  • lenovo rules

  • i got a y570 with ssd too but mine needs about 25 sec. to startup. why is yours that fast?

  • @MrSorcererSimon Did you install Lenovo Boot Optimizer?

  • Lenovo is actually IBM machine.

  • actually lenovo was in standby mode in this video....so there is no credibility of this video

  • @27guitarhead How do you know this? There is no credibility in your comment

  • @n0y0x i have to agree with 27guitarhead, it really looks like it was on sby...

  • @27guitarhead Usually when a device is on standby, an indicator light is visible for a user to be made aware of this. Since there is none, and the system took even more time than the Apple to send power through the BIOS, your comment is rather unfounded.

  • Aguante la lenovo !!! le paso el trapo por 1 segundo.

  • @m4s7r0 gil

  • esto es joda. Más mentira. BULLSHIT MEN!

  • make this test vs a mac book pro with ssd and quad core processor.

  • @thundericky then they be using a thinkpad which still smashes the mbp

  • Yes, Windows on Lenovo Win!

  • so it can crash faster than the other Windows 7 machines right?

You can patch Windows all you want... you can make a rocket out of it... it is still Winblows

  • @gyzmopr That's right. When a Mac boots fast it is "Oooo look a Mac is sooo much better" but when a Mac loses out to Windows, its "oooo so Windows will just crash faster." It's a religion isn't it?

  • @gyzmopr Yes Windows is patched regularly. And it continues to run. And continues to run old software from Windows 98 days. That's good! Patch a Mac, upgrade the OS and suddenly you have to buy brand new hardware! That's called lock-in and planned obsolescence.

  • Mac:fucking around

    Lenovo:grown up stuff

  • @xxxfestivaxxx

Mac: fucking around being fashionable and trendy look at me look at me

Lenovo: grown up stuff getting things done and keeping the world running and running and running

  • @whatever000whenever hell fuckin yeah

  • it's called hibernate you can see that it already had the browser open ...I use sleep mode usually which is a little faster

  • @kamikazeOS that's not hibernation. The screen you see is the veriface face recognition prompt a feature that is built in in Y560p. If you know what is an SSD you would know it really is very fast.

Although there is no comparison among the two, one is sleek and very small designed with a different focus while the other is latest processor designed for entertainment focus.

  • Lenovo wasn't on sleep mode, the windows was a VTS report, but IDK the macbook

  • Dudes - why would one boot up a laptop from cold? You just shut the display down and open it later when needed right? Rebooting is only when there are major OS-updates and then you will have to wait for that anyways so... Secondly, why is the computer on the right so huge? Compare with something equal (if you really have to, see above) what is out there that is as thin, small and light - run your (in my opinion uninteresting) test.

  • Brand new y560p w/RapidDrive SSD (28 second boot time,should be 13)

  • ha!

  • OMG, that's the rapid drive function of Ideapad, it's really fast!

  • Macbook air was cold booted, Lenovo was in sleep mode, nice try idiots

  • @sebs30v

lolz, its actually lenovo's enhanced experience 2.0

this video is on lenovo's website

read the info here -> shop . lenovo . com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/special-offers.workflow:ShowPromo?LandingPage=/All/US/Sitelets/Enhanced%20Experience2

  • @sebs30v that not sleep mode its call rapid drive and its tuned. (IGNORANT)

  • Why's the program open at startup on the lenovo? plus you don't even see the bios screen

  • @putterosk Thats cos its got a custom BIOS and all the pretty stuff that takes up time is disabled.

noone ever actually needs to see the BIOS or POST screens so why bother wasting processing power on them?

  • I'm don't know much about computers and software, but I was interested in a lenovo, but i prefer and enjoy mac os much more...has anyone installed snow leopard on a lenovo, is it practical?

    thanks

  • @kickinitonthetube Don't recommend it... People usually say macs are over priced but you are actually paying for a quality product, you don't see many other laptops make their computer with a unibody aluminum casing. The macbook pro was just released, highly recommend it :D

  • It seems like the IdeaPad came back from Hibernation since a program was open, which explains the fast boot.

Is that what just happened or am I wrong?

  • Lenovo© is the best PC brand available, but everyone knows that Apple invents something new, and then everyone tries to compete but are incapable of doing so.

     ALLLL DAYYYY!!!

  • Lenovo = Real Business :)

  • @Kliffy77 if it was real business then why did IBM drop the line of Laptops? Lenovo is more of the same... PC.

  • @gyzmopr And when you look inside a Mac, gasp, it's a PC too! Just use what you prefer. Why do you care what other people prefer or use? Does being smug and superior make you feel better somehow? Why is that? Why the insecurity about being a Mac user?

  • @gyzmopr Yesterday no one knew who Lenovo is today Lenovo is a computer Giant! They make computers far superior in quality and reliability than American PC makers like HP and DELL IBM was losing money that's why they dropped the business Lenovo is becoming is gaining money and IBM has a big stake in Lenovo so IBM made a very smart move at work we use Lenovo ThinkPads laptop and they are from my experience the best business computers money can buy! by the way I'm a Mac user :)

  • i dont think that the idea pad is y560d think it is black right ??

  • Was pc in sleep mode? I did'nt see the post boot up dos driver screen???.. And when is Mr Gates gonna do away with Dinosaur DOS and boot right onto GUI???... Hopefully before the nest millennium !!

  • the ideapad was totally off ? if yes then how did it load win7 this fast

  • @CRAKIZGOOD It has an SSD and a hard drive. It's also been tuned- Lenovo calls this Rapid Drive.

  • @notebooks hmm

    got a i7 4ghz with two ssd raid 0 450 mb/s

and takes about 5 seconds for windows to load ( excluding the bios stuff in the begging)

  • @notebooks tuned? that explained. make it fair.

  • @CRAKIZGOOD well when u load all the stuff in in it it takes about 20 -30 secs on an average but yes when my pcwas raw this was a 12 sec boot time

  • @CRAKIZGOOD its has the lenovo enhanced experience that boots its up extremely quickly. i have the second generation of it and its orgasmic. what are you an apple fan?

  • @rumdigittyrum

no its just that i have owned a lot of computers over that past few years and i havnt seen anything like this before

  • @CRAKIZGOOD ohh sorry bro i didnt know you were just amazed by the fast booting sorry but yeah its pretty legit
