the shots actually not that rare i see it at least once a day in the bowling alley i work at, its just a loose bracket in the gutter that makes the ball pop out when it hits it just right at just the right speed and angle

If you look closely, the ball goes off into the gutter. It goes past where the bumpers would be up. If you think this guy used bumpers, you're a fucking idiot.

Bumpers go inbetween the lane and the gutter. The ball clearly goes into the gutter before bouncing back into the lane.

It is real because a similar thing can happen if you throw the ball fast enough and it goes into the gutter just before it would have hit pins. Often times it will bounce back slightly and knock over the 7 or 10 pin depending on which side it went to.

There was a bumper which wasn't flush to the surface so the ball bounced back? i've done it before. Besides, in the video you don't even see the ball fall into the gutter and there's a metallic clanging sound when the ball bounces back towards the pins

It's not the speed, because I've thrown 22mph gutters that didn't come out, and that wasn't 22+mph.

It's more of the angle of entry into the gutter, hard to explain but it hit more direct into the gutter which helped it bounce out
