  • That sounds quite good actually

  • haha horrible actually...

  • Thank you very much for uploading this but I have one question. Seeing as I have KORG DS-10 as well I ofcourse immediately went to your site to copy the patterns but it ofcourse won't sound as great if I don't know how you've set all the knobs. Is it too bold of a question to ask you to reveal that as well?

  • Thank you man!

  • where is the fine tuning and the feeling?

with putting notes in it it is not done....

  • thanxs thanx for your page

  • Nice man! Hey I just got my KORG DS 10, and know how to edit the drums, keyboards etc but I don't know how to make my own song? How do you mix different patterns on the pattern screen up top left of the main screen, how do I make different patterns individually? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This song sounds so depressing yet awesome lol :)

  • When you are in ANY of the pattern screens, there is a big button that says "SONG" on the right hand side. That is where you can sequence your patterns.

  • Thanks, I was also told by a few others that you can mix/patterns on the pattern 1, pat 2, pat 3 screen etc. I'm learning the grips of this, pretty damn deep for a portable synth. lol

  • Hmm. I'm not sure if I understand... "mix/patterns?" What do you mean? Like, what are you trying to do that others say you can do

  • Like when I say mix(sorry) I mean make a tune, say I record one pattern/tune whatever that sounds like da, da, da, da. Pat 2 sounds like dee, dee, dee(deeper) or something how I mix them to make it sound like da, da, dee, dee, repeat or go onto another pat 3 or something.:)

Sorry if I make it sound confusing, on a forum or text I tend to go into detail because it's tough to sometimes ask a question unless you're in front of the person or on the phone

  • AHH, I see. In the pattern selection screen, select the pattern that you want to add more notes on top of. Click "Copy" on the top left, then click a pattern that you would like the selected pattern to be copied onto. Now, go into the pattern you just clicked on and you'll see it's identical to the previous pattern. Now you can add more on top of it.

  • Yeah, ahh ok lol thanks so that's what copy does. I wasn't sure if it just made a "Duplicate" of the same original sound/pattern or overlapped it like you said so that you hear them both instead of just one pattern.

I also figured out more the song, each pattern is numbered 1-16 going down and left to right lol. I just realized that, I hardly went onto the song screen but now I see that's when you're all done editing everything else literally lol. Very deep and am learning more. :) Thanks

  • Ive been watching alot of Korg DS 10 vids on YouTube and this is one of the best sounding covers I have heard yet. Good job.

My Korg DS 10 should be ariving in the mail soon I hope and I will make some vids too.

  • Auch 5 Sterne :)

  • How do you get it to play it back like that? I know you can touch the different patterns to have them play but im not sure how u did what u did. Awesome job!

  • @ Guagloves, there is a song button, on the big screen with all the buttons, where u put all the different patterns together.

    KWL SONG !

  • its really a song by Tears for Fear, breat job!

  • Yes i know, i like the music of Tears for Fears very much, but this version should be the slower piano version by Gary Jules.

I will also upload a much better sounding version the next weeks.

  • Bueno Bueno, either way you did a great job, looking forward to hearing more!

  • I love this song, great job.
