Nice job! Its sound like your giving full negative on the power down. Are you using throttle hold or the stick to power down? If you are using the throttle stick you may want to change your "pitch curve". You want to try and achieve about -1 or -2 degrees of negative pitch with the throttle stick all the way down in "normal mode" not Idle 1 or 2. You can do the same or "throttle hold" as well with a little more pitch from -1 to -4. I prefer to use "Hold" to power down.
Hey gmodesike recomended to be a gyro for 50 sized are from fatuba 401- fatuba 611 gyro the fatuba 611 is the best choice and is amazing hold for fast 3d back werids flights hope this helps.

Usually a heli like this runs about $1800-$2200 dollars fully equipped depending on what servos ,gyro, battery ect... you buy.

you need to fine tune the subtrims on the aile and elevators to dead centre and you get a more centred lift and hover
