He was not against different race, but against too much race-mixing. He believed that Africa is the place for Africans, Germany the place for Germany, and so on. There is nothing wrong with that.
And as for the Jews, he never gassed them, Gas chambers never existed. The camps were to bring Jews to Palestine. (Google MADAGASCAR PLAN or HAAVARA TREATY).
Robert Jackson's son (I forget his name now) who worked on the trial with his father talked about the significance of Nuremberg for trial. He spoke on this on the 1995 documentary "Nuremberg: Tyranny on Trial" when he said that the Nuremberg Stadium was only a mile or so away from the Palac of Justice. So the significance was that "Alot of it (Nazism) started there, and it should end there too".

WWII and Nazism IS in the past...Its been in the past since August 15th, 1945.
One thing that certainly remains true to this day, and will probably be true for a very long time to come is that the dozen years of unspeakable murder of Nazism will never be forgotten, and WWII as a whole (Atlantic and Pacific theatres, from '37- '45) will never be lost in history like the Korean War. To many, WWII is very much still the present.

There were holocausts commissioned by the Turks to make Turkey a single religion State. It is argued that those atrocities were the model for the nazi atrocitiess. The "nazi rally" shown in this clip wasn't held in Nuremberg. It was the Erntedankfest (harvest feast) in Bückeberg, far from Nuremberg.
