@pinoko1311 It actually means Free Tango...Piazzolla wanted to free Tango from too much tradition, or you can also say Freedom Tango. Libertad in Spanish means Freedom in English.

one possible explanation is cause Astor was a truly reformer....and created a new (and maybre free) style of tango....was a point of inflexion for this argentinian music...

This is the best dancing I have seen on the net. So fluid and your movements match each other. I was a gymnast for years and I know that the grace and balance must meet each other to do a performence like this one. I was pulling my thigh and pointing my toes throughout the whole vid. I agree. I want to see the legwork. But that's the videographer's idiocy,not the dancers.

I don't like this arrangement of Libertango—the drums are too strong and dominant, and that takes away from the smooth and sensuous qualityof the piece, and distracts from the dancers.

I also think her dress is too short. Distracting.

I don't understand the need to use "Argentine" in the title... There truly is NO OTHER TANGO than ARGENTINE TANGO... Anything unlike the ORIGINAL Tango which was BORN and RAISED in Argentina, is simply NOT Tango... it's a copy.

There should be no need to distinguish this as Argentine... this, is REAL TANGO, period.

Judging from the footwork, they must have worked together a lot and practiced a lot too.

Thoughout the whole dance, their footwork looked like a weave, and I could see that if there was a misstep, then one of them would have tripped. Simply fantastic, I must start learning the tango as soon as possible!
