  • detail explanation.

  • It sickens me that the republicans are wanting to take away my healthcare!!!! Racist repubs just want to take the money and give it to the wealthy!!! Repubs hate the poor, repubs hate Blacks, and the poor!!!!

  • @groundhog2008 I am a Independant and I vote most of the time with Repbulicans. The reason why you are having an issue understanding why other people do not want to pay for others abortions with their tax money is beyond me. Why is it that you want others to pay for murder? Why is it that you want our tax dollards to be prooped up and used as a slush fund. Not to mention the consul of end of life decisions from the doctors. I can hardly expect you to actually read it.

  • Universal Healthcare is NOT the answer to increasing worker productivity.

As a country, we already can't pay for the bankrupt Social Security System, so dreams of a universal healthcare system are just that: dreams.

Additionally, the proposed Universal system would ultimately lead to poorer service as the free market would be absolved and a bureaucracy implemented. Also removed would be personal accountability for those who need medical treatment due to poor life choices.

  • i say disable health care and save yourself 3minutes

  • Mr Dale,

If Mr Obama wants people to be able to live independently, he has to stop the vaccine manufacturers from causing autism. Those people must be institutionalized for their own safety and can never live independently.

Mr Obama could cure most autistic people and prevent them from being institutionalized if he would simply allow people like me to explain to him how to cure it.

  • Economically speaking a 1 billion dollar war boat that sinks is a billion dollars in the trash (-labour pay, -operator pay assuming he survives). Investments in the health and education of the masses will yield the safest, and most qualified generations of workers in all the aforementioned fields. For this reason, I believe my country is the greatest at present; however, the USA is, in potentia(potentially realizable), the greatest country that has ever been.

  • The U.S.A has a rich research history, cutting edge legal system, intricate business models, technological production and development, and innovative cultural/artistic production. They are one of the biggest economic and military power at the very least in the Americas. With so much going for them, an investment in education and healthcare would bring astronomical implications for the entire world.

  • Universal healthcare and education are the only points where I think Canada is doing better than the states. This is not meant to be patronizing. What I am saying is that these things, in my opinion are an indispensable social safety-net which ensures the smooth functioning of society. Its the oil in the cogs. Having a healthy and educated mass populace is essential.

  • you are an idoit ....Canadas Universal health care isfalling apart at the seams....you are very informed on what your talking about...stop spreading lies

  • Universal Health Care is bad,

There isn't a single government agency or division that runs efficiently.

The government can then regulate you under the premise, "It may not be healthy".

Rationing of health care would cause death.

    Forced vaccinations.

    And much more.

  • 2xtream,

just because his eyes are flashing back and forth does not mean he is reading. i am not the biggest fan of our current government and all the moronic decisions they have made but that statement was uncalled for.

  • Well, you know he's not reading a teleprompter. Can't be criticized for that.

  • What the hell are you talking about??? HE'S **********BLIND********* It doesn't matter what degree of blindness he has, he couldn't read off a teleprompter if it was two feet in front of his face!!!!!!!

  • The real issue with going back to work is finding employment that will not penalize you economically. All individuals on SSD & SSDI are covered for nine months after they were to be shown to be able to physically hold down a job. Economic disparity is the problem

  • /watch?v=eAaQNACwaLw

  • what is your fucking problem you fucking crazy idiot.

  • @jeffgatesnc

Preach, my Ron Paul brother.. AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE!!

  • I don't see what's unconstitutional about it. The Founding Father Alexander Hamilton was an advocate of the central bank.

It's "private," but not really. It still has to answer to Congress. It isn't independent of the rest of the government.

I can tell that all your opinions on the Federal Reserve come from the "documentary" Zeitgeist. That movie is filled with so many inaccuracies, half-truths, and lies. Google "conspiracy science."

  • * Article I, Section 8, Clause 2. The Congress shall have PowerTo borrow Money on the credit of the United States. * Article I, Section 8, Clause 5. The Congress shall have PowerTo coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.

Full truth is that it is unconstitutional for a private back to coin money!

  • Awesome!

  • dear sir I want to work but I need moblity but not a motorizes wheelchair but I would like a segway for the moblity needed to get around out side i can still use my legs to simply give up on my legs and go to a wheelchair is something that both the doctors and I feel i can still use but for very short distances medcaid said I may be allowed a wheel chair but the Segways are not in the book can i get one please

  • 100% right, preach it brother.

Universal health care has been a complete disaster for Canada, Great Britain, mainland Europe, Japan, etc etc...

The populations in all of those countries are **NOT** as healthy as Americans, they don't live as long as we do,they have *MUCH* higher rates of all diseases, and *MUCH* lower quality treatment.

  • That doesn't even make sense. I live in Canada, and most people are content about the health care system. No one I know has ever been denied care, or has been put into debt because of the need for care. As for Americans being healthier and living longer than Canadians, Europeans, and the Japanese, I would like to see your sources. Every data sheet I have seen has said much different.

  • Decivox, flawless, well said.

Many places have healthier people than the USA. And many countries run efficient health care systems (Canada's isin't perfect, but its really good); moreover, the American healthcare system is among the worst jn industrialized countries around the world. I think American's just can't deal with rapid change. Don't hate me for this, I think rapid change is difficult for any country to go through, but i doubt anybody will complain when they live the benefits of UHC.
