  • Its to bad its only the father ship and not the mother ship lol.

  • As much as I loved SG:U (so much better than SG:A), the opening scene was a little messed up. The engines were FTL, right? Then how come the sound of Destiny exiting FTL sounded like a freaking hyperspace window? A minor oversight, but still.

  • All you SGU hater Go Die, SGU is one of the best series that has been made.

And I personally hope that it will continue sometime in the future.

  • What is the class of this ship ?

  • @Neo587

It's an Ancient ship they've bumped into which they have never encountered before. It's called Destiny. Anything else I tell you would be a spoiler :)

Cool show. Too bad it got cancelled after only two seasons.

  • cancellation is FU..............

  • This was an AWESOME show! Syfy is stupid for cancelling it! Also, anyone know where I can get the soundtrack?

  • @starflame34 I bet in the ben with the 5 dollar cds this show sucked big balls!

  • @starflame34 Ebay?

  • God damn, where can I find the soundtrack!? It is amazing! And why did they have to cancel such an AWESOME show!?

  • anybody know what the instrument playing in the background is? (0:47 - 1:05) Sounds like a sitar, or something like it.

  • @godlordy Theramin

  • I remember watching this on its first showing on sky, i felt like i would have a brand new amazing series to watch for ages. then those stupid assholes cancelled it. I hope they all got fired for cancelling such an amazing show.

  • Once people said the Moon was impossible, yet we did the impossible, we got to the moon!

Once people didn't even believe in Black holes, despite having Galaxies "magically" clustering together stars similar to star systems, "magically" as they pretty much thought some years back..

Now about shields, we know so little about string theory, quantum world, dimensions, what else there could server as helping to make shields... It's way to early to say it's impossible :)

  • I love that ship. It's what sci-fi ships use to look like when they use to use Motion Control.

  • What is that instrument that sound so awesomely weird?

  • @Kroatek depands on what you consider "weird"?

  • @LtCWest Like nothing I have heard before.. Not in a bad way.

  • Did anyone else feel.... complete the first time they saw this?

  • I found this more atmosphereic than the previous stargates

  • if all these shows got together with a group of engineers they could probably make some kind of ship like this, without the shields, gate and other physically impossible stuff obvously

  • @sam23696 Shields are possible. Gates are... improbable. It is technically possible to generate stable wormholes but the specific way in which these operate is more effort that is worth. (Two-dimensional liquid event horizon, advanced buffer system, etc...)

  • @smatteringofapplause as it stands worm hole theory is possible but we lack the knowledge to actually make one or find evidence of one. shields as they are in the show are impossible but the equivalent in real life could be some kind of laser that deflects projectiles or something similar to reqactive armour on tanks, glowy transparent force fields are science fiction

  • @sam23696 Dude, black holes are wormholes.(They're just unstable) Evidence found.

As for shields: they could very well exist SIMLAR to "glowy transparent force fields" should they be made of a reactive plasma mixture suspended in an electromagnetic field. (Or a number of other methods not yet thought of.) Miracles are possible with enough ingenuity.

  • @smatteringofapplause black holes are in no way similar to wormholes, i know everyone associates black holes to a 'gateway' to some where else, and every sci tv show has an episode involving going through a black hole, but the reality is that black holes are extremely dense 'clusters' of material so dense that thier gravitational pull not only rips matter to singular atoms and destroys stars but also traps light itself. as for shield its one of those cases where we know what to do but not how.

  • @sam23696 Actually, what would happen if a wormhole generated naturally? There would be no stabilizing energy source to calibrate the event horizon, thus it would revert to the most basic energy type possible: Zero-Point Energy. The wormhole could not be sustained with ZPE alone and would thus collapse, leaving the two disconnected event horizons still converting anything that touches them into pure gravitational force.

    Black hole.

  • @smatteringofapplause i can see u wikipediad it. my point about black holes not being wormholes is you cannot travel through a black hole at any time no matter what. seeing as worm holes is entirely theory the collapsing of a worm hole could indeed result in the formation of a black hole. i would also remind you that my first comment was describing what was possible now and not theoretical or possible in the future

  • @sam23696 I did not use any outside source for my theories, all of them were formulated by myself. Also, yes it is true that you cannot travel through a black hole they still remain classified as a wormhole due to being a byproduct of one. But yes, it will take quite some time before we achieve the technology to generate out own wormholes, and it will take no small miracle for us to survive once we do. :P

  • @smatteringofapplause the argument is entirely pointless as wormholes are entirely theorectical and black holes are too dangerous to get any scientific evidence. one example that supports my argument, which is black holes arent a byproduct of a wormhole, is the hadron collider in germany which, when activated created millions of microscopic black holes that were in no way related to wormholes. but even so see me in 50 years and this argument might make more sense

  • @sam23696 Well to me that crap about millions of miniature singularities makes no sense to me. Total crap in my personal opinion, just because it doesn't fit with the rest of physics as we know it. It's entirely possible that it IS true and that our knowledge of the whole rest of physics is false but only time will tell.

  • i just look old epizodes :)

  • OMG I NEED MORE SGU!! 3 SERIES!! NEED!!!

  • @Hemirtcz1 There is a possibility to read the scripts for the 3rd season.... it's actually pretty good... if you like reading

  • @rhwerkman really? where?

  • @Hemirtcz1 philotic dot com/stargate or google for Stargate Universe: The Virtual Third Season

  • @rhwerkman but in document is This is work of fanfiction

  • @Hemirtcz1 Don't care, it is still awesome...

  • I dont belive is finish sgu .........oh my godddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

  • Is it me or did the first few seconds seem like the intro to Star Trek?

All it's missing is the all important "Space...the final frontier"

  • 10 people love syfy for their cancelling

  • It's got an almost Firefly-esque feel to it between 0.43 - 1.07

  • @AndrewDeLong Yes I did. There were a few good episodes but in general:

1)I found character relationships/past/whatever too tiring.

They STRETCHED OUT the fights between members of Destiny WAY too much, to the point that you were forgetting about the plot.

2)Not enough background. Both SGA and SG-1 didn't give info by the handfulls but they had background into their stories and not Generic blue aliens that want tech to fight other generic evil machines.

    3) too much drama for MY taste.

  • @Joervol my feelings exactly... i got that impression when they had an officer having sex with his NCO on the first episode... its a decent concept for a show but they should have spent another year fine tuning it while they properly finished the SGA story arc. I wont go ranting to what bothered me with the show but one of the main issues was the overused communication stones that destroyed the show. I could care less about Eli's mom, Chloe's friends or Everett's wife and many more...

  • @thesencho SGU expanded on the Ancients? How? They said that they launched destiny and other ships like that to explore "the big unknown". RIGHT there, the show deviated from Ascension AND ancients. It spoke about something BEFORE time (aka god?) and tbh, thank god we never found out what it was.

There wasn't anything about the Ancients aside from the ship itself!

Also, you can like the plot, but in no way you can call it "tightly". Both SGU and the previous gave plot info once in a blue moon!

  • -Omg, a big alien spaceship is coming towards us! Omg omg what are we gonna do????

-We are gonna talk about our relationships!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    -????

    Stargate Universe.

No coherent plot, character vendettas that made absolutely NO sense, character development at the wrong times, I can go on forever. Also, the "big" surprise for destiny was an utter facedesk. They completely abandoned the whole "Ascended" plot of the previous SG to go into senseless theologies.

  • @Joervol

You miss key issues, mostly from an apparent desire to have SG-1 2. While the writing in season 1 was shaky by early season 2 we got a far richer and tightly-written show than we saw in the first years of SG-1 or most of SG-A's run.

As for not focusing on Ascending, you miss how SG-U became one of the greater Sci-Fi licenses. At last there was an ancient race with individuals and separate goals. SG-U expanded the Ancients into something far more than SG-1 ever did.

  • @Joervol I would correct you on ever account, but looking at the comment below me, it would seem that someone else has done a far better job than I ever could.

That said, I must ask, did you even watch season two?

  • please help save stargate universe by liking the facebook page save stargate universe, it already have over 60k likes

  • I miss it so much... Broke into tears re-watching this.

  • @SubscribeILike I cannot watch the DVD's I bought because I still get angry at Siffee (they do not deserve to be associated with the word SciFi in any manner). This show was bordering on greatness.

  • @scifi75 Yeah I agree.

  • @scifi75 You speak truth here.

  • long live sgu :(

  • By far the most nerdgasmic scene in all of sci-fi history

  • @OhHeyItsJakers agreed

  • @OhHeyItsJakers i think its way better than any star trek intro and i loved the voyager franchise

  • I love every single one of Destiny's powering up noises.

  • Hmmm...music by Joel Goldsmith. Any relation?

  • @Battle5tarRJC He is the son of Jerry Goldsmith, yes.

  • @smatteringofapplause Oh cool!!! It would be well cool that every time wtching The Next Generation to be able to say "Hey my dad wrote this theme...perhaps you've heard of him?"

  • I'm a big BSG fan and a few people have recommended some stargate series to me. I really like the original movie, but I vever gave any of the series a chance. Should I have done?

  • @Battle5tarRJC

If you are a fan of the movie, then I highly recommend the series. All three of them, as a matter of fact.

  • @Reazzurro90 The DVD release movie finished it off, "Stargate Ark of Truth", They also finished off the plot with Bol or how ever you spell it "Stargate continuum".

  • @Baseshocks They were planning to do 2 more movies, one more Atlantis and one more SG1 with different story lines but all leading to one, then MGM went into administration and the movies were cancelled :( then SYFY cancelled universe but said they were going to finish it off with 8 TV movies but then SYFY pulled the plug on them as well :(

  • @Baseshocks

Ba'al :P But yes technically SG-1 couldn't possible have any more to give even tho i wish, all threats in milky way is gone tho lucian alliance still is a little dangerous.... nothing Earth cant handle atleast.

  • @Loliaz I guess fractures in the free Jafa. The thing that united them before was the break free of the Goa'uld. These are ground based problems so they can cut out the power ships. What about that ailen/human planet the episode "Space Race" they had an advanced culture, why not some sort of alliance of a sort. Maybe they could have found more gate addresses in a ancient database, back to exploring they can add a bunch of weird shit on new planets.

  • @Baseshocks

True but it would be bad making a new SG-1 movie only to have a new enemy rise.... then when the movie ends leave a HUGE cliff hanger, cuz MGM is done with Stargate it seems :(

  • @Loliaz dang...... Their does not have to be a major bad guy for a series, they can go back to the roots and explore, let the writers go wile with imagination. I'll email you a link to a gateworld form that has ideas posted... meh ill just cut and paste it email it to you here.

I actually put time and effort into my post their lol. Tell me what you think or if I am full of shit.

  • Why are you disabled embedding?

  • This series was ended way before it time (should have been at least 5-7 seasons)

and as for nunodionisio117 question about the shield, well the ship is designed to be exploration vessel, not a battleship. so the shields could simply used to defect most of the heat and radiation coming from the star

  • Frankly, I was never a great fan of SG, I became more interested with Atlantis, and now I´m amazed with SGU. I wouldn´t dream it would be possible to do something this original with a franchise. The argument was promising and got even better in the second season and the cast is great. This the most mature SG. In this second season we watched all the technological and batle features all Science Fiction fan loves, wonderfully punctuated with touching, yet believable human drama.

  • @tripLeJvidscompany if you don`t know nothing about stargate better keep you fucking mouth closed....are we ok with that only stargate fans can......... if you aren`t one GTFO!

  • the design is clearly ancient, but the cancellation is purely syfy

  • @tripLeJvidscompany, the morons at the Science Fiction Channel cancelled it before it fully developed. They killed their succesful Stargate Franchise that waqy to make room for weird reality shows like Face Off (Make Up & Characters Design Challenge) or the evfen more ridiculous Ultimate Gamer.

  • @tripLeJvidscompany yeah the show sucked! It had horrible ratings! It was to much of a soap show in space it was lame and boring!!! What a shame!!!!

  • Syfy should be shot for canceling this show

  • @DIVOTMOVIES Syfy should be shot for making it. They should also be shot for canceling SG-1 and antlantis.

  • "Syfy should be shot for making it." Wut, i like the other star gates, but this one out does the others by a LOOOOOONG shot. Why should they be shot for making it?

  • @DIVOTMOVIES Because it's a gay ass space drama. Maybe you're a girl or something. It was cancelled because almost everyone hated it.

  • no, i don't like "space dramas" but as far as i am concerned, this was the only "space drama" that was good.

And no i am not a girl.

"Because it's a gay ass space drama." thats your opinion

"It was cancelled because almost everyone hated it." Get your facts straight

it was rated, 7.7 on imdb.

  • @rottenpancakes Atlantis was starting to lose it's charm.. I just rewatched the first season, and then a few episodes from the last season, and the first/second seasons were much better then the last season. Only thing i liked later were the Michael plot line, he is one awesome villan!

  • @Dahxelb

I disliked the Michael plo tline. I thought it took the focus off of the real enemy: the Wraith. The season finale though was excellent. And much better than SG1's.

  • In another 1-2 years I really hope this same scene repeated but a full team of SGC personel come through with a ZPM.

It's such a shame SiFi (SiFail) caned the show.

  • This opening on BlueRay on my huge TV gave me goose bumps.

  • @DogOnAShip y

  • @DogOnAShip

I know what you mean. For a Science Fiction fan, SGU is a must. Once you master an art, you should go on, this story is far from over-explored.

Just one thing bothers me (but that is just because I have high standards, I love the series). How come the shield is powerful enough to get inside a star, has dificulties in dealing with enemies lasers? I guess in nowadays SciFi, lasers are much more poweful!

    Bring on Season 3, please.

  • @nunodionisio117 The energy shots from a ship will be a different frequency from the ships shields so when the energy birst hits the shield it drains the power by canceling out that energy in the shield, were as the suns carona is heat and plasma which is what the ship collects as fuel. it doesn't attack the shield in that way. It has to be a certain type of star though to.

  • Wish the producers found money to continue the show.. It was the most epic serie out there!

  • Fucking amazing. Why did they cancel this show... storyline is by far the best from any film imo.

  • my big thing about destiny is compared to altantis and all the outpost the tech dont look ancent i mean for so long SG1 and SGA fans where toght that the ancents build wonderfull building and machens and then when SGU comes in the ancents tech seems dark and not well lighted not the right collors and just like downer and damp looking so tell me whats up with that

  • @KILLERXZ87 Basically this ship was created hundreds of thousands of years before Atlantis. It was created back when they first started inventing high speed space travel technology. The ship needs 16 engines to go only at a fraction of the speed as Atlantis. It was sent out then hundreds of thousands of years later the ancients planned to board it. But they ascended. So now it just flies through space away from earth. Atlantis was created at the high point of ancient civilization.

  • @KILLERXZ87 the ship is suppose to be old and kind of fucked up. my issues were with the relationships, stargate was not built on he said she said bullshit. also its not battlestar galactica where the civies try to revolt. They tryed to pick up BSG fans but by changing it soo much they pissed off a lot of stargate fans. the cast was great the base story was good. I could care less teen drama from the different crew members eshh..... i mean SGA was canceled to run this show............

  • @Baseshocks

To be honest though, Atlantis had more or less run its course. I think they gave it a superb ending. I just wish Atlantis was more involved. Beautiful city :-P.

  • @Reazzurro90 I would have liked them to finish off the story with the wrath, from where it left off the wrath were still fucking up that galaxy. Maybe they create some sort of drug that can feed them so they do not need humans, turn them human, Plague kill them off... or some crazy other idea.

  • @Baseshocks

That's true too. I would have enjoyed that. Bu I wasn't unhappy with the ending. I was more disappointed with the ending of SG-1. The Asgard died too quickly, and the whole time dilation field without giving a direct answer on what happened to the Ori - beh....

Maybe they'll have a Stargate: Back in Time. I'd like to see more on the Ancients. :-P

  • This video looks like VIDEO GAME OPENING.

  • love it !!! so pissed it got canceled =(

  • stargete will last forever eve if isn`t SG-1

  • Staragte Universe has a great opening and a great ending. I mean the end was so genial but witout a thired season ist is shite...

    Save SGU

  • that's a pretty nice intro, but the series still sucks . . .

  • such a shame this ended :(

  • @roeas29 Ended? Wait, so Universe has been cancelled to now? How did it end? Did it ever really go anywhere?

  • @DGneoseeker1

Depends where you stopped watching. Things really picked up near the end of the first season, it got really good. It ended with the crew needing to do a FTL jump through an entire galaxy, which'll take years, so they all go into cryosleep except Eli, whose pod didn't work. Eli had two weeks to fix his before he would have to turn life support off to save power. Sort of ended on a cliffhanger.

  • @roeas29 They cancelled ANOTHER Stargate series on a cliffhanger? Someone has to die for this. Ok, it wasn't really cancelling before, but they moved Atlantis to a channel I don't have after 2 parts of a three part cliffhanger. I was ENRAGED.

  • @DGneoseeker1

Haha, I can imagine. I *hate* cliffhangers with a passion. The whole "leave the ending to the audience's interpretation" thing is bullshit.

  • @roeas29 Thankfully I finally saw the conclusion on DVD, but after one more series or so, they cancelled the whole bloody series! And Stargate SG-1 was already dead. At least they gave that a couple of extra movies. I'm still annoyed at the lack of a decent video game...

  • magical sounds, great series!

  • such a beautiful piece. and such an underestimated series.

  • what is name of this song? please?

    0:49 this is good song

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, but do anybody know, where i can find the sound footage from this vid? I am trying to make my own SGU game mod (based on Original - War strategy PC game) and this theme for menu shoul be really cool... :D

  • What is NEXT after STARGATE?

  • It ends... :(

  • @Grimscz Yes but the way it ended... I see someone else picking it up like what happened to SG1 when Showtime canceled it. It may take a while but unless they pull a Firefly and kill it with a movie I can see someone else picking it up if the fans make waves.

  • petitionspot . com / petitions / SGUniverse

  • Joel Goldsmith is god

  • the music is amazing!

  • All 3 stargate tv serious are great.. if ur a true stargate fan just love <3

  • fucking amazing, i love this show

  • Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica have there own distinct style so in my opinion they dont reallyhave to change. But Star Trek definatly should tale a page from Stargates book and switch of there style. And you know what SCREW THE FANS!!!!!! all some of them want is the same thing over and over again. I contribute that to part of the reason SGU was canceled.

Oh and yes I am a fan of all the sci-fi series I just mentioned.

  • @Kingrex16 Star Trek did switch it up a bit with the 2009 movie, which incidentally was a huge success

  • @argebarse

Well i was thinking more along the lines for A Star Trek Tv show filmed with the same effects and techniques used in BSG. That would be awesome

  • @Kingrex16 If Ron D Moore could have had his way, Voyager would probably have turned out like that. And yes, it would have been awesome.

  • @argebarse

man i cant wait for the day they start making a new star trek series. I definatly wanna see where the story is gonna go.

Oh yeah And Screw you JJ Abrams the next movie you do done freaking kill off a planet.

    R.I.P Romulus :(

  • @Kingrex16

    Ahhh, you poor ignorant slop.

The planet wasn't Abrams idea, and its a canonical part of the Star Trek time line.

And shouldn't you be swooning about how SGU got cancelled, not that Abrams 'killed' the franchise.

  • Star gate, Star gate Universe, drifting through time and space, destiny, destiny is so close... thats my respond to the creators challenge write lyrics to star gates intro Lol!

  • I just love the opening to the series! The music was perfect too :D

  • This intro was amazing...it really gave me chills when i first saw it...

  • @jarekprdel It still gives me the chills

  • join "save stargate universe" on facebook! Show them how much we love SGU and we want more!

  • I can't help but feel when the music at 0:44 starts and the original actors' quest star titles are shown, that Stargate has come a long way and the original characters are aging.

  • @DragonicaArcher lol no they didnt cos realy the stargate sg1 crew had a 10 year plan and so they keept it and they finished stargate atlantis too and then fans of starcraft wanted to get more series but it was impossible to keep on for over 10 years so they made a new serial with another characters and story

  • Really epic! So affecting!

  • Universe is utter trash, I hope they just cancel it now for good. Too much sex and arguing and no exploring of shit! Terrible show

  • @Niche79 ikr it gets really annoying with all of that but you have to give the shows a bit of credit don't you love the space battles and the graphics although atlantis had way better battles but i think what the writers are trying to write here is that the ancients wanted to know how the universe was created and how old is it and how it began is like us being curious about the background radiation that is the mission of destiny so the universe part is actually talking about the universe get it

  • @Niche79 Retard Alert!

Anyway, this was one of the best intros to a series ive ever seen, gave me chills when i first saw this! The music & the effects are first class!

  • @JB9208 good i hope you enjoyed it cause just like the times you dream of loosing your virginity, it will be over just that fast and not be that great in the end!

  • @Niche79 LOL where did virginity come into it? The fact you brought it up clearly indicates that you are talking about yourself, you sad fuck. Believe me when i say that puppy was lost many years ago my friend, i have fucked girls you could only dream of, 3 models of many others, so far & counting. I'd tell you more but i know you'll be tossing yourself silly at my stories LOL. Go back to school kid, dont try and mess with the big boys ;)

  • To all who love and appreciate this show for what it is, not what it isn't, Please show your support for the franchise by heading over to SG:Unite on facebook and twitter, as wel as their website SGUnite.com Google it or visit my video to find the details (SGU Campaign- SG:Unite)

  • I'd only seen the movie stargate w/ kurt russell, love sifi shows decided to check this one out loved it set my DVR after the first episode so i wouldn't miss it.

  • @thatnatehuff You've only seen the Stargate movie?? Oh man, you have to find some way to watch the original SG-1 series. Arguably one of the best scifi shows ever made. This coming from a guy who's also a Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica fan.

  • This show is pretty tight.

  • these eps are avail online at SGUStreaming=dot=com

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • One thing I have to say positively about this show is the music is fantastic. I mean...the violin weeping and then suddenly the electric guitar is just beautiful. But I'm having such a hard time liking the rest of the show. I don't really like any of the characters that much.

  • I love the music for 0:42-1:08. It fits the show perfectly. SGU is definitely my favourite Stargate so far, and I am a huge fan of both SG1 and SGA.

  • This opening reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Actually SG-U is the first Stargate series that really is about SPACE.

The cast is great. Col. Young looks like a real officer, bruised and all. Greer is a real bully. Rush is a helluva genius. Ray is a true...well, HR moron.

In comparison, SG-1's cast looks like a bunch of top-models hiking never-ending forest paths. But I love them, however.

  • I think the show is very good, it's an alternative to LOST.

I was a big fan of SG1 and Atlantis and i greeted the show negatively but i've grown to like it now.

Sadly the ratings are WAY down from Atlantis i fear the will only be a third season then it's gonna be over.

The reason is because it's mainly more of a moral/sentimental experience than the previous shows so it's for a smaller audience.

  • Too sad they don't really have any opening title sequence anymore.... just the mere SGU logo.....

  • does anyone know where to get that tune from???

  • Stargate Atlantis-FOREVER(L)(L) !!!!!

  • i like the fact that the show is not as predictable. the other 2 shows were great, but much simpler storyline

  • What is the title of that amazing song?anyone?

  • Remember to me the Xenogears intro.

  • Best Stargate show with the best music.

  • enfin!

  • robert carlyle as doctor rush ftw hes the reason im watching :D

  • @selearemus he he he...ravenous.....have you seen it LOL

  • i like Universe, but the first season was too heavily on the "drama" of sex.

which is just no, it fails miserably, we have enough soap operas on during the day, universe needs to really start getting a more brilliant storyline, ive watched the whole first season, and the storyline,as minute as it maybe, has great potential& im hoping the 2nd season does the SG franchise justice, or this scifi soap opera wont last long, IMO.

  • Stargate Universe is great from a proffessional view, but on my perosnal view... not so. I miss what made SG-1 and Atlantis so special: The alien bad guys and the humor! And I don't like what they replaced it with: Dawsons Creek teenage mumbo-jumbo.

Don't get me wrong, the series is well made, but I don't care for any of the characters than Rush. He is the only thing that keeps me enjoying the show. Eli made the series to for a while, but lately he has become boring.

  • StarGate Forever

  • I like on Stargete series, that they are from earth and they are from our time. This is reason why i don't like Startrek, Starwars, BSG, Firefly and others...

  • Gotta admit as a SG1/SGA fan I didn't expect much from this but it's been great so far. It's more like SG1's earlier seasons, where it's more character driven and I can't say it's a bad thing. Overall I've thoroughly enjoyed this season although I would like to see a bit more action. Hopefully they'll raise the stakes for season 2.

  • Well I gotta admit. I'm a huge SG1/SGA fan, and I love the action of the 2 shows that came before, but this show is definitely something different, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. To me it reminds me more of the earlier seasons of SG1, when it was a more character driven show. Less about oh crap we're in trouble lets beam out and more about we're on our own lets figure something out. The cast is just great if you ask me,

  • @n0slet This is a diferent kind of Stargate al together. So far I am hooked on it.
