  • he IS the best caller. i wonder are all religious people like that ?

  • Athiesm makes u bald, beware people!

  • But I believe in unicorns :<

  • strong hosts skills. "do you believe in unicorns?" seriously?

  • Hahahaha I refuse to believe people this stupid exists, even in America.

  • I'm not Christian but these guys are nothing but arrogant assholes.

  • @DMK000 I agree. I dont understand why some atheists have to be such dicks. Here in Holland almost everyone is atheist and no1 EVER talks shit about religion.

Atheism for some people is just an easy way to feel better about themselves by looking down on others.

  • What about the first law of Thermodynamics? "matter can neither be created nor destroyed," but some how our universe just came out of nowhere? I can only think that there has to be a higher power. Someone help me out here, I'm not very well educated...

  • Do you have to have a gotee to work here . Don't know if I spelled that right . Doesn't matte . There is no such thing as an atheist with or without facial hair , nobody is that stupid .

  • dont blame him...its cuz he's black DUH!

  • hahahahahaah damn I love stupid people

  • the world would be less hilarious without religion =(

  • When my girlfriend is sucking my cock and looks up at me and says 'i want you to come in my mouth' i know theres a God.

  • @dilwich123 NICE!

  • @dilwich123 pissing my self laughing :)

  • @dilwich123 LMAO dude best example yet!

  • LMFAO! HAHAH NICE

  • :D

  • Lmfao!! Episode 482.. probably the most funniest episode to date!!! I have seen this half a dozen times and still laugh my ass off everytime I hear this quote: A.E: "Do you believe in Unicorns?" - Caller: "Pshhh, NO!" A.E: "Why??" -Caller: "Uhhhhh because they're fake and haven't been proven real.?.?.!." : A.E: "YESSSS, YOU ARE THE BEST CALLER!! You can answer your own questions EVERY SINGLE TIME!" lmfao.. Can we say OOOOOOOWNED!!!!! BOOYA!!!

  • my hamster died and was ressucitated... praise the lord

  • @zaxxxon LOL! ZOMBIE HAMSTER

  • "and she was halfway dead or whatever"

  • You know what I noticed about these two guys? They take everything that people say, and turn it around.

  • That was LOL

  • You know what?.........I think he got it!

    Hopefully it's sunk in!

  • Amazing!

  • now i understand there choice but common ive seen this show ... there so cocky...prove god is real..look the hell around u morons..this life isnt by chance ...im not worried cuz theyll c when they dead he is real and theyll crap there pants...

  • @willbusch And you'll see when you die that... oh wait, you don't see after you're dead...

  • @willbusch Well, I understand your choice. You're afraid of death and the belief that there's something after life gives you the strength to go on. But what if you're wrong? Would you rather live free or live bound to rules that, in the end, wouldn't matter anyway?

  • @UberREDKitteh wait till ur dead..i know there is a spirit world...some ppl rock musicians to be exact sold there souls for the talent...the bible also sez something about it..the bible isnt made to tell u what to do its a instruction manual for life but its ur choice to follow or not.

  • @willbusch Oh my god! Get the fuck off you troll...

  • @UberREDKitteh this is a typical response to what ive written im not gonna argue over the net nor do i like bein sworn at goodbye.will report u aswell for this.scare u i hope so.

  • @willbusch I just crapped my pants. That's just how scared I am.

  • @willbusch

    "sold there souls"

First, the story is about Robert Johnson, who played the blues. Second, no one ever sold their soul. It's a silly story. You clearly can't deduce fantasy from reality.

  • @willbusch 'rock muscicians sold their souls for talent.'

Well, some of them got ripped off. XD

  • @willbusch Thank you providing no evidence.

  • @xLOKIx0830 Or in the case of Atheism, choosing to not believe?

  • This is gold!

  • If this guy can answer his own questions, why did he call in the first place?

Seriously, he answered it perfectly, if someone close to you is going to die, then the next second she's fine, that's not proof that god exists, that's a proof that whatever happened to make her okay, whatever it may be, happens, and god's existence hasn't been proven to be true, so if you believe in something that hasn't been proven true, you might as well believe that Bigfoot, fairies and unicorn also exists.

  • lol do you beleive in unicorns

  • @elflordbob1 Horses with horns seem more realistic than a supernatural being that can do anything to me.

  • Can you guys PLEASE do something about the sound on your videos? I love watching them, but each video is totally different in the sound area. Some are way too quite, some are distorting (like this video) some are panned in one speaker or the other, etc. I love your videos, but sometimes they are hard to hear clearly. Thanks.

  • @Michael55443 That means every caller must get a high tech telephone and perfect connection :P

  • @Sm0k4bl3 It's not just the caller. Their videos are often super quiet or super loud or panned weird or something. I can understand the caller having issues but I'm talking beyond that.

  • @Michael55443 yeah i agree

  • @Michael55443 Do you understand that 1) this channel isn't run by The Atheist Experience, 2) a lot of these clips are years old, and 3) it's using public equipment so they're not the best quality?

  • @DuggabbooDC I understand all of that. The age of the video shouldn't matter, since they don't deteriorate over time and the quality isn't very good at times because the callers have junk phones.

  • atheists. If I make one of u look dumb, does it make u all dumb? No. You can be atheistic and be very smart.

  • @Willieskyeyes You can be anything and still be smart, it doesn't matter.

  • Unicorns are real, were mentioned in the bible and can be shown to be real, just not in the sense that ur speaking. It's not a horse with a horn. He was simply speaking of the type of animal such as narwhals, rhinoceros, and the elasmotherium. A single horn is not uncommon in god's design of animals. This guy just had no clue what he was talking about. He fell right in their trap, trying to make him look like an idiot, therefore making all christians look like idiots. You can do the same with

  • @Willieskyeyes How do you know that it was a rhinoceros or narwhal?

  • "WHOOOOO!"

  • HOW can he not beleive in Unicorns they are in the Bible.

What about an Atheist on the brink of Death who comes back, there are cases of this too.

In fact Kerri Packer after a NDE reported bad news there is nothing after death,

how do you answer that he was there you were not.

  • @VideoAudioDisco09 It's as stupid to think that when oxygen is deprived from your brain that you can cross into other dimensions. It's also stupid to think that when oxygen is deprived from your brain that you can make a decision on other dimensions.

  • @DuggabbooDC

We are on the same page I agree. There is no evidence of crossing into any other plane of exsistance. Its all in the mind. NDE are inevitably a oxygen deprivation event. However drugs and electrodes in a specific area of the brain induce the same sorts of results. Some drugs a re well known for producing a spiritual experience ect.

As I said its all in the mind, like all man made gods.

  • "Ok, good point. (what point?)"

  • I'm in physical pain from how stupid the caller was. Why is this possible?

  • @AlyxYork

I know.. I often feel the same pain.

Dont you see them too, there everywhere, I see Deity people.

  • Funny as foowk! :))))

  • To all Atheists out there keen for a good argument, please go to the video 'Hell to Pay: gay teen exorcism on tyra' the top two comments are dominated by religious wankers who deny the fact that god condoned genocide, slavery and all the other bullshit in it. help a fellow atheist out.'

  • Quantum Entanglement exists with proof but not explanation

How or why.Einstein knew about it.

  • This is retarded. The whole point of being an atheist is not wasting your time with religious bullshit. When you waste your time in a show that does nothing but debate religion, you miss the point of being an atheist entirely.

  • @ArKaiN123 I agree with you there . If religion is all bull shit why on earth do atheists talk about it all the time . Why not discuss Quantum theory or neuro thingamajigs . Or indeed Darwins,s Origin of species ?

Don,t worry . I think I know why . Everyone would be bored shit less .

  • @LuluRosenkrantz

We discuss what people need to learn and that which is the greatest threat to man kind.

  • @ArKaiN123 Being an atheist means maintaining a negative claim for the existence of a god and other theistic views: there is no indication of why a person may think this way. Religious views (including atheism) typically become a mold for how people behave and interact with the environment and with those within. If your religious view is based entirely on not dealing with specific people, then you, sir, have missed the point entirely.

  • @xLOKIx0830 Most people who are atheists don't use this definition, they use the SENSIBLE definition i.e. atheists are just people who AREN'T THEISTS. i.e. people who don't have a belief in a God. That doesn't mean that you believe there is no God.

Why is this the sensible definition. Because it's A-THEIST, and we know what happens to a word when we put an a- infront of it e.g. apolitical, apmorphous, atypical, asymmetric, asexual. They all change the word to meaning NOT-...

  • @jamma246 Personally, i perfer to be called an anti-theist

  • @daspense To me, that means something different - anti-theist I would interpret as being someone opposed to the idea of a god. To be an atheist, you might even want there to be a god, it doesn't matter, all that matters is that you don't have a belief in one.

  • @daspense Anti-theist is good, but I think I would prefer just "sane".

  • @xLOKIx0830

    "negative claim"

Atheists simply don't accept the claim of god.

  • Comment removed

  • @onijester56 Why are people restating what I said in my first sentence? I know what I said, I don't need clarification on it. Perhaps I worded my thoughts wrong or more complicated than it should have been, but I can assure you I know what an atheist is. I'm sorry everyone feels obligated to tell me what I already know. What annoys me is how everyone is avoiding the point of my post and nit-picketing on a definition I already established as what you say it is.

  • @xLOKIx0830 To clarify what I meant by my first sentence. By negative claim, I mean doesn't support the arguments that claim the existence of god and other arguments theists make similar to this, such as morality.

"A" is a prefix indicating "no" or "not", while theism indicates a belief in God or deity. Thus, atheism translates to no belief in God. A negative claim for the existence of god is a synonymous sentence to this definition. I'm shocked this caused so much confusion.

  • @xLOKIx0830 Because (1) what you state is NOT what people are telling you, and (2) it is a focal point of your post's argument.

    1) Your wording expresses the "negative claim" as "There is absolutely no god".

    2) As atheism is a lack of belief, it is not formulative of personalities. You can't logically make a life centered around not collecting stamps as a hobby. You can't make a life centered around not believing in some random god.

[My first comment deleted due to redundancy]

  • @onijester56 You certainly CAN logically make a life centered around not collecting stamps as a hobby: have better hobbies! The same analogy applies to theism: you can logically make a life centered around not believing in myths by only believing in testable statements and facts.

  • @benyanc You don't get it. The argument being made (as I read it) by LOKI is that "If it involves any sort of collecting stamps then it can never be done" is drawn directly from you not collecting stamps as a hobby. That your entire life is built around you not collecting stamps, avoiding anything like it, etc.

Going out of your way to not celebrate Christmas simply because you don't believe in one of the associated gods is absurd. You forsake the principles of love/caring/etc for your ego.

  • @onijester56 Then you obviously don't get my argument. Putting aside my definition of an atheist (which I'm still convinced it is exactly what everyone is saying. If it truly isn't, then I will throw out my wording and adopt the traditional translated definition), I feel holding a specific belief solely because you don't want to deal with the groups affiliated with that belief then you are missing the point of holding that belief. Can't believe people didn't understand that. Jesus.

  • (cont) Now, I may be reading LOKI's comment wrong. But as it is written, it seems that is what he is stating and makes the most sense as what he means: That to be an atheist you must reject and avoid inclusion of anything related religion/theism/spirituality/etc.

That is what I object to. To carry your analogy: I am saying that the lay-atheist does not need to worry about the myths or give them a second look. And even the non-lay-atheist won't extend their atheism to, say, their tax policy.

  • @xLOKIx0830 The point of what, of being an atheist? You are born an atheist, there isn't any point to it.

  • @ArKaiN123 You are not born with a specific belief or lifestyle; not believing in God or believing in a god is not something ingrained in our genetics. You are raised up a specific way, and through your experiences and decisions, you mold your own beliefs. I'm saying if you are choosing to follow a belief or lifestyle simply because it avoids specific groups of people, then there is no point in holding that belief in the first place. That is all I have ever been saying this whole time

  • @xLOKIx0830 I'm not choosing to believe anything. I don't follow anything. You argument falls apart because atheism isn't a religion. It's not about actively not believing. What these guys do is take time out of their day to defend their position, when their position doesn't need defending, because it's a personal choice (in their case. I'm sure not praising yahweh or allah somewhere would get you killed, but I'm pretty sure you can't have atheist shows in those places either).

  • @ArKaiN123 Don't fool yourself, you choose everything you believe. You were not born religious or atheist because you were not born with the notion of God, the concept was taught to you and you made the decision to believe it or not. I'm not arguing about religions, I'm arguing about beliefs. Classify atheism however you want, it is still something you choose to do and explains what you believe.

What exactly do you find wrong with my argument? That I say you choose your beliefs?

  • @xLOKIx0830 When your are first born, you are naive and you do not understand much about the world. So one would assume then that you search for your own beliefs; unfortunately no. When starting off, most don't even take into consideration the possibility of choosing what to believe; because all the "answers" are provided for them from other people's beliefs. There's no choice in that; especially if those beliefs are reinforced by fear. In the U.S. we're lucky to have choice.

  • @swygster You choose everything you believe, whether you realize that you do or not doesn't change the reality of it. Being told something by your family, society, and authoritative figures is indeed convincing, it is the very reason why so many people are religious. However, they are still choosing to believe what they are being told is true. There may be no reason to doubt a claim, but you always decide one of two outcomes: to believe what you are told or to question it.

  • @xLOKIx0830 We are inclined to believe what our parents and society believe when we are raised because we have no knowledge of other explanations and theories. We see the world and understand the laws and forces, but have no explanation as to why or how they work. When we hear an explanation the makes sense, we believe it. Then, when we hear a second, conflicting explanation, we question it. It is then that the reality of choice becomes known.

  • @xLOKIx0830 The idea of choice is only true for people in developing countries though. There are exceptions for people in poor countries; usually because someone from a 3rd world country was lucky enough to hear someone else's point of view from another country. Why would they NOT believe what they were told to believe during their youth? They have no perception of all the other religions or ways of thinking. The very idea to question isn't even displayed to everyone.

  • you axed my explanation.....

  • @LuluRosenkrantz We alreadyknow that Matt (right) is an agnostic atheist, he's stated many times. And I'm fairly sure the guy on the left is an agnostic atheist too.

  • It's funny how a man murders for money and is givin life in prison and another murders cuz God told him to do it and they put him in an insane asylum! You figure that one out! ;-)

  • are ppl rly this stupid?

  • Is there a conflicting school of thought within the atheist movement ? One which completely denies the existence of a spiritual realm and one that accepts the possibility of a spiritual realm .

  • @LuluRosenkrantz The ones that completely deny it are called antitheists, meaning they completely reject religion. The ones that accept the possibility are called atheists, meaning they have no faith but don't reject the idea outright.

Generally they're both just branded as atheists, hence the misconception.

I like using big words, it makes me feel smart.

  • @TehFirefly Perhaps atheist could be more accurately defined agnostic . Since they accept the possibility , but don,t reject the idea outright . Idea I take to mean the existance of God or a spiritual realm .

I wonder where these two gentlemen in the clip stand on this issue .

  • @TehFirefly No, they're called gnostic atheists.

  • @LuluRosenkrantz gnostic atheist = There is no god

agnostic atheist = it's extremely improbable there is a god, but I'm not ruling it out

  • @ArKaiN123 Shouldn,t this be then called the agnostic atheist experience if this show does not represent true atheism .

  • the callers mom is a zombie

  • @OpenMimdGoodHerb420 The Bible does they that, so actually he is being a good Christian.

  • The caller is smart enough to know the difference between evidence and blind faith, he just needs to take the last step and apply it to his own faith. He's almost there!

  • @fliphopkins How are those questions the same at all? There are reasons to believe in evolution and the big bang theory which is not true for unicorns. The point is that there is as much evidence for god as there is for unicorns

  • i want to fucking murder both of these people. fucking rott

  • @McCnastyNumba21 There's only one caller.

  • @McCnastyNumba21 wow seriously..? some christian you are.. you need to wake up sometime man, the worlds moving on wether you're coming with her or not.

  • @McCnastyNumba21 good christian values shining through or just need a hug?

  • @McCnastyNumba21 Why, man? It's not healthy to want to murder people.

You should probably consult with a psychotherapist, you know?

It's not usually a good sign of emotional health when you find yourself wanting to murder people.

  • Unicorns were even in the bible...

  • @jacobcake Really? Where?

  • @73gummybears 9 times in The Book of Job, etc.

But looking in to it they were perhaps referencing a single horned rhinoceros not the mythical beast.

  • This is beyond funny lol

  • That was amazing

  • one of the points that i find very duplicitous in the argument that God does not exist is this ridiculous question: do you believe in unicorns? the same answer can be give to other questions: do you believe in evolution? do you believe in a big bang theory? do you believe that something can appear out of nothing? math is logic is God. there is immaterial proof of God's existence in logic. you are Saul. you must become Paul.

  • @fliphopkins What are you even saying... "math is logic is God"

Mathematics is logical, therefore God exists? That's a heck of a non-sequitur, as if there's not enough already.

The analogy suggested in the question is to illustrate why disbelievers have no reason to believe what they deem to be superstitious, since there's not a shred of evidence to suggest the existence of a supreme, omnipresent/omniscient being that had supposedly created and regulates the Universe.

  • @fliphopkins The difference is that evolution and the big band theory have something called "evidence". Unicorns and Gods don't have evidence of their existence, and if there isn't evidence, then there is no reason to believe in them. The burden of proof is on the person who makes a claim, not the person denying it.

  • @fliphopkins There was a time when god was in the mountains, until we could climb the mountains.

Then it was the clouds, until we could fly and see that he wasn't in there. Now we are observing the universe, and he seemingly isn't there either.

You know what I call an immaterial, invisible, timeless, improbable being that has to be attributed things (such as "he's outside of reality" or "he's beyond understanding") in order to gain context?

    Inexistent.

We have a word for logic; It's "logic".

  • @Ebvardh

An accurate discription of God, as they say under examination God looks a very much like "nothing"

  • @Ebvardh best_quote_ever

  • @Ebvardh Bravo my good sir :)

  • lmao these religious people kill me lol lol lol.

  • ROFL

  • "My mother was in the hospital, correct?" lololol

  • LOL OWNED!

  • Shit happens, good shit and bad shit!!

  • Comment removed

  • "and she was halfway dead or whatever"

  • @HyperSchmizzle hilarious. I picked up on this too. classic!

  • 2:02 did satan enter matt's body?lol!!

  • Best caller ever.

  • @PhilipLynch8 feeding lies to children is always wrong, and just because something feels nice is not a reason to believe it. And you ask what atheists have proof of, oh dear. The atheist position is simply this: don't believe in anything unless there is proof. There is no evidence for god, so don't believe. I recommend you have a long hard think about your cult membership, and overcome your lies and indoctrination.

  • @0TheGuru0 I don't need any long hard think as I'm not a christian I'm an agnostic so I hedge my bets. The atheist position is quite simple yes it is, it's dead simple there really is nothing hard about it or taking it, in fact any fool can become an expert at it it's so very simple Lol.

  • what do u tell ur kids when they feel frightened is it

    a) god exists and he's going to look out for you

    b) there is no god just cold atheism

    no contest

  • @PhilipLynch8 why would you lie to your children like that? also, if your kids are frightened of something.. it's YOU who assures them that everything is fine, not replace their fear of the normal with the fear of god (a fictional entity) ?????

  • @feistychick80 why would i tell them Santa Claus exists that's a lie as well ain't it ?

  • what is it atheists have proof of - er nothing !

  • @PhilipLynch8 what is it that christians have proof of...... errrr stupidity!

  • @feistychick80 that's unchristian !

  • @feistychick80 I'll have a go at a christian and question their beliefs but that doesn't mean I'm going to automatically agree with an atheist I find some atheists just as stupid as some christians, then again I wouldn't call the pope stupid he may be many things but stupidity is not high on the list of his failings.

  • @PhilipLynch8 don't get me wrong, i didn't mean to come across overly aggressive. I agree that there are quite a few idiot atheists (in which i have had to pull a few into place due to their ill-informed and often disrespectful opinions) but i have a bone to pick with a select type of christian, esp. those who are quite forceful with their beliefs. I have quite a few theist friends whom we share proper debates, it's the fact i like to rebuttal, not fending off nut jobs.

  • @feistychick80 no problem, it does seem to me though that as an alternative atheism has nothing to offer, no hope, no redemption, what's the point in living for ordinary people then, christianity always provided that, it was it's main selling point.Hell I wish I could believe secularism seems to go hand in hand with a selfish, decadent society.

  • @PhilipLynch8 ignorance is bliss right?

  • @feistychick80 I dunno is it bliss ?

  • I pray to almighty Atheismo that they get better microphones...

  • This explains why Atheists are so ignorant.

  • @pbarc552 How? Please explain?

  • Explains how dumb Christians are.

  • DOES THIS SHOW STILL RUN?

  • @Trezy124 I think so... :) There in the 600's or so, or something like that XD

  • Inmortality is possible. Cells die because of the oxidation caused by the oxygen. The same thing that give us life, takes it from us...weird. Anyway, if we can come up with a solution to this, we will be inmortal in terms of aging. So, cells will be able to grow and keep evolving forever...hehe.

  • @atapoicos00 this is just one factor, true inmortalily (aging) will come when we can replace every death cell with another good one.

  • therers no reason to have to believe in unicorns so its understandable that one wouldnt . but, there is a reason to explain why we exist, because were here, so its understandable one would believe in a creator. i dont think its the same argument. great show tho!

  • @checkmateproductions We are here. And there IS a creator. This creator is natural selection.

  • @checkmateproductions Man, we have perfectly good explanations why we are here, it's answered by science... Laws of nature brought us here, not some creator.

And if you say that god is a law-giver then you instantly go from a Theism to Deism. And Deists are basically Atheists, so there you go...

  • @SisK0211 There's problems with all of the Atheists propositions. For instance, the supposition that the laws of nature exist without a beginning is in itself a case for a creator ie. God. And most corollaries to explain away the existence of life are really mute because of their inability to explain this one basic fact.

  • @pbarc552

"the laws of nature exist without a beginning is in itself a case for a creator"

What? Wow that's some ignorant stuff.

  • @thirdLeg You need to read the ENTIRE post to learn that this was only half of what I said... In fact its when you re-read the entire post especially that with its first half slower to understand what I said because at that point you'll start to feel sick in your stomach... you'll probably need to lie down or something.

    'That's ok'

'There. There.' Your mother will say.

  • @pbarc552

At least you consistently make no sense.

  • @thirdLeg You're right. You need to possess some intelligence to understand what I'm saying. :)

  • @SisK0211 dude, you should watch more atheist experience, your arguments are horrible. Deists are not atheist, deists are the exact oposite of atheist in regards of belief, deists believe a god of some for of it exits, and atheist dont believe any god exits. We have good answers about how humans came to be but the further back we go the harder it is to prove theories, we lack a lot of answers, but the point is that there is no need to create a fairy tale in order to explain them.

  • Everyone in this video is stupid. Extremely stupid.

  • Hello? Brain, are you there? Hello?

    Hello?

  • you are the best caller ever!

  • Is it just me, or does the caller sound as if he's on coke? 0.o

  • @hollowtipholster187 Eff yes....lol

  • @hollowtipholster187 He was black, so it must be crack. ;-)

  • @hollowtipholster187 Hey he's not on coke, he is high on religion.

  • So basically theyre saying love doesnt exist either? You cant see that. Happiness doesnt exist? Anger doesnt exist?

  • @beatspage

Think for a second. Happiness and anger are emotions, right? Emotions can be measured and felt. God can not. Unless you say god is an emotion.
