As you are well aware his approval ratings have dropped over 30 points in 20 months, he is done and the next President (Romney) will quickly take charge and do what s right for this country.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 Taxes need to be raised. He has not said he will do this to anyone other than the wealthy- but the reality is we will not get over this crisis without it- and could not have two years ago either. A Republican president will HAVE to in four years if Obama is out. I agree with you about Guantanamo and Iraq. The stimulus bill was unfortunate reaction to the crisis he walked into, and Congress screwed it up ,not him. but has had mosdest success.
casadyrocks 1 year ago
I'm pretty damn sure President George W. Bush was the President on September 11, 2001. There was an August 6, 2001 memo that the Bush Administration had that detailed the very things that happened on September 11 the Bush Administration did nothing. They went after Al Queda by sending troops to Afghanistan then about a yr and a half later they scrapped that and created an unnecesary war in Iraq. Now Obama is stuck with the mess
hitmanhart670 1 year ago
@hitmanhart670
So what. Presidents get memo's everyday. What was Bush suppose to do suspend flying? They never scrapped troops in Afghanistan, educate yourself before you come out here looking foolish.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 LOL @ "what was bush suppose to do" gee I don't know, maybe detain/deport those who would later go on to carry out the attacks. And I think a memo detailing the biggest attack on US soil should be taken with a lot more seriousness. And they didn't scrap the afghanistan war but they made it secondary to the Iraq war, a war there was absolutely no reason for us to be involved in which allowed the Taliban to become stronger
hitmanhart670 1 year ago
@hitmanhart670
Are you another loon like this guy in here who says 9/11 was an inside job?
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 Obviously I don't think 9/11 was an inside job since I said terrorists carried it out, I just said it was a tragedy that couldve been prevented if we didn't have incompetent leadership. I would love too see if you would give President Obama this much leeway if God Forbid the same thing happened under his watch. Doubt it considering all the noise the wingnuts make for the pettiest things he does. And the Taliban is much stronger than before thats why our troops are having trouble now
hitmanhart670 1 year ago
@hitmanhart670
You bet I would give Obama leeway if we got attacked again. You see the difference between you and me is I blame the cowardly TERRORISTS when they attack, I don't blame the Government. The Taliban s much weaker now than it was before we went into Afghanistan, that's a fact.
topcat42 1 year ago
I'll dare it. 9/11 happened on Bush's watch. AS it was happening, he was reading a grade-school book and sitting on his ass.
Facts are facts.
OneVoiceMore 1 year ago 2
@OneVoiceMore
Well I guess that proves 9/11 was an inside job since Bush was reading to school kids when terrorists flew planes into buildings. Loons are loons and you are a perfect example of that.
topcat42 1 year ago
@topcat42 And you're just another example of an intellectual coward. If you can't put two and two together..."The country is under attack", and Bush just SITS there, and what any credible attorney could do with 'mens re' (look it up) is cast reasonable suspicion on Bush for foreknowledge. I never claimed that one single fact 'proves' 9/11 was an inside job. You have to do a little more mental exercise than that. Oh, and don't twist the facts: Bush was sitting on his ass AFTER someone attacked.

2. If an attack occurs on Obama's watch, it occurs on his watch, and AFTER 9/11, he's even more culpable, since we've already been attacked on home soil twice.

@OneVoiceMore

@topcat42 What's on your mind? You want video?
I know you NEED to think I'm somehow afraid of you, and I'm sorry for your insecurities. I do think you're an intellectual inferior, and a moral coward, but what's on your mind?
Video debate of an actual TOPIC?
