God damn. This song, this slowed down version of the Morrowind theme, it seriously stimulated my brain. I just thought of something to address certain issues in one of the stories I'm writing. It's a compelling idea within the context of the story. When the idea struck me (all of 3 minutes ago), it gave me goosebumps.

I don't know why, just can't put a finger on it but it is one of the most beautiful music pieces I've heard in my life. It's so... divine. Such an easy transformation of the original theme (which is the definition of epic - I think we'll all agree) created something like that.

@Bieltanthemighty WavePad can slow down the song without affecting the pitch, The ones that the pitch is affected are ushualy records of records not the actual song itself. This apears to be used will other insturments so its not a personal copy of his owen. Perhaps edited Idk why dont u ask him :/ anyways its amazing.

@mudmogwai Sounds like time-stretch to me. If I'm correct thats the only way you can change the bpm of a track without altering the pitch as well. Or he slowed it down and then bumped the pitch back up, but time-stretching would potentially be a lot easier. If I'm wrong on that I'd also love to know how it was done.

This captures the sensation of isolation that I feel whenever I play Morrowind. It's probably the part of the game that I find most appealing. The idea that I am a stranger in a strange land is conveyed almost perfectly and this piece of music recreates it beautifully. Under Moon and Star, Outlander.

Remember when you first played the game? How easy it was to get lost? How truly adventurous the game felt when you just walked endlessly in one direction and by accident would discover a castle or keep? Or even a random NPC just standing in the middle of nowhere! Morrowind is a part of my childhood, where I first felt my imagination could be realized.
