  • Pasig River was never prestine and crystal clear even back during Rizal's days, he described Ilog Pasig in the first chapter of the Fili so well in Bapor Tabo, how it was so muddy and how it slowed down the boats and compared it to the development of the country ...Its amazing how the Rizal's parallelism between Phil economy and Pasig River was so perfect. Now, Ilog Pasig is pronounced dead, so is the Phil Economy. Reviving Pasig will probably bring the life back to our economy as well

  • Mr. Mallari...Pasig..you said Pas...as in fast flowing...and ig...for tubig..are you joking us????Pasig...without knowing the true historical root of it is most likely derived from Dalampasigan...Pasigan...hence shortened as Pasig...maybe the biggest or longest shoreline of the river was in Pasig that we know now...but these are just my kuro kuro which makes sense than what you said...
