  • What if it lands on a baby stroller being pushed by a robber who stole the stroller without a baby in it. And when the lantern lands, it lands on the robber's right hand which he is using to push the stroller and his hand is severely burned. What it that night the robber intended on burglarizing a residence and planned on shooting everyone inside if they resisted. What if the robber is right handed and now, after having his right hand burned, he is unable to commit the burglary and possibly tur

  • @MrJuanin1845 How would the world be different if you hadn't even been born?

  • THEY DID THIS LAST NIGHT IN PUERTO RICO

  • You could have saved it till' night time....

  • Show this to these ufo nuts

  • Will it cause forest fires?

  • in the UK 2:99 for 5 from QD lol bargin

  • before i light my fuel cell, i PREHEAT my sky lantern with a simple propane torch until it starts to float then i light my fuel cell so it can gain more altitude beside wasting 1 minute of burntime from the fuel cell, it works great

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf i'l be reminded of that advise,, :)

  • I wonder how far these can travel?

  • @UltraXryder, it depends on the outside temperatures, i let mine go and it traveled from gas city indiana ALMOST to my house, it landed 1/2 miles from my house, 7 miles traveled, and it was warm outside too, read the comment i posted on how i got mine to traveled farther without wasting the burntime on the balloon's fuel cell

  • Isn't this a fire hazard? It will fall on a roof of a house and burn it.

  • @Critique808, not really, once it runs out of fuel cell, it will drop down safety, not a fire hazard

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf good idea on the preheating.....and good luck making ppl understand that it's safe if done right. I can't get ppl to grasp that it simply cannot come back down and catch their grass on fire.

  • legal

  • wow, is perfect.

  • those thinges ar banned in holland beacaus farms were set up in fire in our coutry

  • @flevolaan4

I bet it was because a clueless farmer as well, seeing over 100 children dies on farms each year so safety isn't there highest prioritizes from what it seems(the fuel only burn for 10minutes in lanterns which also give away the clue), there are also biodegradable lanterns to buy so check them out as well.

  • we need a bio degradable lantern

  • I wonder could I sew these by myself. What's the thing they burn inside the lantern?

And what if I tie a string to the lantern so it won't fly away and set anything fire?

  • @HighestHopes And now I noticed there's a tutorial how to make these from paper, lol.

  • They go to see god

  • The Maritime and Coastguard Agency says coastguards and lifeboats are sent out needlessly. In 2010 the agency recorded 1,500 flare incidents, of which 500 were believed to be false alarms caused by lanterns, while the CAA says they also pose danger to landing aircraft.

  • Crops are also at risk; last summer in Oxfordshire, a blaze from a lantern destroyed 2.5 hectares of barley. Litter is also a problem, said the NFU: "The people releasing lanterns wouldn't dream of dumping rubbish, but that's what is happening."

  • Civil Aviation Authority wants a ban on the sale of the sky lanterns, which are paper and wire hot air balloons fuelled by a naked flame. "People have no control where they land," said Nick von Westenholz, government affairs adviser for the NFU. Dorset and Somerset fire service said it had seen a sharp increase in lantern fires in the past year. Farmers say cows suffer stomach damage from eating the wire of fallen lanterns.

  • Flying lanterns are fun.

  • The guy with the white shirt has a huge nose :)

  • what if it lands on a forest a tree or some bush FIRE!!! :P im not shure if i shud trow a flote on christmas eve

  • @minsymp yeah his rigt what if it land in the forest : o that will be chaos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RHINO647 actually these things continue to go up until the fire stops and the fuel diminishes

  • it look like ufos

  • i did one yesterday and it caught on fire and landed in a bush

    they are deadly

  • Sadly, those lanterns aren't allowed in Germany anymore.

    It's too dangerous.

They light up and catch fire... They've burned down some houses around here. :/

  • is it just me, or does this look like a really bad, dangerous idea lol?

  • @PostTheMissing Personally think it's insane. On the way home from our yearly firework fun on Friday, I saw a dead one lying right on the ROAD. Just think about the consequences...

  • @PostTheMissing

    dont no,,ask your mammy

  • do they ever turn into a flaming ball of death, plummeting through the sky until landing on a group of disabled blind kids on a field trip trying to cross a busy street?? Seems like it could happen

  • The song is "Llorando" by Curandero. It is on "Flamenco Passion".

  • 1st sept u k do it

  • this can burn others homes

  • Is that a helicopter at 2:04?

  • @sweetdictator

    its a flag

  • does its sometimes catch fire?

  • @nfig09 most lanterns are coated with a flame retardant spray these days.

  • Such a beautiful song. What is it?

  • ALE KURDE GOWNO

  • I don't get it....

  • I always wondered if the fire wears out before it lands because those things look like potential forest fire starters

not saying that they're not awesome

  • @Lovesgoats Yeah it burns out then it does not get any hot air wich keeping it up and falls down.

  • Comment removed

  • kool vid

  • wow what keeps them up is it a special gas

  • @fabfabregas1 no, the little flames heat up the air inside the balloon, and hot air is lighter than cool air, so it makes the lantern light enough to fly. works like hot air balloons.

  • @fabfabregas1

The hot air keeps them up, nothing special gas

  • i had one for my birthday, but not has good has these

  • 1,50$

  • Comment removed

  • You can get them from Amazon in the UK easily

  • I like the purple and green ones.

  • Brilliant! Are they paper or plastic? where are you based, got any stockist in UK? and how much would they be?

  • Paper with oil

  • Some kids launched one of those in my neighborhood when I was young. There was too much wind and the balloon was tilted sideways, the whole thing caught on fire and landed on my parents house; it burned the house to the ground : (

  • did they live in a house of straw?

  • What... even if that thing caught fire, what was you parents hose made of? Straw?

  • @eqtworld hahahaahah!

serves them right for living in a straw house :)

  • What is the song called please ?

  • when they let the sky laterns go, do they come back cause if not aint that a waste of money.

  • Well, they are only balloons, they cost anywhere from 3 dollars each, to 25 cents each. So they arent a great loss. Some people track them and catch them. Small tethers can be made to keep them in small yards.

  • LOL??? 25 cents? where did you dinf it on 25 Cents? O_o

  • home made probably or else he is talking random shit

  • @cograilfan they're actually really easy to make. and really common in taiwan, where they're from, so they're actually cheap enough there to plausibly be 25 cents.

  • THE BRAZIL BALOON!!! LINK: PIÃO 6 TMT

  • art,,..pura...ak é brasil...só eu

  • they fall in the sea and choke a turtle

  • actually ive never had the problem of chocking on cock fortunately, never having placed one in my mouth eradcates this danger.

  • OMG! LOL dont say that!!! now im not going to do one hahaha

  • We love our SkyLanterns!

Thanks so much for the prompt holiday delivery and excellent product. All our friends will be ordering more soon!!

    Happy Holidays.

  • Mufon sells them on their website ;)

  • I thought the exact same thing. First I was thinking it might be cool sending some off from here (live at top floor and have roof access in middle of town) but then started wondering about the safety?

Whats the risk and countermeasures involved?

Not long ago we had a major forrest fire too close for comfort, could easily be set off by something like this.

What happens if a bird or something else damages the hull? How hot does the fuel burn? How long?

    What about airports/planes?

  • @james58390 u said this on other vids u fucking retard piss ur boring

  • @james58390, Ah screw you, you think fireworks are much safer? your retarded.

  • Google :)

    Type: "Himmelslaternen" (for Germans)

    or "Skylaterns" (for other...)

  • its like a ballon but better
