This is the same thing bands said when Dj's came on the scene I know cause I was in one and still play from time to time. I have mad respect for Dj's cause what they do is different from what a band does. The problem and I'm so glad he said it was "It's not about you" It's a job and to club owners it's a business. Words of wisdom you can be replaced so do a good job.

what jeff said at 5:00 is so important! i remember seeing two dj's on youtube that i thought were very good, post that they use ipods to play cocktail music or itunes on shuffle or continuous play to do there dinner music. It pissed me off! When DJ's start doing that, it's just a matter of time before venues start to buy their own ipods and speakers and replace you! what he said about club owners is hella true too. i've had soooo many promoters tell me i was their bff, only to low cut me.
