Obama just promised up to $10 billion to Brazil to help them develop the offshore Tupi Oilfield. Isn't that a kicker. Cantwell is decrying oil drilling, and Obama is helping another country develop theirs, but not America from developing ours. Oh, and China has signed up to get much of the Tupi oil. Too bad we won't create many US union jobs helping Brazil as we would have had our offshore fields (with $ trillions of value) been developed.

Cantwell was one of four founders of Apollo Alliance. Did she appoint Van Jones as National Trustee to Apollo Alliance? Who interviewed him? Did she know he was an avowed communist? Did she know he was a felon? Did she know he publicly claimed the government allowed the 9/11 attack to happen? That he claims white people poisoned farm workers? If so, what qualifications was she looking for that Van Jones had? What message is she sending America with this appointment?
