@frenchbassoon If you haven't noticed, the reason this piece is terribly neglected is because of its terrible difficulty!!! It is one of my favorites and I'm preparing to perform it soon

@oshidonimlop Oh yeah. I tried the first movement during my third semester of college. Spent months on it and didn't seem to get anywhere!

Bits of it are easier on the French bassoon, but it's still quite a bear.
