idiot, the foil thingy IS held by a string. The point is that the foil TURNS inside the jar supposedly by using the "power of the mind" or some kind of other unknown method.

il existe une explication tout a fait scientifique a cet effet. There's a much simpler explanation. Did you notice that both of his hands were together? Temperature differential has been proven as one of the causes for this. Perhaps the concentrated body heat of both his hands together created a temperature differential which allowed heat to transfer and cause the air to move inside the jar which moved the psi wheel.

The tin foil is magnetically charged. Also important to note is that this is done on a wood floor. When the bodys electric field comes close to the object. They react with each other. The wood bleeds out any other field around it. Making a persons field that much more reactive to the foil.

If a magnet was under the table, the compass needle would jerk around. That is the reason for the compass. Besides, he shows that the pyramid is non-magnetic.
he's holding a magnet next to the piramid-thing near the end of the clip, and it's completely unaffected by it. that's just to disprove what you just said.
wire coming out of the top of the jar would limit the movement of the psi wheel or even pull it off the pin. You would have to have wire coming out of the sides, which would actually prevent it from spinning. Temperature differential is probably the best explanation for this. Thermal winds, etc.
you can't figure out telekinezis. It is like everyone ability to move things whit their minds. it is not a trick. It is ability similar to dancing, singing and etc...
it's probably possible to figure it out... but not with physics as we know it. probably something with quantum physics, since at that level, things do move as we expect them to... i'd think telekinesis applies that on a larger scale, but it's impossible to prove that so far.. at least, this seems to be pretty genuine.

There's a much simpler explanation. Did you notice that both of his hands were together? Temperature differential has been proven as one of the causes for this. Perhaps the concentrated body heat of both his hands together created a temperature differential which allowed heat to transfer and cause the air to move inside the jar which moved the psi wheel.

(Continuation of previous comment) - because while it might be true that he could somehow warm his hands up to a hot enough state that it turns the wheel one way, I doubt he could influence the direction of the thermal gradient in the jar to turn the wheel the other way by moving his hand over two inches or so. And I'm pretty sure you could try this yourself and see how much of an influence body heat really has on the air surrounding this paper thingy

But if heat were radiating from his hands (radially), then how much control could he have of thermal gradients within the jar? The tin foil is magnetically charged. Also important to note is that this is done on a wood floor. When the bodys electric field comes close to the object. They react with each other. The wood bleeds out any other field around it. Making a persons field that much more reactive to the foil.

The foil is probably aluminum, which is non-magnetic.

A person's field is "reactive"? To what?
What is a person's field? What is it's nature in relation to the pinwheel in the glass container?
This same rotation can be done with a paper pinwheel in a glass container.

es un truco barato chequen el hilo muy delgado que gira encima de la tapa saliendo de la misma cuando pasa su mano encima para girar la tapa lo rompe por eso la tapa tiene un pequeno orificio cdisfrazado por la cinta adhesiva un truco que aprovecha la mala resolucion de la camara pero es muy otorio como gira encima de la tapa

I guess that the compass is to show that no magnet is moving under the table while the pyramid is rotating. If there was a magnet the needle of the compas would move. Book is to elevate the jar from the table.

The compass and the nail were to prove that there was no magnet. Also, the psi wheel was moved by thermal winds. (Again, not telekinesis.)

You know, it's probably just thermal winds moving the psi wheel and not the real thing and he's just trying to figure out what's causing it. As for why he's not applying to the challenge? It's possible that he's aware of the new rule change that you need a media presence as well as scientific backing before the Challenge will accept an application. They made that change back in April. Problem is, it's kinda hard to get your name noticed by the mainstream media for some people.

Spirit projection isn't stated anywhere in the name. Tele, latin for distant, kinesis, meaning to move. Technically, telekinesis is moving something at a distance. The question is is it mind power causing the move? The answer I suspect is no.

wire coming out of the top of the jar would limit the movement of the psi wheel or even pull it off the pin. You would have to have wire coming out of the sides, which would actually prevent it from spinning. Temperature differential is probably the best explanation for this. Thermal winds, etc.

it's probably possible to figure it out... but not with physics as we know it. probably something with quantum physics, since at that level, things do move as we expect them to... i'd think telekinesis applies that on a larger scale, but it's impossible to prove that so far.. at least, this seems to be pretty genuine.
