  • what about a wal bowing OUTWARD?

  • .....tied into the floor joists and concrete floor, rebar, new footer drains, tuff n dri waterproofing, back fill with clean stone all the way to the surface, and then refinished basement. Not to mention my patio being put back down. $26k. What caused it? Water coming down my electrical conduit and laying on my foundation for 20 years. There were holes in a few blocks under the counduit where water had deteriorated them. If someone has questions email me because I know I couldnt find answers.

  • I just went through this. I hired a guy to reframe 2 doors in my basement and when he cut the drywall it was damp. Then when we removed the drywall there was a horizontal crack and it had pushed 1/2" I just about lost my mind, but 2 months later it has been fixed. I had lots of estimates, but the bottom line is get it fixed right or you will be in trouble down the road. I had my drywall gutted, foundation excavated, wall pushed back, block filled with mortar, steel reinforcement...........

  • I have a wall that has broke horizontally at the ground line just like the picture. The ground line on the outside of the house is higher. I do not have a concrete floor. It is just a dirt floor. I am a single mom and I cannot do the job myself. I cannot get a loan on the house to pay for it. I live in north GeorgiaChattanooga area. Do you know anyone that does work like you. I cannot find anyone that will touch it.

  • i have a brand new home i moved in 7 months ago and it has stepcracks coming from each window in the basement and also my concrete is hairline cracked all over.and when outside i can see my cinder blocks shape with a watery substance showing the shape.then like in a week that watery substance turns into cracks what should i do?

  • @ILOVETHICKBITCHES You need to lay off all them thick bitches, you are putting to much strain on your foundation.

  • @cptfancypants lol funny but seriously what do you think?

  • @ILOVETHICKBITCHES

i am pretty ignorant on these things, hence the youtube video research. But if your foundation is disolving under you. You really need to callan expert it. They'll be able to diagnose your problem and quote you on repairs. if you are die hard DIY, at least you'll know what is wrong for certain and can begin researching solutions from there. Thats my 2 cents. Hope it works out for you eh.

  • @ILOVETHICKBITCHES oh boy, i am having a structural engineer to come and inspect it in the next week are you familiar with them?

  • I've also seen where they drill holes through the wall and have 15-20 feet of cable in the ground horizontally with an anchor on the end that supports the wall. If it's real bad I don't see how those strips will hold it together... just my 2 cents.

  • @buildingourhome I agree, looks kinda gimmickey to me.The amount of pressure, in most situations where basement walls are bowing is really high, do not think this fancy product would work.

  • ok loll whahahahaha whorse shit i saw in years loll the 2 together yea that would be amazing but only the strip ... dont get me rong i know epoxy is freaking strong but the brick .....the only thing i know is when its going to let go its going to give a strong it to the house loll anyways good luck in your thing loll hahahaha
