  • Definitely the true kings of metal

  • I dunno if anyone else can hear that, but if you listen carefully from 0:00 to 4:29, you can hear the sound of Victory :D

  • @TheDamageDoctor PS: oh yeah, and turn it really loud!

  • @TheDamageDoctor just compare the original (non remastered version) and this using a good quality, high power BIG speaker system (at least 8 inch diameter and at least 100 W each channel) and see which one stirs the sperm in your balls.

  • One thing to me that really lacks in this album (IMO, of course) is that Joey's new bass tone is so puny.

  • The original album sounds way better because thats the version I grew up listening to.I don't like the production on most modern metal albums because everything is overproduced...Back in the 80's every band had their own unique sound. These days everything sounds the same because everyone is using the same drum samples & amp modulation settings....

  • @TheDamageDoctor How is it ridiculous? Surely there is more to music than just technical details? The difference is that when they recorded Battle Hymns they were full of youthful exuberance. This sounds far too professional and workmanlike for a song that is meant to be celebratory in tone.

The original is full of passion, this sounds like they are going through the motions to my ears, and that's the problem with Manowar now. They are no longer inspired.

  • The Original is better

  • More bands should re record their old stuff.a lot of the albums that has been released before the 90's have a shitty quality..

  • @marcodarwin I disagree. The stuff that was recorded before the 90's has way better dynamics. Analog also sounds way better to the human ear than digital. If you feel that old recordings sound too weak, just turn the volume knob louder and feel them in your guts :)

  • The original sounds so horrible just like Hail to England they need some serious remastering. Lots of screaming but no harmonization in the vocals. It sounds like some garage band covering manowar this version is way better. Some remasters are bad and ruin songs like megadeth's remastering of Holy Wars

  • the part from 3:04 is sooo AMAZING! HAIL MANOWAR

  • The original is 100 Times Better, much more soul and power in the original version!

  • Amazing!

  • No right audio channel hare, also

  • It's like good wine, it became even better by getting old ! I totaly love this version ! Fits Manowar style better, sounds powerful and Eric Adams current voice is really better !

  • I prefer this song, it contains more power

  • Seriously, it feels like I'm the only one who prefers new BH over original =D

  • not bad, I realy like it but the original version was more... "atmospheric"

  • i dont know why but i prefer the original version .. it might not have the production but it still very powerful than the new version

  • @mysweettragic I always thought the chorus was kinda cheesy in the original...the chorus in this one is much more powerful

  • Good, but I still prefer the original.. All

    Hail.

  • this is the one song that got improved. I was looking forward to Dark Avenger for Christopher Lee, but they butchered his voice with scynth. Battle Hymns was too slow. I am yet too see how everything else sounds.

  • I prefer the original, but this is still good.

  • no audio on the left site :_(

    i like both versions...AWESOME!!!

  • Hmm... Original is much better!

  • @Papa1337 hmmm .... fuck knows :P

  • like the music but no audio is coming out of the right speaker on this?

  • This sounds really fucking awesome!

    Hail ManOwaR, from Holland!
