What I really like about Jason Bourne is his solemnity and seriousness... He only conveys emotion when necessary and I can relate to that. Also, he's incredibly strong, not just physically but mentally. He doesn't even cry when the love of his life dies. Instead, he views it as a loss caused by a unjust enemy which he seeks to justify...

I loved the series ending at this movie but now they're making a new one?

I could watch the Bourne trilogy again and again and every time I watch them, they get better! It's one of the only action films that I could just not find a flaw or goof in them! Jason Bourne makes James Bond really do look like a wuss. James Bond, with his "wit", his fancy smile and expensive clothes (which are only an obstacle in a true battle).. always drinking, always being a womanizer, relying on gadgets... sure, pretty cool, but Jason Bourne however? Now he's the real deal. No nonsense.. just extremely focussed and standing his own against the entire world. Both are very cool chars, but my respect goes to Jason.

I don't think any actor could have played Bourne like Damon did. He made him lethal, cold & intimidating but he also has this very human, vulnerable side. Not many male action heroes today have the ability to invest something like that into a character, they're all 'I'm a macho man, it's all testosterone and frowning, dude', but Damn at least gives his character this relate-able quality that makes him so much easier to actually care about, as opposed to Bond. I wouldn't really care if Bond died.

Possibly not quite as cool as Bond, you can't teach the class and skills of seduction he has with women, and possibly not quite as awesome at fighting as Bourne, but I would definitely say that both the CIA and MI6 have men who are highly trained spies and assassins. I mean look at historical events we do know about, they certainly had these guys in WW2 70 years ago, so why not now?
