I knew full auto would go through. Too much damage in the same spot. But yea this is extreme cases which should not really happen. Is the VSR10 Tokyo Marui? I always wondered if sniper rifles are worth getting.

@ZaCkOX900 Yes, it was a TM. They are nice to have, but a waste if you are not particularly fond of being a Sniper. I never keep them for long. I rarely use them.

hey dude nice review here! :D but i dont trust mesh..it bends to much and if you get shot at a skirmish by a high powered rife the bending must give way at some point..i mean theres a breaking point. Thats why i prefer full face plastic..much much

I've seen one like this from TMC, but I want to buy it on another site which is from my country and more reliable, but it's 35 euros. Is it worth it, if you play with 350 fps CQB? Or will it penetrate or ruin the mask so I cant use it anymor?

Or can you bend the bendingholes back?

546 fps from three feet away isn't going to happen unless you're playing on a field where they simply have no rules of any kind at all like no minimum engagement distance. Even at 546 fps, if you're 30 feet away, those dents wont happen. I'd say this is strong enough.

I just ordered the version 2 mask based on your review of the vers 1. Hopefully it works out ok for me because I have rather large goggles (ESS Land Ops) due to my glasses.

I already bought my Faceguard before i seen this review, i did not so far get shot in the face while wearing it, but the fact that you showed how much it can withstand made me confident that the next time we Infiltrate a building and i throw it on just to avoid getting facehits it will do its job, thank you for "destroying" your mask to make this review.

Received mine today. Out of the box, it was extremely uncomfortable. (hurt my nose and temple area) However, it was very easy to bend. Once I messed with it for a few minutes, it fit my face very nicely and now works great with flakjaks. (which are big goggles)

Out of the box-unsatisfied. After bending it a bit-it's very comfortable. (easy to do, you can bend it with your hands)

Definitely worth the money ($15 shipped currently on Ebaybanned)

@Stealthmaster15 Yeah Stealth.. That is exactly why I went with this Mask. The ability to form was paramount to me be able to use them. All faces are not shaped the same. Stay tuned for the testing of the Vers II Mesh mask.. Should be here next week.

Thanks for the video, great recommendation. Hoping to test it on the field soon. I know it will hold up fine for woodland, but CQB scares me a bit. (my local field has a plywood "CQB house" portion and the fps for the field is 400) I believe people use semi though.

@Stealthmaster15 You will be fine. Especially if it is Semi only. This mask held up to 546FPS at inches away on semi. It only failed with 486FPS because it was on full auto. It will def provide better protection than nothing.

What field is letting you use a full auto airsoft gun shooting 480?

@pointlesshavock Great question... None of our fields allow that type of FPS.. I just got the WE PDW days before this video was taken. I have not received the adjustable NPAS kit for it yet. I would never use this gun as is in a game.

@xavier3961 Yeah, there is not a lot of participation from us, but I see more and more every summer. I think the reason is lack of exposure to it. I was drawn in by the realistic nature of the guns. Everyone I bring to events, come back for more.

@modoudrammeh I think that is what I looked at originally. But because I am very picky about my head/face protection I went the cheap route to make sure I did not add to the pile of stuff I dont use..
