He looks like he is enjoying that time on the piano.............. that's GOOD on you Pop, Just keep doing things that make UR mind work snd keep it active ,,,,May your GOD bless you
Thank you for sharing....This brought tears to my eyes....it reminded me of my dad.We forget that a lifetime is a series of precious moments. We only glance at whats going on most of the time....but a moment such as this ,captured, is precious.
His legacy is carried on through you . You are a wonderful example of how people should honor their ancestors.
I know its kinda deep... but you get the idea.... :)
Wisdom. Still can play. I miss my Vavoa' (Portugease for grandma). She played a Viola 4 String guitar. She was so smart and had wonderful stories. I was shy to play my guitar and sing in front of people but when i was alone with her i would play and sing with her. I would do anything to go back in time.
He's still got the skill...YAY! At the end of the video, he said, "Let's get this tuned up." Obviously his mind is still in great shape. His wife is also in control, humming to remind him. Thanks for sharing.
i used to work at a home with a woman who was in the latter stages of alzheimers...and she played piano like liberace. it was unreal. i would just stand in awe of the two different personalities within her.

This is amazing. When she mentions Saint Louis blues he plays all those complicated chords, honky tonk bassline and all. Applause!

Amazing how the mind can still distinguish rhythm and tone long after other cognitive functions have diminished.
