  • The hochmaumusar.blogspot isn't available :(

  • @DoodiePunk Sorry, I don't write on that blog anymore. The videos have taken the place of the written blog.

  • I really enjoy your "shiur", bravo!

  • @cursodearameo Thanks. I am glad.

  • Very informative. Todah rabah!

  • @YisraelOrBust No problem.

  • "Maghrebim" is not a valid division

Most Moroccans are Sephardim, especially in the north and their former toungue was Haketiya (Judeo-Andalusian Spanish)

In the South you had Berber-Jews, Central Moroccans are a mixture of both but culturally Sephardisized

  • Maghrebim is a valid division for SOME North African Jews. This is especially true of the Mountain Jews who were there prior to the Jews from Al-Andalus. Also the berbert Jews predate the Sephardi title. It simply depends on when they arrived in Morocco. Besides all the designations are of a new nature are flawed since even the word Sephard originally denoted Spain and Portugal.

  • get with the program we are the real people of isreal shalom alechem

  • I agree that all that exists now are approximations. My belief is that there were always more than one dialect.

  • Thanks.
