  • Excellent camera control at the moment of touchdown!

  • I TOTALLY Love MD-80's and they make one the best authentic engine sounds ever at takeoff plus it's so quiet from the front than compared to being noisy in the back and it's so loud at takeoff from outside. BTW, when you were on your way to seattle, did you see any thunderstorms?

  • Not really. The closest would be what I filmed out of the window...

  • Ahh im going to miss that lovely takeoff engine sounds for this bird, such a beautiful aircraft! Great vid, and your in the best position for videos!

  • @4rnweekwewm

    *eyeroll* @ "bird"

  • @keemez soo what is a better word than that??

  • @4rnweekwewm

    Aircraft, airplane, plane, aeroplane.......

No self-respecting aviation enthusiast ever refers to an aircraft as a "bird".

  • @keemez right ok.......anyhow

  • @keemez No self respecting aviation enthusiast uses "plane" either. Bird is preferable to "plane" or "aeroplane". "Aircraft" is perferable to all of them.

  • @jbriggs1966 I use plane... Just because you know better terms you should dump something as simple as plane. As far as I know it means the same thing, and saves CO2 emissions.

  • I love the sound!

  • I got on this flight on stanby at the last minute ( literally) and the lady at the gate said they had a window seat, but it was in the rear of the plane. I said 'sounds good to me'!

  • great video Subbass32! Just want to know do you play Microsoft Flight Simulator?

  • Thanks! Only a little. My son does though, and he loves it. I was hoping to get some footage of Mt Rainier, as it was spectacular, but I was on the wrong side of the plane...

  • No problem. I play Flight Simulator 2004 too, you can download any plane imaginable for that game it's awesome, including American Airlines MD-83s.

  • We'll look for that. I like flying on them, the seats are a little wider than the typical 737, and if you're up front, they are very quiet.
