Great sounding 5!!! I was watching nervously as the eye bolt was slowly backing out under the vibration... Glad it didn't fall into the chopper! (I trust that you saw that, and there were plenty of threads left still screwed in ;) . I have an earlier version Model 5, and I like the way you did the intake. I don't have a housing for mine (missing when I got the siren), so I'm not sure if mine is supposed to have an intake like yours, or if it was part of the housing.
@kx250rider661 Yea, we saw the eye bolt but it still had a lot of threads left and didn't see it as a real urgent problem so we let the test finish up. We basically had an exact copy of the old air intake made, our other model 5 also has the same style air intake. I don't think that federal may have put air intakes on a lot of them, some of the older ones may not have them.
