1) it is ridiculous to say that he isn't surprised it wasn't a British player - just look at Rooney's recent behaviour!

2) McDermott did not take Kebe off because he disapproved - Kebe was eventually taken off for 2 reasons: firstly to get a standing ovation for playing a great match; secondly because there was a real danger that other frustrated West Ham players would put in reckless challenges and cause him an injury.

As a neutral (a Blackburn Fan, who will know alot more about the Championship this time next year), I think Collision was dead right to take out Kebed. Fines and bans take a back seat when an opposition player carry's on like Kebe did there. I hope Big Sam (the legend, oh how we miss him), doesn't fine Collison. This defeat will hurt the Hammers for the next few months but it will ultimately spur them on and mean Big Sam trades places with his former bosses at Ewood next May.

I'm a West Ham fan and yes I agree that what Kebe did was disrespectul, but as a now experienced player there is no excuse for Collison doing that, poor lack of discipline. Kebe meant to win up the oppostion, and he did.

We'll still get promoted I'm certain of that but these little lapses and mistakes have to stop if we want to stand a chance of securing promotion automatically.
