  • He makes his guitar sound like a whale.

    HE's amazing!!!

  • Why isn't he wearing a shirt?

  • @thaaargler cause he's diesel

  • amazing best solo ever

    grz from holland

  • Why hasn't anyone commented since last year?

  • Because everyone was think he was dying.

  • Eruption..?

  • parts of eruption

  • I just bought that guitar!

  • afraid you didnt son, thats the new wolfgang not the peavey or ernie ball. and its not released yet. unless you managed to get your hands on an unreleased guitar and in that case i bow to you

  • from what company?

  • Fender

  • thanks!

  • ed is so fucking bad ass

  • as far as i no,eddie hasnt played the frankenstein at a real concert in years.he should though.

  • he plays it every show. during little guitar and jump and a few others

  • hed did feb sith i saw it it was amazing

  • Anybody know where I can gat a pair of Eddie's "Frankenstein" converse?

  • they cant be bought; they were custom made. They never offered them for sale. I emailed Converse years ago and this is what they told me. Make your own with paint and patience. I did for my kid and they look great.

  • I was there too and yes, it was a great show. I saw them on the Diver Down and 1984 tour. Seeing them again brought back a lot of great memories. I drove up in a snowstorm to see the 1984 tour in Hartford. Most of us grew up in the 80's and these guys were our soundtrack to OUR teens. Eddie's a guitar god. Dave may not jump 15 feet off the drum riser any more but he is still a great frontman. One thing I was disappointed with was that they didn't have the huge "VH" above the stage.

  • thomasblacksheep; hes not using a Peavey; its the new EVH Wolfgang soon to come out; built by Fender. Look at the new headstock if you can find a pic.

The Peavey Wolfgang is one of the nicest playing guitars ever. Way slicker than alot of the crap out there.

  • wendelmania, wow! you're right it is a fender. man it looks just like peavey custom shop. my bad. still fender has a hard time with duel humbucking pickup guitars. had an american standard with duels in the lead position. had to change them. thanks wendelmania! keep rocking.

  • true, Fender has a hard time selling dual humbucker models, but his model is made by them but wont say Fender; EVH brand. Plus any brand Ed endorses will sell; he sells more than all other artists models combined.

  • I was there... It was amazing to say the least. Just wow.

  • eddie's great!

    peavey guitars suck!

  • there not bad if u buy high end ones.

  • Where was your seat? I was sitting right by you I think.

  • EDDIES BACK AND HES AMAZING!

  • He did use the Black/White/Red striped guitar, but was having some tech problems with it. An awesome show!

  • Why the hell isn't he using his red/black/white striped guitar, either the original, or the $25,000 copy??????

  • I was there

    What a sick concert

  • This was so sick! i think my ears were bleeding...i was in section 6 11 rows behind the big S and diamond dave...it was so sweet

  • Plenty of tix left for Sammy at 800 seater Lakewood movie hall in Dallas!

Catch Sammy Hagar and the Wabos, with special guest Mike Anthony at a movie theater, High School Gymnasium or Church Carnival near you this Fall!

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha right on man high school gym hahahaha

  • I saw Halen in Philly and it was FUCKIN LOUD....shook the whole arena! Anyone going to see this tour is in for a real treat...the band has all the cocky attitude from the early 80's but they dont fuck around as much...it's all about the music and they are playing FUCKIN' TIGHT AS SHIT!!!

  • i was in section 105 row k, they havent changed a bit

  • He;s been playing the same solo for the past 22 years, The best solo was from the 1984 Tour, he played alot of blues clapton style, Tru to find the 1984 Tour at the madison Square Garden in NYC... I was there

  • i was there last night it was loud lol.

i loved the solo after that they did aint talkin bout love

    i was in sec 120 row c

  • That show was way too loud, or maybe it was just because i was right near the front where the speakers wear, either way it rocked. My ears are still ringing.

  • That was quite literally the best show I've ever been to. I was 4th row on Eddie's side... it was BEYOND loud. I've never worn (and never will) ear-plugs, and I just got my hearing back this morning. Worth the 3 and a half-hour drive and every penny!

  • I was there last night...good show....dang loud

  • I was there last night and fucking amazing thanks for the upload

  • I'm seeing Ed in Chicago on the 16th. It's gonna amazing. =VH=

  • Eddie's awesome, but it seems he plays that same solo every tour. Actually the 2004 reunion tour where he was still using drugs/alcohol, he played something a little better.

  • to the best guitar player ever and the best concert I ever went to in my life..that was the best performance i have ever seen!!!!!!

  • I'm not that impressed with this perfomance at all...

I wish he could focus a little bit more in what he's playing and try to come up with something new in his solo.

  • He's not trying to impress, plus that solo is his trademark and that's what the people love to hear.

  • How about to both impress and do his trade mark like he did in the balance tour eruptions?

  • Somebody give me a HEARING AID!

I was there and I still can't hear anything.

Better than expected performance Four Stars

  • Me too. I was on the floor so I put in eat plugs. I still can't hear. Great show. Anyone have footage from when they broke into Magic Bus?

  • I was there that show was amazing

  • I am SO glad I didn't shell out $200 to see this. I'm a HUGE Van Halen fan, but I saw them back in their glory days, '79-'83, and even though they sound good here, the stage show and energy level is nowhere near what it used to be, and it ain't worth $200, not by a long shot.

Sometimes, you just can't go home again....

  • I was at this show, pretty awesome. I hope someone got Alex's part, when Ed's rig cut out in the middle of Somebody Get Me a Doctor. THAT was some amazing, improv. drumming.

  • the god the king jesus of electric guitar rock on motha fucka!!!!
