I went and looked up the translation of this song and I immediately began to weep.

I am not Punjabi nor Indian/Pakistani but I am surrounded by many.

The punjabi language I discovered is much more than Bhangra.

Listening to songs like these made me appreciate the wide range of emotions inherent in Punjabi music. It is very Moving.

I am also very moved by the Sikhs Gurbani's when I read the translations.
