Slavery ended in your neighboring country USA over a decade before Canada and history says the secret train was for slaves to go back to their slave owners in Canada and they continued being slaves while the vast majority returned and was given freedom. Did u pull that info outta ur ass? Upper Canada abolished slave trade in 1793. Lower Canada abolished slavery in 1803.

The United States abolished slavery with the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, sixty years after Canada. And even then, 40,000 slaves were still remaining.
