  • Well at least the dog made it out OK.

  • ha ha gotta love the old timer

  • Is Danny retarded?

  • There's something I cannot understand. How is it possible that so many people are sleeping while others are in the movies! What time ist anyway?

  • @williamgadelha Its posiible/.

Hey you know what I want to give as aname to that monseter?

A rolly polly meat jelly pudding

  • @goodbyelonglive44 hmmmmm, pudding!

  • if the dog doesn't make it out alive then i'll be sad :(

  • 9:51 Smuckers' Revenge?

  • I wonder where the blob is from.... is it from a planet of blobs that try to eat other blobs? but then what do those blobs eat?

  • I wonder where the blob is from.... is it from a planet of blobs that try to eat each other?

  • he was trying to show her his meat.

  • A dime for a phone call ?? and what was the red booth he went into ?? and why didn't he come out in a cape with a big "S" on it ?

  • little dog running down the street? The store's front door was closed.

  • this cop has to be the dumbest cop in this film!!!

  • The character development in this movie is amazing. I *really* hope that the little dog makes it out alright. His is definitely the best acting in the movie. And his lines are a cut above those of his costars.

The rest of the town is probably better off as Blob food. Especially the police force and Steve's parents.

  • ummm sorry i'm still tryna wrap my head around the idea that a blob of crap can kill ppl. i like how in the 1988 on, the blob was acid. that makes a lil more sense in how it kills ppl

  • @TheCutiegurl96 it could suffocate them

  • @AbsolutePredator iknow but what does it do with the bodies. imean if it doesn't dissolve them, you should still see it in the blob

  • Query: Is the emergency phone number since 1970's '911' like the first number americans think of when they're in trouble...?

  • the blob says: "and i'll get your little dog too!"

  • @andreya133 LOL!!!!!!!

  • when i saw this movie in the theater it cost 75 cents ! and we all loved it ! lol ! and i have to thank all of you for the amazing funny comments ! you guys are so kool and funny ! ty !

  • "every criminal was a kid once" that may be true, but so was every police officer. ha.

  • The little dog! <:(

  • im never gonna eat a pbj sandwich again

  • Poor Jim..... war trauma....

  • 4:23-4:58

    Now that's an AIR RAID!

Ah a little bit of humor thrown into this horror flick. I got a chuckle out of it.

  • Grempa (grandfather) is the best :), in 4:49.

  • these bitches piss me off..the main chick in particular..how the fuck do u bust ur ass while the Blob is after you and then wait till that douche carries u away..and yeah..fuckin 80 cents..are u kiddin me..u pull me out of a movie that costs 80 cents im good..pull me out of a $11.50 movie n im tellin u to fuck off!!!

  • @gothmaster123

It's fun to swear when mommy & daddy won't know isn't it?

  • @ninjawraith17 nigga please..I live on my own..so mind ur business fool.

  • @gothmaster123 Back then 80 cents was alot the amount idiot. Ask any old person from the 50's and they'll tell you. Bettter yet look at a museum

  • @kotaro07 smh...sigh...stop taking time out of your life to comment on my fucking comment and watch the damn video.

  • @gothmaster123 I would but then there wouldn't be any fun in the world. Also i was bored and felt like doing something.

  • @kotaro07 I grew up in the 50s but don't consider myself an "old person", thanx very much :)) but ur right, 80 cents was a lot, a movie ticket back then cost 50 cents...

  • @gothmaster123 This was 1958. Gas was 24 cents.

  • That cop needs to cut that "this is a prank" crap. Not even Steve-o or Bam Margera would go this damn far for a prank. At least the pooch is alright~

  • Did you know Rob Zombie is working on a remake of this?

  • @crodgers100 I certqinly hope he doesnt all his movies consist of is sex, drugs and raunchy language =\

  • @crodgers100 Really? That would be awsome.

  • That is about an acid trip movie they're watching...

  • Little Miss Pink Sweater is hot...

  • "I'm gonna get to the bottom of this right NOW!"

  • Im so glad the dog is alright

  • Wow. Strange how ringing the fire bell and the air raid siren instantly makes everyone believe you.

    Except Sgt. Bird.

    And the disembodied voice.

    "He's right, Lieutenant!"

  • The guy who played the "He's right Lieutenant!" voice was actually Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. The director of this film.

  • It's hilarious how all the "kids" are so eager to help out and warn the town about something that none of them have actually seen but have only heard about from one guy and one girl.

  • @BigSal51 : Darn fool kids.

  • Do You People Think That Kids Of Today Would Be Listened To About A Monster? HAHAHA!!!! We Would Be Put In Jail For Being On Drugs!!!!

  • @bytorandthesnowdog1

They'd have 2 give us a drug test justa be sure though. They cant just send us 2 jail w/out takin a drug test just cuz they "think" we're on something. Its like at a job site, nothing will happen 2 u untill u've been proven ur on drugs.

  • Bahahahaha! The old man... "Wheres my Civil Defense Helmet?" "Fire!" "This has never happend before!" What am I going to wear!"

  • @ZombehWolf lol

  • I love how dave finally comes to his senses and believes Steve.

  • I'm still trying to get Dave to believe me, "Dave, CO2!"

  • The other guy said he saw the dog running down the street. How did the dog get out of the store?? The door was closed.

  • ''Every criminal in the world was a kid once, and its proofed.'' Wtf idiot police or something?

  • Darling what are you guarding us from and why are you British?

  • It's the fifties, you can't waste a cute little dog.

  • i know!!!!

:) its still like that in movies and i would like to keep it that way :)

  • They shouldnt "remake the blob", I wish they'd Just make a new original film that incorporates ideas from thee old classic movies, Kind of like Independence did with the "attack of the flying saucers" .

  • Huhuh...Dog is alive :)))

  • pff, dont tell us the suspense:P

  • "I don't think so Jim" "They already know your an asshole"

  • "We need to stop being a babysitting service and start being a police department." That cop pisses me off.

  • The blob has it all ! Bad acting, impossible plot complications, doting parentz, and oh, so much more !

  • Hey projector man your toast is done!!! Hear the bell at 9:20 ding!!

  • The reason why they had a bell for the projectionist was to alert him when the end of the reel was approaching. He would then look at the screen for the "cigarette burns," which are cues where the first one tells him to get ready to switch and the second one indicates to start the other projector loaded with the next reel to continue the film.

In "The Blob," the projectionist is killed before he could do this, which is why the film runs out while the audience is watching.

  • the blob reminds me of the jellys from neopets

  • jiggily jiggily goo

  • I think Jim is a paranoid schitzophrenic

  • A dime for a phone call?Wow.

  • and 80 cents for a movie ticket!

  • 1950's Teens save the world!

  • You know... I must have seen the other blob movie as a kid because I don't remember any of this.

  • In case anyone is wondering, people really did have wallpaper that ugly back then. The faded look was considered genteel.

Maybe that's why Steve's girlfriend's father is also played by a sixty-year-old. If she's the eldest child, and she's eighteen, then her father should be 48, max. I know that during the depression, many people postponed having families, but they generally did not postpone for twenty years!

  • Little Danny seems about as loopy as the little kid named David after his dental surgery! (as seen here on youtube!)

  • Kinda makes me wonder what Deputy Barney Fife would do? Hmmmmm-

  • Dont mess with THE BLOB

  • HOLY SHIT lmao that thing was HUGE!!

was it just me or did you guys see it change color?

when it came through the vent it was black.

then when it "Ate" that man, it was RED! o.O

  • it was the blood

  • Not in the 50s, kid. 911 didn't become the national emergency number until the 70s sometime.

  • @GoblinXXX it wasn't i collect stuff from that era and i try to learn everthing i can what was the emergency number?

  • @JohnDeere30201 There WAS no one emergency number. You probably could dial the operator and let THEM do it, but otherwise you called the number of whatever the appropriate local service was- Police, fire department, ambulance, whatever.

  • LOL @ the old man from 4:30-5:00

  • lol yeah, state the obvious

  • Best way to avoid a monster is this: Don't go looking for it!

  • i know like really!

have you ever noticed that in a scary movie the peron always runs TOWARD the monster? instead of AWAY?
