  • 3fps is simulation speed, i don't see why its so difficult to understand nor do i get why people have to be sarcastic about it. It is relative to cpu performance and that entire tree with leaves being simulated that fast is pretty impressive.

  • Future!

  • i wonder what improvement is made for this 3fps demo compared to the SpeedTree in 2008...

  • 1:27: Spore

  • sensitive couture for interactive < so cool

  • I do not understand how that is at 3 FPS. I don't think I will ever understand.

  • @Ccs1989 It's rendered 3 frames per seconds. I'm now rendering an animation of a cube (sic!), each frame takes about 20 seconds to render on my laptop. So to make a 10 second video at 24 fps, it takes 20 x 24 x 10 seconds to render. And this is not a predefined movement of a cube, it's a realistically simulated tree.

  • 2:20 very nice

  • Three YouTube raters prefer using Microsoft Paint for their computer generated pictures.

  • Impressive 3fps.

  • @ERTLPFM I can't wait until Cpu's get so powerful they can run 30 or 40 of the simulations at 60FPS in real time.

  • @majorhavoxg1 then we'll make more beautifull, detailed simulations and run thos on 3FPS ;)

  • when he was making the deer it looked like spore

  • Lol they killed gummibear :D

  • Insane. :D

  • whoa... just... whoa

  • Haha... Bears instead of Bunnies? I DON'T believe it! ,-))

  • I'm confused by the clothing thing, it looks exactly like Marvelous Designer. A couple other things also looked exactly like tools I currently use.

  • @philnolan3d ive checked it out. Its pretty impressive

  • Mind=Blown.

  • I want to know more about that painting thing and the lighting curve techniques.

  • @Dreamcube017 The research article and full video of the 3D painting system (called OverCoat) is online. Just search for "overcoat an implicit canvas for 3d painting".

  • Great technological breakthroughs are happening everyday. Thanks for posting.
