QM is for Quality Motorsports. what the 600 stands for... my guess would be 600whp, as that seems to be the magic number on most of these cars with that cam. you could call the company and ask, and i'm sure they'd tell you what it really means

For the question below, they are referring to the camshaft. In this case, as with all chevy small blocks, there is only 1 camshaft.

funny, 1000hp Honda, Its all about American Muscle if you want HP. This Vette requires less work to get there. Honda needs shit loads of work to get them there. low torqued, high revving engines. Car has LG Long Tubes and Off Road X pipe, ported Intake manifold and Throttle Body, K&N Cold air Intake, Electric Water Pump, Exedy Twin Disk Clutch, QM600 Cam, Diamond Forged Pistons, and NX 200 Progressivly controlled Wet Shot and custom Dyno Tune By DynoTune Motorsports and me. As for power, lets just say it has A LOT. I haven't dyno'd it with the 200 shot yet but have on Motor and it is pretty healthy. I was at 502RWHP prior to the Clutch, Pistons, Cam and wet shot.

If the L88 was 560hp, it would've been faster than it was. They were certainly fast cars, capable of high 12's at 112 to 114mph, but not 560hp fast. I know that engines are not rated the same way that they were in the 60's, as they used to be rated at gross HP before putting on all accessories, but still.. By today's standards, and L88 was probably making 450hp at the crank.
