I would only recommend this piercing if you're very patient. It took a long time for the swelling to go down. The healing process goes a lot faster if you use saltwater solution or the h20 solution places like the piercer and a Hot Topic will provide. Like all cartilage piercings, it was hard to sleep on at first but it's nothing that can't be tolerated. It didn't hurt much to get it done and it is definitely my favorite. I paid 30$ but the pricing for each place is different. Good luck! =]
i have both tregases (sp?) my industrial on my right ear also on my right is a cartilage and rook and three lower lobe piercings on my left ear i have two cartilage oiercings and three lower lobe iecings as well. i also have my tongue lip and nose. next up is this daith and anti tregus i can't wait!!! and maybe anti orbital possibly
im 14 goin into year 10 when i go bk , and am getting this doneee soon , i already have my lobes , cartilage , belly, tragus , lip + i did have a scaffold but i took it out in the end ... does it hurt more than any of those ? advicee pleaseee (: x
If there was one piercing I thought that hurt when I got it done it was my belly. The only part that hurts when you get this piercing done is the clamp. but that's just my opinion, everyone's pain tolerance is different. After a couple months of healing and letting the swelling go down this piercing is definitely worth it. My favorite by far.
ahh i think im getting this done tomorrow!! although iv been reading up on people that have gotten it done and people have said they it gets infected and stuff, ahh im not 100% sure if i want to do it. suggestions?
Mine didn't get infected but it did take awhile for the swelling to go down. After a couple months, it's well worth it. You just have to take good care of it and like the person below me said, be patient with it.
i got it done! haha much more painful then i was expecting but still not that bad. and yeah its really swollen but im soo happy with it! its absolutely adorable, and the fact that my piercer was very very good looking made the whole experience that much better!! haha
very cute! I want one pretty baddly suddenly, but I want it on the left... and I just (a few weeks ago) got my indistrial pierced, so having both ears hurting wouldnt be the best :) hahah but very cute!
had both my sides dun :) and im only 14 :) absolutely love it. i only felt the metal go in and apart from that no pain. i had it 3 weeks ago and im only jus learnin 2 sleep properly. which ait good if ur only in yr 10 :/ i love it tho and advice anyone:)
I only bump it when I wash or brush my hair but I don't bump it that much even when I do. And it hurts to sleep on for a long while but other than that I love my piercing.
Thanks, that actually makes me feel a lot better about possibly getting this piercing. Does it get bumped around a lot? It just seems like a part of the ear that would.
It looks like it hurts, but I really didn't feel anything at all. That's the only thing that stopped me from getting it. It hurt more for them to clasp the part they were going to pierce. And as for healing, if you use the right stuff you won't have any problems at all. I used Blairex Wound Wash, which you can get for about 5 or 6 dollars at WalMart, and so far this piercing has healed the best out of all of mine.
my snug absolutely killed! and im good with pain :|

that looks great :)
i'm thinking about getting a snug piercing rather soon. Would you recommend it? Does it hurt a lot? How much did you pay for yours?
thanks for the advice!

Well, I know it's been a while, I still love this piercing. I went to my local piercing parlor to get it done, and ended up with a rook.
Ahh well, there's always next time.

it really didn't hurt at all. The only thing I could think of that might be considered painful is the clamp and that would be a 3 or 4

How was healing? I really want to get one of these soon, however I have a few issues. One being pain, another being healing.
