The first time i heard this song was when i was walking through a park right during the sunset fryin on four tabs, it was a magnificent experience, GONG = Genius :]
Hahaha what a flash back this is: used to trip out to this 25 + yrs ago , plus the freak bros and free festivals and such nice ppl / times/ drugs . Im sad now cos i miss them times but happy i get to download this and bottle it . Cheers for posting :-)
I listened to this album when I was 17. It helped me through hard times. Is this a cd? Can you help me with some identification so I can order it from a music store?
PS I am 45 years now! But still loving this sound.
This band was my life from being 16 to my mid 30s! I remember buying Angel's Egg in September 1982 from Virgin in Leeds, and I was hooked! Gong this, Gong that... nothing else mattered! If it wasn't for Moerlen, I wouldn't be a drummer. Met everyone but Hillage. (Ironically, I take my name from Submarine Captain Spillage!) Excellent!
seen gong live and they blew my shoes and socks off . you jammy pixies have it all nowdays ,had to get my mate to tape there albums for me. yous can just tap buttons and have it all on the internet . anyways enjoy my cosmic brothers and sisters. live in sheffield is a good album.
as a teenager me an my friends used to love looking at the album cover and reading the song names and believing we had missed out on something special, fifteen years later we were in heaven watching them in a tiny venue and i was right at the front sharing my JD and coke with mr allan, dreams can come true, also they ae amazing with mushrooms!
Speaking of cosmic what about ozric tentacles. Melting euphoria opened for Gong in sfo, calif. They are assuredly cosmic. Another cosmic recomendation from me to you is two books by Micheal Scott entitled The Alchemyst and more recently The Magician. Something like historical fiction. OM TAT SAT

I'm lucky enough to have Gong in both the 70s and today. As a teen I went to Fontbonne College, and everyone thought this stuff wouldn't last.
Now look who has the last laugh!!
